Butterfly Wishes

Morning all!
Well Keiran's rash still isn't any better......Think it'll be another visit to the doc's today :( Poor lad, he's so itchy!
So while he slept in a bit this morning (again), I made this little card for the Less Is More Sketch challenge......

This is just some card I had lying around and the butterflies are Martha Stewart. The sentiment is Papermania.
Hope you like it! :)
Gonna go get lunch ready, then take Keiran to the walk in centre I think :(

Poinsettia - Less Is More

Good afternoon all!
I have had a busy day today! Keiran developed an all over body rash and temperature last night so we were at the doc's first thing this morning, then at Manchester children's hospital to get the stitches looked at on his eye. So generally, been all over the place today!
So I have just had time to make this before I pack Keiran off to Jen's while I'm at work tonight......

This a Poinsettia from Craftwork Cards that I had left from last year. I made loads of these, using one sheet of them that were in a pack, then drawing round them and cutting them out. They took ages to make but they really look great! I have made this to enter into the Less Is More - Sketch challenge.
Hopefully, I will get a few more entries in this week :) Mind you, I really have made loads of cards the last few days.......scroll down my blog and check them out! :)

Crafting together!

I just thought it would be nice to post a picture of Jen and Keiran with the cards they made today!

Hehe Jen will hate me for posting this pic of her! Anyway, Keiran is holding the 2 cards he made......my apprentice! ;)

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells

Well I seem to be on a bit of a roll recently! Here is another card I have made today! I have also made another but it needs a sentiment and some extra bits which I have at home. I shall be heading home shortly after a fab crafting weekend with Jen!
Now this first picture is just to show the accident I had whilst colouring the edges of my image with my freebie Egyptian Blue Flexmarker from Harrogate......
Needles to say, I was a bit miffed! Anyway, thanks to the sketch I had already decided to use, I managed to rescue it, as shown below!

The image is one of Sliekjes fabulous digis and can be found HERE.
The papers are just from Jen's stash, one is embossed with a snowfall folder and the red is stamped with LoTV music sheet in white Brilliance ink.
Now I know the challenge shows 3 embellies, which I had added, but I personally preferred it without.

Promarkers - Chestnut, Terracotta, Raw Sienna, Berry Red, Crimson, True Blue, Sunflower, Almond, Sunkissed Pink, Ice Grey 5,4,3,2,1, Cool Grey 5, Black
Flexmarker - Egyptian Blue

Oh Sit Down...

Good afternoon all!
I am at Jen's having a fab crafting day after moving her craftroom last night! We've just had a lunch break and watched the launch of the Ooh La La Festive Funnies CD-ROM on Create & Craft and seen my samples on there! I had my cards on TV! lol! All the DT at OLLCB had their cards showcased and they're all just fab! :)
Anyway, back to the point of my blogging......cards! Here is one I have made this morning. It's my first ever Gorjuss card. I love how my colouring turned out, just not too sure about the actual card. Oh well......it's done now and here it is......

This is Gorjuss Sitting from Sugar Nellie Stamps and is coloured with Promarkers (Crimson, Berry, Poppy, Sunkissed Pink, Almond, Marsh Green, Olive Green, Khaki, Umber, Warm Grey 5, 4, 3). The patterned papers are MME Bloom & Grow and the rest are from Jen's scrap draw. The flowers are also Jen's from Prima.
Challenges

I'd love to hear any comments on this card and how it could've been better.......I'm just not 100%  happy with it!

Twinkling Star

Here is a gorgeous little card I've made using one of the new LoTV Christmas stamps......love them!

She is called Twinkling Star and I coloured her in a while ago with my trusty Promarkers. I have then glittered, sparkled and 'snowed' her to within an inch of her life! The snowflakes are Marianne and the rest is from the stash.
Challenges
Off to move Jen's craftroom now......literally!

Less Is More 34 - Sketch

Good morning LIMettes!
Well it doesn't seem that long since I was on here posting my last cards for the last challenge! Oh right......it wasn't that long ago!
Anyway, the lovely Lady and Diva LIM have given us a nice easy sketch this week to reward us for our hard work trying to reach 1000 entries! We didn't quite make it but I bet we set a record in blogland! :)
Anyway, here is my card, before I head to work.
This is simply an image cut from Sweet Owl paper and an old Hero Arts sentiment!
Ok, work! And then a fab weekend crafting with Jen! See you soon! :)

Santa

Hello again!
Yay! I managed to get some more crafting in this evening! These are some cards I have been working on all week for my packs of Christmas cards for the market this year. As requested by Lady and Diva LIM at Less Is More, I have posted them all separately to help with the 1000 entry challenge! I don't think we'll make it now, but this should take us to almost 750!
The stamp is Kars, coloured with Promarkers, mounted on Promarker coloured backing card. Sentiment is from the free OneFourZero set in this week's Simply Cards and Papercraft.
Off to post the other 4!

Baubles!

Hi all!
Well here is what may end up being my final submission into the Less Is More 1000 entries Anything Goes Challenge. Unless I get chance to make some more this evening......

