Sketch Saturday and Colouring Tutorial!

Hi happy crafters! I want to welcome my newest follower, Jane! It's lovely to have you as a follower of my little blog! :)

So here is today's fab sketch, designed by Cathy...

So as you know, I have a little obsession with a particular Designer paper...here it is again!

I have combined that gorgeous Springtime Vintage paper with Apothecary Art and oh my gosh...boy does it work! I punched the bottom edge using the Scallop Trim Border Punch.

I coloured the flowers in using my Stampin' Write Markers and a Blender Pen, then die cut the panel using the Labels Collection Framelits. I added a Very Vintage Designer Button and some Linen Thread to finish the card. 

I must admit that I have shied away from this set because of the colouring, but as I have discovered, it is very easy to do! In fact, so easy I have made a little video tutorial to show you just how easy!

Strawberry Slush Birthday for my Mum!

Hello!
First things first, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my newest follower, Sid. I hope you enjoy my blog! 

Did you all have a nice weekend? I was working for most of it, but I still managed to make this card, which is for my Mum's birthday tomorrow. (Don't worry, she doesn't look at my blog!)

I stamped the image in Smoky Slate then coloured the flowers and leaves with Primrose Petals and Old Olive. I stamped a second image panel and raised it up on the base image. The paper is Strawberry Slush from the In Colour 2013/15 DSP stack. I finished with Strawberry Slush Ruffle Stretch Ribbon and a little bit of bling.
