Anyone for Cricket?

Good morning!
I have a really quick card to show you today, which is for the One Layer challenge over at Less Is More this week

Sports or Excercise

Now this was tricky as one layer for me as it involves colouring directly onto my card blank...not something I am overly confident with! Anyhow, this is what I made, and I'm actually pleased with it!

I chose a simple(ish) image to colour so there was less to go wrong! It's a Lili of The Valley image coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I finished it using a piece of Card Candi for a cricket ball. I dotted gold pen in two lines for the stitching...looks cool doesn't it? The sentiment is from a fab set by Personal Impressions. I cut it out using my Stampin' Up! Word Window and attached it to some Whisper White baker's twine, also from SU!.

Ok...I have to go to work now, then the panto, then dinner out!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Good Morning!
I have been sat here making a card with dye on my hair this morning lol! I really wanted to enter the sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week, and so I decided to do it this morning. Unfortunately, the collection is closed! :( I thought it would close tomorrow or later today but no, it already is! Oh well...here is the card anyway....

I have used another gorgeous Pollycraft image from the Swings 'n Slides collection, and coloured with Promarkers. the papers are Back to Basics, and the ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions. The flowers are Prima.

So here are the challenges I am entering it into.....

Thanks for popping by today!

Christmas Heart - Less Is More

Hi again LIMettes!
I have another heart card to enter into the Less Is More Challenge this week......

Now this was Jen's idea so I have to give her credit, but I did all the designing and crafting lol! I cut a heart mask with a Nestabilities die then used a new set of Wild Rose Studio snowflake stamps and stamped them in Embossing ink, which I then sprinkled with Personal Impressions Pastel Lilac embossing powder. The sentiment is from my Kanban Autumn Silhouettes set and embossed the same way. I finished with 3 purple gems.
Hope you like it! :)
