A little love...

Hello everyone!
How have you all been?? I know you're probably reeling with shock at seeing me blog since it's been such a while! I have had a lot of family difficulties over the last few weeks and had a lot to deal with, but I think I am slowly getting back on track now, so I thought I would share a card I made on Sunday...it was originally made for a commission but I loved it so much I made a similar version for my stall stash!

This is a wedding card and I used some printed vellum I've had in my stash for years...I think it looks gorgeous with the Real Red hearts underneath, don't you?

I added some of the beautiful Whisper White Organza Ribbon and a few Rhinestone Basics Jewels and there we have a classy and elegant wedding card!

I am entering this into the challenge at Less Is More, which has the theme 'Congratulations' this week, and also CAS on Sunday where the challenge is to use Vellum.

I hope to be back again very soon...have a lovely Tuesday! :)

A one layer Festival of Tree!

Hello again!
Here is another of the lovely Christmas cards I made last week...this one is truly simple!

This is another aperture card...I think they offer a lot of interest without too much fuss, don't you? Again, see how the light shine's through, just like yesterday's card?

I began by die cutting the tree shape using the die from the Snowflake Card Thinlits. The Magnetic platform for the Bigshot made sure my little tree stayed in position whilst I die cut it...I don't know how I managed before I got mine!

then I carefully, and very lightly, drew through the aperture the outline of the tree. This was my guide for stamping one of the trees from the Festival of Trees stamps on the inside of the card.

I then simply line up the stamp inside the pencil lines and stamped my Pear Pizzazz tree, which was easy as they are Photopolymer so I could see exactly where I was stamping. The sentiment is from the Good Greetings stamp set and I used my Stamp-a-ma-Jig to perfectly place that. I finished with a few tiny nail art gems.

The Good Greetings stamp set is an exclusive set, available FREE, only if you place an order of £200 or more. You can either place a lovely yummy order yourself, get friends and family to combine an order with you, or host a party and if the sales reach £200, you will receive the set FREE!

Please contact me for more information on this fabulous offer!

Stippled Blossoms bringing sunshine

Hi, hi, hi everyone!
I hope your weekend is going well? I have so far spent it working, crafting, getting Keiran through a tricky level of Skylanders and catching up on 3 episodes of Nashville! And work tomorrow!

For now though, let me show you one of the things I made last night...

This is a frame I have made for Keiran's Nanna and Grandad for their wedding anniversary on Tuesday. They are two very cheerful and fun people and they help me so much with looking after Keirna so I can work both on my job and my Stampin' Up business, so this sentiment is perfect for them! They have recently had their living room decorated so I took inspiration from this for the frame.

I used Feel Goods and Stippled Blossoms, teamed with the leaves from Secret Garden and Summer Silhouettes which were stamped in Sahara Sand. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red and heat embossed it in clear Stampin' Emboss powder. I finished with Real Red Candy Dots.

Here is a picture of their living room to show you where the inspiration came from.

That wallpaper is practically Stippled Blossoms isn't it?

Simply Sketched 'En Francais'

Hello, hello!
How are you all today? I'm here with my DT card for CAS - Colours and Sketches, and this week we are working from a sketch...

When I started this card, I didn't really know where it was going, but then it all seemed to come together, and now I love it!

I have used a Bermuda Bay and Real Red colour combo, inspired by a birthday card I was given by Jen back in February. The stamps I used are the gorgeous hostess set Simply Sketched, En Francais and the extremely popular Petite Petals.

I punched some corners for interest and added pearls, and punched out the flowers with the the Petite Petal punch and again added a pearl.

On Monday Keiran had a visit to the farm and was so lucky to see 2 lambs being born! You're expecting a cute picture right? Hmmmm not quite!

This is his drawing of the event...the sheep is being held down by the lady (top) so it doesn't run away, and the man (to the left) has his hand up it's bum, apparently! He really made me chuckle bless him!

Anyway...get those cards made and entered into our challenge (please!)

My Superhero!

I am so late in entering the Less is More challenge this week! Still, better late than never right?

So here is my entry into the Masculine themed challenge...

This is another new set I recently bought...it's super great for kids' cards!

After I stamped the little fella in Baked Brown Sugar, I coloured in his cape and boots in Real Red and Pacific Blue. The sentiment was fussy cut and mounted on Dimensionals and I paper pierced the image panel to give some added interest.

I had my cards placed into a little shop in our new market yesterday! I'm only starting with new baby and christening/baptism card for now, but it's a start and I'm very excited about it! So I shall have to make plenty more now to have on my regular church stall!

Have a lovely Friday...make the most of it with your little ones...back to school next week!
