A Thank You Shaker for a lovely lady!

Hi everyone!
How are you all?
I have been soooo busy over the last year, and I wanted to share with you what I've been doing that has kept me from crafting and blogging so much.
Since February last year I have been studying. Yep, studying! And it's finally over, for now! In the last 12 months I have qualified at Level 2; Fitness Instructor, Level 3; Personal Trainer, Level 3; Exercise Referral Specialist and Level 4; Obesity & Diabetes Exercise Specialist. This has all been going on whilst I have been working, being Mum and struggling with some personal issues, so it has left little time for crafting or blogging!

But I'm hoping life will settle down somewhat now, and I can get back to enjoying some crafty time!

So first, I have a shaker card to show you, that I made for a very special lady, Caroline Hallett (Crafty Hallett). She found out how much I had been struggling, and sent me a really generous package of goodies, and a gorgeous card!

Part of my parcel was the already prepared frame and the Window Sheet, which is what led me to make a shaker card. I glued the Window Sheet to the back of the frame, added some sequins, then, after stamping the sentiment from One Big Meaning, I used some of the new Foam Adhesive Tape to attach the frame to the card blank.

I finished with some die cut flowers from Botanical Builder Framelits, inked with Sweet Sugarplum, and sequins and Glimmer Paper added for essential sparkle!

I hope you like my card, and hope to see you again soon! :)

I see a rainbow!

Hello all!
I'm here with my DT card for CAS-Colours and Sketches and this week we have a sketch for you...

I immediately thought of my Petite Petals set so I got to work and here's what I made...

I took the sketch quite literally and went for rainbow colours, just because I felt like it! I stamped the dots from Awesomely Artistic in Rose Red, stamping more than once before inking to give a softer effect. The flowers were stamped and I used the matching punch to cut them out.

The sentiment is from One Big Meaning...this is a great set for all those Thank You cards, and let's face it, we send lots right?!
The whole panel was then popped onto an A6 Rose Red card blank. Oh and I finished with a single pearl.

What will you do with our sketch I wonder?
