A manly notebook...

Good morning!
I had a play with my brand new Blendabilities last night, but I didn't get chance to make it into anything so watch this space!

For now, here is a notebook I made just before the new catalogue came out...

I used a piece of the This 'n That DSP and stuck it front and back. I then randomly stamped cogs from Clockworks all over it in Basic Gray.

The bookplate was Jen's idea...I die cut 2 of the shapes from the Apothecary Accents and cut our the middle. I then heat embossed the top one by pressing it into Versamark and covering with Pewter Stampin' Emboss. I added 2 tiny brads and stuck it down using Dimensionals on the bottom and sides only. 'Notes' was stamped using the Simply Serif Alphabet onto Crumb cake, then slipped inside the frame from the top, so it can be removed and changed, if wished.

I loved making this and I'm very chuffed with it! Man things can be so hard to make can't they?!

So back to the Blendabilities...come back over the weekend and see what I eventually made with this...

A diary for Dad!

Hello!
Do you remember those pretty girlie diaries I made for my girl friends? Well, here is a man version for my Dad!

I have used a retired stamp set for this but the DSP and the embossing folder are current, as is the Chevron Ribbon and the Linen Thread.

The embossing folder is The Square Lattice EF and the paper is from the This 'n That collection.

Ok, so as Keiran is going to his Dad's at 2pm Christmas Day,  Christmas Eve is where all my family celebrations will be starting! We are having Christmas dinner today, then it's presents on Christmas day. So I may be MIA for a couple of days. You have a wonderful Christmas, and I can't wait to catch up with you all after Christmas!
