Shopaholic Amy!

Hellooo!
I have here a card that was a last minute order...I sometimes wonder how I get them done in such a hurry lol!

Now I have Donna to thank for the inspiration... the brief I was given was 'shopaholic' and I happened to come across Donna's post as I was blog hopping and looking for challenges! I loved this image by Digistamp Boutique and thought it would be perfect for the card. I also thought I would try paper piecing...it's not something I am comfortable with, but I actually rather like this one! I coloured the rest of the image, 'Amy' and the '18' with Promarkers. The papers are Pink Petticoat.

Bye for now!

Simply Christmas

Evening!
Wow...5 cards in 2 days! LOL! This is one of the many I made at Jen's today...we had a very productive day...she was a real inspiration to me today! Thanks hun! :)

The sentiment stamp is one of Jen's - an Inkylicious one and I stamped it with Flitter Glu and glitter. The poinsettia is Marianne and the ribbon was Jens's too!

Challenges

Ok...now off to see Skyfall! :))

Stylish Star

Good morning!
This week at Less Is More, Chrissie and Mandi have come up with a sketch...

The stamp is Stylish Star by SU! and I used silver Encore ink...the best metallic inks in my opinion! I mounted it onto some gorgeous deep red mirror card. The embossing folder is unknown though, sorry. I mounted the star panel slightly raised for interest. I do plan on adding a sentiment but I seem to have very few small Christmas ones...so that will be my next purchase I should think!

Ok...off crafting with Jen and then to see Skyfall! And in between, a couple of walks with Seth! :)
Bye and have a lovely Saturday!

Sparkle and (lots of) Bling for Christmas!

Good afternoon!
It's gorgeous here today! Even got my washing out!
We had a lovely day in Lytham yesterday with my friend Elaine, walking our holiday doggy and enjoying the fine weather, and we even came back through Blackpool Illuminations, listening to the Train gig on Radio 2...a very pleasant day! Today, we are going to visit Jackie in Rochdale...wow it has been such a hectic week off lol!

Anyway, the reason you're here...a card I made using my new Woodware stamp set I got off Mandi during her clearout...I think she still has some stuff for sale...bargain prices too!

I have simply filled the stamped holes with gems, glitter, peel-offs and raindrops. The ribbon is from my stash.

Challenges

Ok...best get ready for a dog walk! :)
Bye for now...

My Mum's Birthday card

Well hello there!
Yes, I know, I've been off for a while again! I have actually been crafting a bit this week and have 3 cards to show you, starting with this one. I've made this for my Mum's Birthday, which is a week on Monday, but I'm seeing her tomorrow so I shall give it to her then :)
I have used the Riviera Corner die from Memory Box, some Prima flowers, Martha Stewart butterflies and a brad and some pearls. The sentiment is computer generated.

Challenges

Ok...I'll be back in the morning with my Sketch Saturday card, and if I have time, maybe a Less Is More one as I missed this week's!
Night!

Sketch Saturday #229 with Simon Says Stamp!

Good morning and happy Saturday!
It's time for another sketch at Sketch Saturday, and we are sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp!

Our Sketch

My card

This is an 8x8 card for a lady who loves skiing, for here birthday, so I tried not to make it look Christmassy...I think the papers help with that! And they are some random papers Jen gave me so I don't know what they are I'm afraid. The image is a Digi Doodle one and she's coloured with Promarkers. I haven't done much colouring lately...not really sure why cos I really enjoyed colouring her and I'm really pleased with how she turned out, especially her hair!
I finished with a little Flowersoft, some glitter and some gems.

Challenges
Now...we'd love to see what you can come up with! :)

For a 90th Birthday

Good morning!
I hope you are well? I am here to share a 90th birthday card I made a few days ago.

I wanted to reflect a 90 year old lady's style, but also keep it fairly modern, and I think I've managed that. The papers are Pink Craftwork Cards, Vintage Rose and it's a Joy butterfly. I also added a strip of the paper to the inside for a little extra.

Very sparkly Christmas Tree

Good evening!
I have been out 'lunching' again at the Reebok Stadium today...very nice it was too! And again, lots of great business done! I shall be posting an awful lot of commission in the near future!

But for now, here is one I made for fun last week, and sold today!

Sorry about the pictures...I took about 30 trying to get the sparkle to show! This gorgeously elegant stamp is Christmas Tree Flourish  by Inkylicious. I stamped it in black, then used my fine nibbed Glitter Magic glue and lots of silver and purple glitter to make it sparkle. The sentiment came with the tree and the ribbon is from my stash.

Challenges

I better get a cup of tea and enjoy a chill out before I get making all these cards eh?! ;)
Night for now,

40th Birthday butterflies

Hellooo!
How has your weekend been? Mine has been unbelievably busy! I did well on my market on Saturday though! Plenty of cards and headbands sold, one calendar, and quite a few commissions ordered! So a successful day!
Here's how my stall was looking...
I was trying a new set-up, and I think it really worked! :)

Anyway, here is a commission card I have just made for a friend to give to his carer.
Wild Rose Studio Butterfly paper, Martha Stewart border punch, Stampin' Up! Labels die, computer generated sentiment and ribbon from my stash.

Challenges

Ok...time for bed I think...I'm shattered!

Less Is More - Silver

Good morning!
Oh my goodness! I am sat here listening to Lady Antebellum on Key 103...never would have thought it! Awesome! :))

Anyway, back to the real reason I'm here! This morning at Less Is More, Chrissie and Mandi have set us a lovely colour challenge...
SILVER
Very seasonal, don't you think? Well I did...

The stamp is Stampin' Up! Something For Christmas, stamped with Tempting Turquoise and FlitterGlu. I then sprinkled silver glitter over the baubles, and voila! I have to tell you...this FlitterGlu is AMAZING stuff! When it's dry, the glitter actually stays on the card! I finished with 3 gems, for sparkle and bling!

Challenges

Right I have a market to get to now...Bolton Fm will be there apparently so my mission is to get them to play Lady A too! ;)
Have a great World Cardmaking Day! :)

Sketch Saturday #228 with Little Claire

Good morning sketchers!
Oh and what a great day it is today, because it's
Much as I would love to be making cards all day today, I shall in fact (hopefully) be selling them on my stall!

Anyway, it's time for our new sketch over at Sketch Saturday and this week we are sponsored by the fabby Little Claire Designs!

So here is Donna's fab sketch!

And my little card, which was actually made for a commission too...

Obviously, this is a Lili Of The Valley stamp, coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Pink Petticoat and a Crafts Too embossing folder finishes it.

Challenges

I hope you manage to get lots of crafting done today...enjoy!

Butterfly Sympathy

Hello!
Hope you are well?
This is a card I made last night, whist trying to use up some bits on my desk...
Sympathy cards are never nice to have to make, and even worse to give, but I have to have them in stock. I like to keep them very simple and understated...I think this is definitely that!
I used a Marianne Embossing Folder, and I think the butterfly is too. The sentiment is Papermania stamped in Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum.

Challenges

Well...I am now going to chill in front of the TV and make some Alice bands for my stalls this week!
Night!
