Happy 5th Birthday!

Well hello!
I know I'm super late with this as it should have been this morning, but it's for Sketch Saturday, and it is still Saturday isn't it? Well it is this side of the Atlantic! ;)

Anyway, this week we are sponsored by Bugaboo
And here is our fab sketch for this week

The image is, of course, from Lili Of The Valley, and is coloured with Promarkers. The papers are freebie Nitwit ones from Simply Homemade a few months ago. I finished with a little liquid pearls and glitter.

Ok, time for a glass of wine and a chill out!
Bye for now!

Sitting Pretty!

Good afternoon!
How are you all? I've been a little tired this week for some reason but I think I'm getting better now...

Ok so over at Crafting For All Seasons we have a new challenge and this fortnight it's

STITCHING (faux or real)

Our fabby sponsors this week are

Meljen's Designs :: Digital Stamps by Melissa Jenkins

The Stamping Boutique

Now I don't have a sewing machine 'sew' mine is definitely faux!

I've called this post 'Sitting Pretty' and can't you just see why??She is adorable and is from The Greetings Farm and I have coloured her with Promarkers and Polychromo pencils and Sansodor to give some depth to her hair and dress. The papers are all Nitwit freebies from an old issue of Simply Homemade. I actually chose the papers and basically put the card together before colouring her which I found works really well! The stitching was 'drawn' using Old Olive and Regal Rose Stampin' Up! markers.

Less Is More - Tearing

Good morning LIMettes!
I've missed you! I've not entered the challenge for a couple of weeks as I just haven't been feeling very inspired at all. Just generally, no mojo unless I really have to have it, like for a DT card or a commission. Even visiting Jen last night didn't help very much....I had been hoping I'd left my mojo there the last time I visited but, no.

However, I have made a card this morning, for Less Is More's Tearing challenge, so tell me what you think :)

This was made entirely using free Nitwit papers and stamp from an old issue of Simply Homemade. The only non freebie I used was Old Olive Stampin' Up! marker for the stamp and the stitching.
Ok, work, gym and bowling....another busy day!
Have a fab Saturday...looks like it could be a sunny one!

Sew.....it's Saturday!

Good morning LIMettes!
Well, after a non-crafty week, I think my mojo is, surprisingly, still hanging around!
This morning at Less Is More, Chrissie and Mandi have come up with the them of
SEWING
and it can be real, faux, or just sewing related cards.
So here is my little offering before work...

The super cute image is a freebie Nitwit one that came with Simply Homemade a few months ago. Now I have used 2 techniques I have never used this morning...colouring on Kraft, and colouring with Stampin Up! markers! And although the colouring isn't up to my usual standard, I do actually quite like it! I deliberately left the stitching 'unfinished' so it looked like a work in progress.

Ok....I see the sun is shining for a change, so after work, the gym, and doing my washing, I may get out in the garden later!
Have a lovely Saturday!

Rockin' Out!

Good evening!
Here is a card made using a Stamping Boutique image that I have had coloured for a ridiculously long time...like since before Christmas!
 Inside and side views
This rockin' fella is Max, and obviously he's coloured with Promarkers (what else lol?!) The papers are my new download from Nitwit - Tour London...they are fab! :) The music notes are from Die-Namics, Baker's Twine from The Ribbon girl and cd from my stash.

Nice to see you pop by...thanks for looking :)

Sail away, Sail away, Sail Away

Good evening bloggers, and a special welcome to my newest followers! I hope you enjoy my wafflings and crafty bits! :)
Here is a card I made this evening, while Keiran had half an hour to himself. We went to the park after he'd been to nursery and he was a bit wiped after that, so he dozed off. Of course, I took advantage! ;)

Of course, this is Lili of The Valley, and coloured with Promarkers lol! As said before, my aim this year is to use up all my pre-stamped, pre-printed images, so I'm afraid there will be alot of LoTV! And Pollycraft!
The papers are, again, Nitwit, and the same as my last male card. There is something else I have decided to do this year......when I colour my images, I am going to try to do two images in similar colours, especially male ones, and then when I print off my papers, I can make 2 cards at the same time, instead of hoarding printed paper! I finished with SU Tiny Brads and a computer printed sentiment. Oh and I did lightly shade the background with blue chalk.

Challenges

Thanks for looking! And I notice that whilst writing this this, I got yet another follower! Yay! Welcome! :)
Ok I'm off for now, but you may see me tomorrow.... ;)

Have a Happy Day!

Good evening!
Well....I have apparently had an overdose of the creative juices as I have made yet another card today!

Ok yes this is another Lili Of The Valley image! I know I use them alot , but I have so many stamped that I never seem to get round to using so I have made a promise to myself that I'm going to get them used up this year! Along with all the digis I have printed waiting to be used lol!
Anyway, I've coloured with Promarkers, used Nitwit papers, and a Papermania sentiment. The clouds were done using Bev Rochester's technique with chalks rather than ink. This is because I only have one stamped image of this particular stamp so I couldn't use a mask and chalk is easy to rub off where I don't want it. It does give a much more subtle effect though, but I like it :)

A Little Football

Good afternoon all!
I have two cards for you today. The first is for a friend's Son's birthday.

The image is Footballer Jack from Pollycraft and is coloured with Promarkers. The papers are all Nitwit - Candle Cakes Solids and Candle Cakes Too. The sentiment is printed and I finished with a handmade Football Card Candi! Oh and the ribbon is of a lovely golden chocolate rabbit I got (and ate!) some time ago.
Hope you like it! I'm entering it into the following challenges.......

Running Man #2

Hiya!
Well I am very pleasedto announce that I have finally finished all the cards I needed for the big(ish) order I had. I  shall be giving them to the lady on Saturday.......hope she likes them all!
Anyway, here is the last one I made, though I have a couple more to blog when I get chance.
This one has been made to the sketch at Dude Time Doodles (though it's hard to see in the photo but there are for strips of paper across a base paper!) and the image is a Vector image I bought from Canstock Photo, coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Nitwit Ginger Fellas Too and the sentiment is printed. Hope you like it! :)

Running Man

3rd post today......on a roll!

This is another one that has been ordered. 2 down......
The image is a vector image I bought from Canstock Photos and coloured with Promarkers. The running track is a Google image and the printed background is Nitwit Gingerfella 2 Solids. The blue background is just chalk on a white paper. I attached the ribbon to make it look like he had just run through it......it's from the inside of the shoulder of a t-shirt I bought! Sentiment is Papermania.
I am entering this into the following challenges......