This is a new stamp from Kars I bought from Hobbycraft on Wednesday. Thanks to Jenny M for her card using Kars stamps and telling me where to get them! I bought 8 lol!
Anyway, I just coloured with Promarkers, highlighted with glitter and mounted onto some shimmer card, also coloured with Promarkers to get the exact match! I haven't added a sentiment as yet, but I think I will add one on the panel, or maybe just underneath it......what do you think?
Only 300 entries to go to reach 1000!!

Here is my 5th entry into the Less Is More 1000 entries challenge......
This is a new embossing folder I got in Harrogate and I just chalked it in varying shades of pink and purple. There's no sentiment as I don't seem to have one that really fits!
Right, off to play with my new Kars stamps now...... :)

Christmas Bells

Here is another (4th) card for the Less Is More attempt at 1000 entries.....

Very simply, this is a purple shimmer card blank with a hand embossed frame, rubbed with gold Encore/ The bells are Marianne Creatables cut from gold holographic card, and the ribbon is from my stash. I do rather like this design and I reckon I may make quite a few of these for my stall, as they were ridiculously simple to make!

100th Birthday!

Good evening!
I would like to share this card I made this morning but didn't have time to blog it until now. I was asked to make this for my friend's adoptive Nan's 100th Birthday.

The papers are from Sweet Owl paper stack, the numbers are just printed from my pc and cut out by hand, then covered with Glossy Accents and sprinkled with glitter. The frame is Marianne and the butterfly is Joy. It is a very simple but very stylish card, I think and I hope the recipient loves it! :)
Challenges......
Thanks for looking everyone! :)

Less Is More #3

Afternoon all!
Here is my 3rd entry into LIM - Anything Goes challenge. They are trying to get 1000 entries to celebrate their 1000th follower so pop on over and submit a card...let's see if we can do it! :)
The cute cats are Stampendous Kitty Silhouettes and the ribbon is from the stash. It's a card for my neighbours to say thanks for looking after our cat, Coco while we were on holiday. It went down well with the box of fudge!
Ok off to work now, see you later! :)

Ooh La La - Dies and/or punches

Good morning!
Well it's challenge #89 at Ooh La La Creations and this week the theme is
DIE CUTS and/or PUNCHES
Here is my DT card......

This is from the Quick Makes For Christmas cd and I have deliberately kept it fairly simple as it is primarily a male card. There's no glitter, and the only ribbon is quite manly! The tree and double layered snowflake are both Marianne and I have just used black mirri board as a mount, and on the bottom of the card.
I can't wait to see all your fab creations! :)

Oh Christmas Tree

Good morning all!Well I am back after a wonderful time in Wales with Keiran, my Mum & Dad, Brother, Sis-in-Law and nephew. We had a great time and we were really lucky with the weather.....no rain at all except on the way home yesterday while we were visiting Swallow Falls.
So now I'm back and my first challenge is of course the Less Is More one, as it's Saturday morning! Apparently it was announced earlier in the week that it would be an Anything Goes challenge......I missed that LOL! SO I have just made my card below......

This is made using one of the new Christmas dies I bought at GNPE last weekend. This one is Flowering Christmas Tree from Memory Box. It looks tricky to get stuck down without mess but I used the Letraset sticky film, Letratac, where I just placed the die cut image onto the sticky side, face up, then rubbed over it with the special tool. I then peeled it off and put it onto a heatproof mat and dabbed a clear embossing pad over it. Then I moved it to a piece of plain paper and sprinkled with glitter, before sticking to my card blank and pressing down firmly to make a permanent bond. I finished with red gems and a LoTV Christmas sentiment in Cardinal Versacolour.
Hope you like!
Right, shopping, washing and DT cards to make now, along with a 'thank you for looking after the cat' card, a new baby card, and a wedding card! Busy day!

Patchwork Rocking Horse

Good evening!
I have had a very busy week, as you've probably noticed by the lack of blogging I've done, but now it's time to relax as I go on holiday to Wales tomorrow! :) I have been busy tonight making 3 sample cards for Ooh La La's Create & Craft show later in the month, using their new Christmas CD......and may I say, the images I got were FAB! Can't wait for the new cd! :)
Anyway, here is my card for today......

I have made a mechanical slider card, the instructions for which I got from Quick Cards Issue 91 and the papers are Sweet Wishes free with Papercraft Essentials. The image is Pollycraft, coloured with Promarkers. The slider works by gently pulling the tab on the right of the card.
Inspirations;
I had intended to enter this into a challenge I had seen fro slider/shaker cards.......but it's Here Come the Boys challenge lol!
I'm away for a week now so won't be blogging......hope to be back next weekend! :)

Seeing Double!

Good afternoon LIMettes!
Yes......afternoon! I know I am usually much quicker with my entry, but this week Jen and I went to the GNPE at Harrogate, and had to leave just after 8am to get there in time for opening to get our free Flexmarker! I was hoping to quickly get my entry in but Jen turned up sooner than I thought LOL! However, it did give me time to think about what I would do for this Seeing Double challenge!
I decided to use a new Marrianne die cut, and a new technique for today's card! Both of which I got from the show today!

Oh and I used my new Stormy Sky Distress Ink and my new LoTV sentiment, all from the show too! I spent a fortune, as always, but it was guilt free as it was all money I have made from selling my cards! So.......a self funding hobby! :D
I hope you like it! I suspect I will have alot more new things up my sleeve in the future! :D
