Time to celebrate!!

Good morning everyone!
Well wow! What a fantastic day I had for my birthday yesterday! Mike put so much effort into making it so perfect for me...I really can't tell you just how wonderful it was...thank you so much Mike! I also got so many lovely birthday messages...I really do feel blessed!

So today, here is a card I made a couple of days ago, using my free Blendabilites! How did I get them free?? I'll tell you at the end!

The stamp set I used here is In This Together and is perfect for colouring with my beloved Blendies! After I coloured her, I fussy cut my lady out and popped her on Dimensionals onto my paper pierced panel. I used the Paper Piercing Essentials Pack for this.

The sentiment is actually below the image on the stamp but I stamped it separately so I could pop it on the side, which fits in with the current sketch challenge over at Atlantic Hearts Challenges...

So how did I get the Blendies for free?? I spent £45 on Stampin' Up! products, and chose them free from the Sale-A-Bration brochure! How brilliant is that?? If you would like to get yours free too, simply contact me, or place your order through one of the links over there on the right >>>>

I'm having a relaxing day today with a bit of shopping and dinner out this evening...I hope you're having a wonderful Friday!

It's not too late to Get Your Santa On!

Hello everyone, and a VERY happy, healthy and crafty 2015 to you!

I have been missing for a while as life has been so ridiculously busy! I have managed to fit a little crafting in, but to be honest, I have been concentrating on enjoying Christmas and new year with my nearest and dearest, as I'm sure you all have too!

But, things are settling down a bit now, so hopefully, I will have more time to get back to blogging!

Today I am going to show you the card I made for Keiran for Christmas...all kids should have Santa on their cards right??

Well of course, Keiran loves Santa, and he still very much believes in him, so he loved this card! I used the Get Your Santa On stamp set and stamped him twice, once onto my card panel and once onto another piece of Whisper White card. I coloured the second with my Blendies and fussy cut him out.

I also created my own backgrounds by using some of the smaller stamps from the set and stamping them repeatedly over the panels.

Before I popped him over the first image using Dimensionals, I carefully placed the letters from Little Letters Thinlits under Santa and ran it through the Bigshot. I really like the effect of using the negative lettering, don't you?

Now I know that Christmas is over, but if you don't have this set, it's not too late to pick it up...it is still available in my online shop, along with all the other fabulous Autumn/Winter products, until 5th January...don't miss out!

Over the next few days there will be lots of exciting things happening with Stampin' Up! I can't wait!! Stay tuned for more info!

Gorgeous Grosgrain and joining offer!

Good morning!

I have exciting news about a joining promotion to tell you about that started today...more about that at the end!

I am here again with another candle I decorated for my stall on Saturday. This time I have used all current products...

I used the gorgeous, and very Christmassy, Cherry Cobbler Striped Grosgrain ribbon, I wrapped the ribbon with Linen Thread, then added a wooden snowflake from my stash, and finished with a Basic Rhinestone which I coloured with my Cherry Cobbler Blendie.

I do love how this ribbon works so well on the candles...I'm hoping they will be big sellers on Saturday!

So, about that joining promotion....

Just for one week only, from 25th November until 2nd December, you can join for just £74.25!! You still get the same fantastic joining kit; comprising catalogues, order forms and workshop invitations, PLUS £130 worth of products of your choosing!!

A pretty card for a pretty little girl's 1st birthday

Good morning!
I'm here with my DT card for this week's challenge at CAS-Colours and Sketches, and this week it's sketch week. So here is my sketch...

I decided to use the sketch to make a card for my friend's little girl's 1st birthday, which is actually today!

I embossed a strip of hearts across my card using an old embossing folder, then added a piece of gorgeous Pink Pirouette Two Tone Ribbon, which is in the clearance rack for only £2.49!! (5 yards!)

