Stylish Star

Good morning!
This week at Less Is More, Chrissie and Mandi have come up with a sketch...

The stamp is Stylish Star by SU! and I used silver Encore ink...the best metallic inks in my opinion! I mounted it onto some gorgeous deep red mirror card. The embossing folder is unknown though, sorry. I mounted the star panel slightly raised for interest. I do plan on adding a sentiment but I seem to have very few small Christmas ones...so that will be my next purchase I should think!

Ok...off crafting with Jen and then to see Skyfall! And in between, a couple of walks with Seth! :)
Bye and have a lovely Saturday!

Golden Wedding

Good evening!
I got an order for a 50th wedding anniversary last Saturday, so I have spent the last 4 hours or so making it! And here it is....

The picture is the happy couple's wedding picture, which I photographed, as I find it clearer than photocopying.
The background paper is Pink Petticoat, mounted on gold Mirri, and I distressed the edges with Tim Holz Vintage Photo. I cut the letters and the number 50 with my Craft Robo (not used it in ages!) The ivy is Marianne, Martha Stewart butterflies, ribbon, lace and flowers and doily are from my stash. I have also decorated the inside......
Sorry it's sideways...it's not on my laptop but for some reason it's rotating itself when I insert it in here! The inside has some wording about the wedding day, and a copy of the wedding breakfast menu.
All this has been compiled on an A4 scalloped card blank. Not sure where from...Jen gave them me ages ago!

Challenges
The Sweet Stop - #143 (I hope I haven't taken the sketch too far...)

Ok time to chill and catch up on Stella and Take Me Out! ;)

Merry Christmas

Here is my second card for today......

I have stamped the Inkadinkado tree in silver Encore, then heat embossed it. The sentiment is cut from an acetate sheet and the embossed panels are a Sizzix folder. The silver Mirri just gives it a little class, I think!

Bear Cracker

Hey everyone!
Well I am exhausted today as I spent all night up with Keiran after he was sick and developed a high temperature this time yesterday. And just when he seemed to be brightening up, he got a high temp again today :(  So our 'Christmas Day' yesterday wasn't as good as I'd hoped for.
Anyway, he is cuddled up with me now so I am taking 5 mins to blog another card.
This is the card I made for my lovely Nephew Callum......

Lili of TheValley image, Promarkers,Pink Petticoat papers and purple Mirri card. Finished with purple and gold glitter. I have actually personalised this card before I gave it, but I didn't enter it here as it wouldn't go with the sketch!
Challenges......
Thanks for looking....I hope to have a better night's sleep tonight lol!

Lots Of Sparkle! - Ooh La La Challenge #94

Good Morning all!
I have had such a busy weekend, and another busy week coming up too! I'm going to see Bryan Adams on Wednesday at the MEN so I have a few fans staying with me for a few days so may not get too much crafting done...though I really need to as I have my last market before Christmas on Saturday!
Anyway, a Little late but here is my DT card for Ooh La La this week where the challenge is
LOTS OF SPARKLE!!
Perfect and pretty easy for this time of year, don't you think?!

My image is off Quick Makes For Christmas and so is the solid blue paper......the text paper is a DCW one from Jen's stash! I just matted each onto sliver mirri card, added lots of glitter and finished with my new Star Of Wonder die from Memory Box....they are my new favourite dies company!!

Challenges

Thanks for looking everyone! :)

Ooh La La - Dies and/or punches

Good morning!
Well it's challenge #89 at Ooh La La Creations and this week the theme is
DIE CUTS and/or PUNCHES
Here is my DT card......

This is from the Quick Makes For Christmas cd and I have deliberately kept it fairly simple as it is primarily a male card. There's no glitter, and the only ribbon is quite manly! The tree and double layered snowflake are both Marianne and I have just used black mirri board as a mount, and on the bottom of the card.
I can't wait to see all your fab creations! :)

To the moon!

Hello!
Here is my 4th DT card for Crafting For All Seasons, where our theme this week is Red, White & Blue. We had loads of fab entries into our Summer challenge last week, thank you to you all for making it very difficult to choose our top 3 again!

Yeah I know, there are lots of photos lol! It's because I am trying to show that the rocket is attached with an acetate strip so it sort of 'flies' on the card! We are sponsored, this fortnight, by 2 Cute Stamps and this little fella is called 'To The Moon'. 2 Cute Stamps have very kindly offered 2 rubber or 3 digi stamps to the winner!

I coloured my image with Promarkers and cut him out. I attached a strip of folded acetate to the back of the image using tape. I embossed the blue panel and added glitter and stars to highlight it (who says boys don't like glitter?!) I matted the coloured panels onto silver Mirri and added my little rocket man and the moon, which is a Google image. I finished by adding glossy accents to the window and the masks.

Hope you like it!
I am entering this into the following challenges......
Stamping Scrapping Central - Red, White and Blue
Cards For Men - Stars
Craft Your Passion - Use Red
2 Cute Rubber Stamps - Red, White and Blue

Can't wait to see what you all come up with this week! :)

TTFN!
