Manly Birthday!

Good morning!
Are you ready for another challenge? Good because we have a new colour challenge at CAS - Colours and Sketches!

I will admit to struggling with this one a bit, not because I don't like the colour combo because I do! It's because it was such a lovely day when I made this that I wanted to craft in colour, though as I post this the weather is definitely a little grey!

I have used Basic Gray DSP from the Neutrals collection, the Dictionary Background stamped in Smoky Slate, and the sentiment from Label Love stamped in Basic Black and Basic Gray.

I used the Artisan Label and Decorative Label punches to give interest to the sentiment. I used the sketch at Fab Friday for inspiration.

I have a quick, clean card for you today...

I have made this card using a scrap of Basic Black Designer Series Paper and created the smaller using the fabulous FREE Sale-a-Bration Banner Blast stamps and matching punch.

The sentiment is from Hello Lovely and I stamped it in Strawberry Slush and Old Olive. I finished with three matching Candy Dots.

Shabby Chic shopping!

Hello all!
It is my turn to host this month's challenges at CAS - Colours and Sketches, and this week our first challenge is a colour challenge.

I was inspired by my chest of drawers that I rescued and gave a bit of love to!

These colours really make me think of shabby chic so that is what I went for in my project...

I used an old doily from my stash and rubbed it with some Soft Suede. The Soft Sky Core'dinations cardstock was embossed with Pretty Print EF and rubbed with Soft Suede.

I used a matt of Designer Paper from the Neutrals stack and finished with some Soft Sky seam binding.

Supplies
Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Core'dinations
Designer Paper - Neutrals
Embossing - Pretty Print
Ribbon - Sof Sky seam binding

You can buy all these products from my online store by clicking on the link in my sidebar.

I hope you have a lovely day!

Simply Sketched

Hello all!
I would like to give a warm welcome to my 2 newest followers - Oma and Chris. I hope you find lots of inspiration here! :)

I didn't have time to do much crafting last night (too much ironing) so I am going to show you a card I made for our weekly challenge at Sketch Saturday...

I have used the lovely Simply Sketched stamp set here, which is only available as a hostess reward, but if you read on, I'll tell you a way you could get it without spending £150 on your own!

The paper is from the new Neutrals Designer Series Paper stack. I love these!

So, how to get hostess benefits the easy way...

I have a Virtual Hostess code that you can use when you place your order, valid for one week only, but after that week, I will draw one of you lovely customers to be the hostess and earn all the freebies, including the EXCLUSIVE hostess items! The more orders I get, the more hostess benefits!

So this week's code is

MAXYUMSP

Simply enter the code at checkout in my store (make sure my name is in the top right corner) and you will be entered to be the hostess for the week! The code is valid until midnight next Friday 13th September, so get in there and don't miss out!!

Right...off to work! Have a great day! :)

A Happy Couple

Hi there!
Well, here is the last of the wedding cards for now...I love getting these commissions...to know that is years to come the happy couple will look through their memory box from their wedding and find this card again...I hope they love it!

This one is, again, using some of the retired products, but although they are retired, they are definitely not out of date!

Challenges

Hopefully I will be back tomorrow!
Have a lovely day :)

Marry me!

Hello!
Here is another one of the commission cards I've been working on...

This is almost entirely made from retired SU! products....I bet you have some that need using up too? The only current item is the Apothecary Accent Framelit I used to cut the sentiment!

A short and sweet post from me today...I hope to be somewhat back to normal next week!

Happy (Fri) Day! :)

Hello hello!
Well...it seems I have another 2 followers to welcome! A big shout out to Susanne and Aisleen...welcome and I hope you find inspiration here...that's what I'm here for! :)

Ok, I have a rather 'Slushy' card for you today, as I promised yesterday, but not slushy in the way you think!
(unless you were thinking Strawberry Slush!)

Hmmmm.....lots of colour here! I really do love this brand new colour and I wanted to have a play with it! It's kind of a 'tweeny' colour... 'tween pink and red.
I stamped my flower from the soon to be available Happy Day set several times before re-inking to create the background, and I used some Basic Black Designer Paper (soon to be retired) and Taffeta Ribbon (also retiring). The swirl is from Flowering Flourishes, stamped in Basic Black and I finished with a fussy cut Flower and a sentiment from Happy Day, and some gems.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Flowering Flourishes, Happy Day
Ink - Basic Black, Strawberry Slush
Designer Series Paper - Neutrals
Ribbon - Basic Black Taffeta

please don't forget to place your order before it is too late!

I have work today, then I have the weekend off with my little man...can't wait! I love spending the weekends with him... I don't get to all that often so it's gonna be fab! :)

See you tomorrow for LIM Saturday! :)

A Little Robbie & a Card

Good morning!
I am a little tired this morning after a really good night last night...more on that shortly!

For now, here is a card made using an image I had lying on my desk, left from when I made the large Father's Day order...

I had tried 'stamping off' this image to see how it looked; it's much softer than the pure black silhouette look, don't you think? The sentiment is from Petite Pairs but I re-arranged the layout to fit my panel better.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Designer Series Paper - Neutrals
Stamps - Serene Silhouettes, Petite Pairs
Ink - Basic Black, Basic Gray
Other - Whisper White Baker's Twine

So...
Wow! What a show we were at last night! Robbie sure does know how to put on a show! And Olly was just fab too...he is a real entertainer. Robbie said that Olly is his successor and while I thought that was very big headed, I do believe he could be right!

Here is one pic from the night...

I will post some more pics later today, when I have sorted them out!
Bye for now!

As you know, I was at a wedding on Saturday. Well here is a photo I rather liked of me and my very handsome little man Keiran

After the happy couple said their vows, I told Keiran that they're married now and he whispered 'Will they live together now then?' Awwww bless him!

Anyway, time for work...see you tomorrow! :)