I added a punched shape from the Label Bracket Punch, then added a die cut number out of Pink Pirouette Glimmer Paper. Wait....we don't do pink Glimmer Paper do we?? Well ok....I cheated a little...I added a few drops of Pink Pirouette ink to an alcohol spritzer then spritzed the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper! Isn't it gorgeous??  I finished with a sentiment from Remembering Your Birthday and a few pearls coloured with the lightest Rich Razzleberry Blendie.

If you would like to order any of these products, please do contact me, or use the link to my online shop, just over there >>>>

I'm looking forward to seeing your entries this week...enjoy our challenge!

A different stamping technique...Using Blendabilities!

Hi guys!
How's your week going so far? I hope you've had plenty of time to craft! I have...I have been making some things, other than cards, and today I have something a little different to show you...

I have altered a mirror that I bought at the weekend...I wanted to try something different! The thing was, I wanted to stamp on the frame of my mirror, but I only have black Stazon and the Stampin' Up! coloured inks are water based, so wouldn't dry on this surface. So I got on Ebay to see about getting some different coloured Stazon, but I didn't like the colours...they just weren't the same as our gorgeous colours!

Then I remembered a technique I used to use with my Promarkers, way back in my early days of crafting. So I tried it with my Blendabilities! Basically, I coloured the swirl stamp from Everything Eleanor with my medium Rich Razzelberry Blendabilities pen. Now, you have to work quite fast, and build up the colour a bit so the ink doesn't dry straight away, but it works! I stamped straight onto my frame and the ink is colourfast! How to clean the stamp? Just use Stazon Cleaner straight away!

I then added some butterflies from my favourite Papillon Potpourri, stamped in Rich Razzelberry onto Vellum Cardstock, and a few Basic Pearls Jewel Accents to finish. I love how this cam out, and now I know that I can stamp with my beloved Blendies, I will be doing it more often!!

I am heading to the gym now, if I can move when I get there...my legs are still stiff as a board from Monday's workout!

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Endless Wishes for Christmas

Hiya peeps!
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my newest follower Kim...I hope you enjoy my blog and get lots of inspiration from it! :)

I'm back with a cute and simple Christmas card today. I recently got a pack of All Is Calm DSP, and wow! It is stunning! It is a gorgeous soft combo of Pistachio Pudding, Lost Lagoon and Smoky Slate...beautiful! So here is a tiny little bit of it...

See...isn't it lovely?! The sentiment is from Endless Wishes and stamped in Lost Lagoon and Pistachio Pudding. As they are Photopolymer stamps, it was really easy to line up these two separate words!

For the topper I die cut both snowflakes from Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper using the Snowflake Card Thinlit set. I added a Basic Rhinestone, which I coloured with the lightest Old Olive Blendie, just to make it stand out a little. Can you see how very super sparkly that Glimmer Paper is?? Love it very much!!

Here is what I used...
I used the lovely sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch as inspiration for my card :)

I have a lovely day of crafting and church planned today, then taking Keiran for his swimming lesson...happy Wednesday!

A Christmas star!

Good morning Sketchers!
It is my DT week over at Sketch Saturday this week, so not only have I designed our sketch, but I have also donated the prize!

This is what you could win!

So here is this week's sketch...

As you know, I like quite clean and simple cards, so the sketch, and my card, reflect that.

I used the lovely Bright & Beautiful stamp set and matching Stars Framelits, teamed with Champagne Glimmer Paper. That paper really is sparkly, honestly!

The word 'Noel' is die cut from the Wondrous Wreath Framelits set and finishes the card nicely I think. I inked the Cherry Cobbler cardstock with matching ink to give some depth. I finished by colouring a Basic Rhinestone with a Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities pen.

This card is actually just one part of a larger project I have made, the rest of which you can see here. It is a beautiful 3D hanging Christmas decoration and matching box using the same Bright & Beautiful bundle...it really is stunning so do go have a look...here is a little sneak peek!

Enjoy the sketch and I will see you tomorrow!

Stars of Joy

Good morning!
Well today life finally gets back to normal! Keiran goes back to school and routine will be restored! Hopefully that will mean I get to craft and blog more!

