A Thank You Shaker for a lovely lady!

Hi everyone!
How are you all?
I have been soooo busy over the last year, and I wanted to share with you what I've been doing that has kept me from crafting and blogging so much.
Since February last year I have been studying. Yep, studying! And it's finally over, for now! In the last 12 months I have qualified at Level 2; Fitness Instructor, Level 3; Personal Trainer, Level 3; Exercise Referral Specialist and Level 4; Obesity & Diabetes Exercise Specialist. This has all been going on whilst I have been working, being Mum and struggling with some personal issues, so it has left little time for crafting or blogging!

But I'm hoping life will settle down somewhat now, and I can get back to enjoying some crafty time!

So first, I have a shaker card to show you, that I made for a very special lady, Caroline Hallett (Crafty Hallett). She found out how much I had been struggling, and sent me a really generous package of goodies, and a gorgeous card!

Part of my parcel was the already prepared frame and the Window Sheet, which is what led me to make a shaker card. I glued the Window Sheet to the back of the frame, added some sequins, then, after stamping the sentiment from One Big Meaning, I used some of the new Foam Adhesive Tape to attach the frame to the card blank.

I finished with some die cut flowers from Botanical Builder Framelits, inked with Sweet Sugarplum, and sequins and Glimmer Paper added for essential sparkle!

I hope you like my card, and hope to see you again soon! :)

Pinkies 2016 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous
projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons
at the end of each post to keep hopping!

Hello and welcome to my little blog, and my project showcasing some of the new products from our brand new Annual Catalogue!

I absolutely love this Love You Lots stamp set, as you probably know by now! It is one of the new hostess sets which you can earn for free with any order/workshop or party of £150 or more! I have used 2 of the lush new In Colours, Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach, as I think the look fab together, don't you??

So, the card first...

I have stamped the little cuties in Tip Top Taupe, then stamped 2 balloons from Balloon Celebration in the In Colors before punching them out with the co-ordinating balloon punch. I then stamped 2 strings from the set and popped the balloons up on Dimensionals.

And now to the jar...which is full of Peekaboo Peach candles!

See? Told you they match! And they are peach fragranced too!
I first of all embossed the Peekaboo Peach card with the Woodgrain EF, then stamped the sentiment from Layering Love in matching ink. The butterfly is from Papillon Potpourri (so glad it hasn't retired!). I then wrapped some gorgeous Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon around the neck of the jar to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my creations, and now it's time to pop on over to Fiona's blog to see what she has come up with!

Happy hopping!
