Sneak Peak of new In Colours and Happy 6th Birthday Sketch Saturday!

It's a very special day today! Sketch Saturday is 6 years old this week! Wow! I can't remember a time where I wasn't either entering the challenges, or on the DT!

Happy 6th Birthday!!

To celebrate we have a blog hop with secret prizes along the way!
If you have come to me from Lesley, then welcome! If not, you may want to go back to Alex at the beginning to follow the hop from there.

So we do also have a sketch challenge for you too...but it's your choice! You can use any sketch from #215-#311. I used #280

So here is my card, and I'm using some sneak peek new In Colour products! Yes you heard right....SNEAK PEEK!!!

I'm showing you 3 of the new colours...Tangelo Twist, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey...not only do they sound yummy, but don't they look it too?!

The stamps I have used are both on the retiring list...Simply Stars and Express Yourself. You can see the whole retiring list by clicking on the link on the right.

So now it's time for you to continue with the blog hop and head over to Marzena's blog to see what she has created with our sketch!

Enjoy the hop and we look forward to seeing your creations!

Simply Stars

Good morning peeps!
It's time for a new sketch at Sketch Saturday and this one is on of Jen's sketches.

Here is the card I made for my brother's birthday using the sketch...

I used the fab Simply Stars stamp set and stamped it in Cajun Craze, Island Indigo and Bravo Burgundy.

The sentiment was created on MDS.

I wonder what you will create?

Simply Simple Stars

Hello everyone! Are you ready for a new challenge? Today over at CAS - Colours and Sketches we have a lovely fresh colour combo for you!

I felt these colours deserved a true clean style, so here it is...

This is one of the simplest cards I've made for a while! Quite simply, I stamped 3 stars using the three challenge colours and cut them out. Then I used my Stamp-a-Majig to perfect place my sentiment and mounted the panel onto Calypso Coral, then a Pool Party card blank.

I'm entering my card into the Clean & Simple challenge this week.

Transformed notebooks

Hello!
I have a few school fairs coming up in the next couple of months so I have decided to branch out a little in items for my stall. Not everyone wants/needs cards, so I feel it's time I offered something else...see what you think of these...

I found these lovely little pads in Wilkinsons and just knew they were ripe for transformation! And the best thing? They only took about half an hour for all 3! So I am now experimenting with bigger ones, which I will show when they are done :)

Supplies
Cardstock - Naturals White, Whisper White
Stamps - Motorcycle (from MDS), Simply Stars, Express Yourself, Summer Silhouettes, Morning Post
Ink - Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Old Olive, Raspberry Ripple, Island Indigo
Other - Season of Style Washi, This 'n That Washi

If you would like to purchase any of these products, or anything else for that matter, you can do so using the link in my sidebar.

I hope the storm didn't cause too much damage where you are yesterday. We were lucky to have the winds bypass us in Bolton...just a lot of rain.

Have a lovely Tuesday...see you tomorrow!
