A quickie!

Good evening!

I have a really quick card for you tonight that I made as I didn't want to miss the deadline at The Paper Players this week!

Quite simply, I inked up my Solid Stripes stamp with Island Indigo and Bashful Blue markers and stamped onto the panel before matting onto Crumb Cake. The sentiment is also Island Indigo and Rich Razzleberry and the button and ribbon finish it nicely, I think :)

Right, I need a cuppa after all the party favours I've made for Keiran's party! But, think I'm done now...just need to wrap the pass the parcel prizes tomorrow...he's so excited bless him! :)

Less Is More - One Layer Spots and Stripes

Good morning! 

I have a lovely weekend off, to spend with Keiran, and I am really looking forward to it! I have a new washing machine coming at some point this morning, then we're off skating!

But before all this, I have of course, peeped at the challenge at Less Is More and made a card for, it, though this one was a little tricky to execute! It involves masking, and that's not something I do a lot of!

I stamped my sentiment first, then stamped again cut it out, and laid it over the sentiment on the card. I then stamped the spots and then the stripes, using my Stamp-A-Majig for each stage.

I finished with 4 tiny gems. I usually use an odd number of gems, but any way I put them made it all look off centre!