Today I want to show you something I made using the lovely Star Framelits and a die from the Wondrous Wreath framelits.

I embossed the Cherry Cobbler star with the new Lucky Stars Embossing folder, and added the Champagne Glimmer Paper star.

I added the Very Vanilla 'Joy', die cut from Wondrous Wreath and finished with a Basic Rhinestone, coloured with a Cherry Cobbler Blendie.

I love this colour combo...it's classic with a modern twist...lovely!

Have a lovely day today, and I'll be back tomorrow with a little gift I made for my fella Mike :)

A Blooming Birthday!

Good morning!
Ooops I'm a tiny bit late with my post for this week's CAS-Colours and Sketches challenge...I forgot today was Thursday!

Anyway, here I am and here is our challenge for this week...

This is not a colour combo I would normally think of, but once I used it I rather liked it!

I have used the lovely Flower Patch photopolymer stamps for all of this card...as they are clear as opposed to red rubber I get perfect placement all the time as I can see where I'm stamping!

The sentiment was coloured using two Stampin' Write Markers before stamping, and the flower was cut using the matching Flower Fair Framelits. I really love how the matching dies make crafting so much easier!
I finished with a Basic Rhinestone Jewel which I coloured using my Bronze pen from the Skin Tone set of Blendabilities. Oh yes, and I doodled a border too :)

I shall be back tomorrow with a card made using yet another sneak peek product from the Autumn/Winter catalogue! :)

I am now off to take Keiran to a gymnastic camp for him to have a go....he's so good at throwing himself around aimlessly that I think he'll quite enjoy doing it with some guidance!

Have a great Thursday and see you tomorrow :)

Snowflake Flip card!

Good morning!
I am continuing the Christmas theme this morning...do I here an 'oh no!!!' ? Haha well I have to get started sometime! ;)

For this card, I have used the fabby new Snowflake Card Thinlit Dies to make this wonderful flip card.

I embossed the right side of the card using the Festive Flurry EF, and added die cut words from the Framelit set. The sentiment in the middle is stamped onto a punched out Artisan Label, using the

The snowflakes are cut out of Silver Glimmer Paper, as are the words. I finished by colouring a gem using a Coastal Cabana Blendablilities...how amazing does it look??!!

I haven't entered any challenges for a while, so I am entering this into a couple....

I hope to show more samples from the Autumn/Winter catalogue this week! Enjoy your Wednesday!

Autumn/Winter Sneak Peek for Sketch Saturday!

Hello hello!
I am here, (a bit late, but better late than never!) with my Sketch Saturday DT card. And here's an exciting bit...I have made my card using a sneak peek stamp set! And it is a 'aherm' Christmas card!

Let's have a look shall we?

This gorgeous little Santa is from the brand new, not yet available, Get Your Santa On...isn't he cute?? I coloured him with my wonderful Blendabilities pens.

The DSP is a retired one from last year, Season of Style, but it is now available on MDS...yay!

I feel like Christmas is on it's way now, after the weather we have had today...stay safe all of you who are experiencing this awful weather!
See you tomorrow!

Exciting news!

Good morning everyone!
I have a little bit of exciting news! I won in the Friday Sketch Challenge a couple of weeks ago, and they asked me to be a GDT for this week's challenge!

I was given a digi image from FaeryInk so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get out my Blendabilities!

I really enjoyed colouring this sweet little couple in! The Blendies worked so well, and for the colours I didn't have I just used my Stampin' Write Markers...a great combo and did you know that they blend pretty well too?!

The shoes, jeans, jacket, heart and shadow were all coloured with Stampin' Writes! I printed the image onto Whisper White and both sets of pens worked well on it.

You can get your hands on the latest colours of Blendabilities through my online shop >>>>>>>
Or you can order them through me, if you prefer the personal touch!

I hope you can pop back tomorrow to see my Sketch Saturday DT card!
Bye for now!
