A batch of Christmas cards

Good evening!
Have you been (un)lucky enough to have had some snow where you are? We haven't...bit miffed actually as I love it when it snows! Oh well...it'll be here soon enough I'm sure!

Anyway, I had an order for a batch of 25 cards for a customer and so I wanted something fairly simple and easy, but not too simple. So here is what I came up with, thanks to Jen for lending me the stamp!

The stamp is from Lili of The Valley and I coloured it with Crumb Cake, Riding Hood Red, Gumball Green and Basic Black Stampin' Up! markers. It's the first time I have used them to colour an image in as I usually use alcohol markers. To get the patches on the cute little fella I coloured the entire dog with Crumb Cake, then when it dried I coloured some patches in with the same colour. All my shading has been done in this way. The DP is from a Forever Friends set. I finished with a mini Woodware holly punch and some Liquid Pearls for berries.
I didn't have room to photograph all 25 cards, so here are 10 of them!

Sparkle and (lots of) Bling for Christmas!

Good afternoon!
It's gorgeous here today! Even got my washing out!
We had a lovely day in Lytham yesterday with my friend Elaine, walking our holiday doggy and enjoying the fine weather, and we even came back through Blackpool Illuminations, listening to the Train gig on Radio 2...a very pleasant day! Today, we are going to visit Jackie in Rochdale...wow it has been such a hectic week off lol!

Anyway, the reason you're here...a card I made using my new Woodware stamp set I got off Mandi during her clearout...I think she still has some stuff for sale...bargain prices too!

I have simply filled the stamped holes with gems, glitter, peel-offs and raindrops. The ribbon is from my stash.

Challenges

Ok...best get ready for a dog walk! :)
Bye for now...

Simply Stamped Wedding card

Good evening!
I opened my laptop to reply to an email tonight, and a sketch from Simply Stamping Challenges popped up at me...I'd had the page open thinking 'I really must get around to making a card for that as I love the sketch'! So here it is :)

I borrowed this Stampin' Up! set from Jen at the weekend...it's called Love & Laughter. I stamped the cake with Emboss clear, then embossed with Seafoam WOW EP. The border punch is Woodware Lever Ribbon Heart and the sentiment is from the same stamp set. I finished with a few gems from my stash. I think this sketch really lent itself well to this card design!
That's it from me tonight...gonna go make a cuppa now I think :)
Goodnight!

Be My Valentine - Ooh La La

Good morning all!
How are we? Still plenty of snow around?
Thanks to the snow, my weekend plans went a bit awry and I ended up spending the time I wasn't working, in my craft room! Oh dear, never mind lol!

Anyway, it's time for another challenge at Ooh La La and this time it is
Be My Valentine!
Here is my offering...

The swirly design paper is from Watercolour Memories and the gorgeous, lush pink is from my stash. I coloured Card Candi with SU   Melon Mambo marker and the border punch is from Woodware. The ribbons are from my stash and the sentiment is from the pc.

So come on over to Ooh La La and show us what you've got! :)

Hello Grandma!

Good morning all!
Yes I am up very bright and early this morning! I have had a lovely weekend away visiting York, Wetherby and Knaresborough and doing a lot of walking! But now I'm back and back to work this morning at 8am!
But here is a card I had to make very quickly last night for a lady who is coming into work this morning to pick it up. It is to announce her pregnancy to the Grandma-to-be!
The image was one I found online from My Grafico and I thought it was cute! I coloured it with Promarkers then cut it out and layered it onto a white square. The text says 'hello Grandma!' and the yellow gingham paper is from Pink Petticoat. The little feet are punched using a border punch. Woodware I think.
I'm entering this into the The Sweet Stop - Sketch #121 Challenge.
Thanks for looking! :)

Rugby Boy

This is my other entry for this week's LOTV Thursday Challenge.
The paper is Bloom & Grow, and the leafy 'ribbon' is lots of punched out '1in Ash' from Woodware. The little boy is, as usual, coloured with Promarkers and the greeting is hand written (and I think I'm going to change it to 'nice TRY!').
Promarkers
Rugby shirt, socks & shorts: Cardinal Red, Shale, Pumpkin, Gold, Cool Grey 5 (for the smudges of dirt)
Grass: Holly, Pear Green
Shoes: Black, Cool Grey5, Cool Grey2
Ball: Pear Green, Cool Grey2
Hair: Tan, Putty
Skin: Putty, Satin

Thanks for looking! :)
