Elegant Wedding

Here is another card I have just made, this one is just a simple elegant card that would be a perfect Wedding Acceptance card, or even an invitation
I also tried it landscape and added the word 'Wedding'. Think I prefer it this way actually.

I found this gorgeous ribbon in Hobbycraft a few weeks ago and just had to have a metre of it! The gems and charm are from my stash.

Colour - Promarkers

Fairy Ballet

Hello again!
Well I had some trouble uploading yesterday because it would seem that I had exceeded my Picasa limit and had to purchase extra storage! So I have done that now, but it took a while to update, hence this card not being posted yesterday!

Here is my second DT card for Crafting For All Seasons, this one using a Whoopsi Daisy image from sheet #250, coloured with Promarkers.

The background papers used on this card are from Ooh La La Shoes In Bloom CD-ROM...I thought they were perfect for this image!
If you missed my first DT card for this week, using a The Stamping Boutique image, please check it out here.

Thanks for looking and hope to be back soon! :)

Joyous!

Good morning and happy Christmas Eve LIMettes!
Hope you're all ready for tomorrow? I am just about...just housework and food prep now! :)
Anyway, Chrissie and Mandi over at Less Is More have set us the challenge of creating a card with
JUST ONE WORD
so I wandered into my craft room with the intention of creating a computer generated sentiment, when I found this word sat on my desk...
I have been meaning to use it and neve got around to it, so I thought it would be perfect for today's challenge!
It is from Sizzix and the Poinsettia is Marrianne Creatables. I finished with a pearl and some clear gems.
Hope you like it!
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone, especially Chrissie & Mandi, and hope 2012 brings a fabulous year to you all! :)

Not A Christmas card!

Good evening all!
Well it's been manic hasn't it? What with markets, work, Keiran, DT cards, Create & Craft sample cards for Ooh La La ( Friday 23rd Dec, 10am and 5pm), homemade crackers, food shopping, visiting friends...... Lol I'll be glad for Christmas Day so I can have a rest! Oh no......it doesn't work like that does it?! ;)
Anyway, I treated myself to an hour crafting today before picking Kim up and going to Bury. Here is what I made......

Less is more - Music (at Last!)

Good afternoon and happy Monday all!
Well I have had a very busy time lately and my blogging seems to have suffered for it unfortunately. But I am back with a couple of cards today, the first is for Less Is More - Music challenge.
Now I don't have any music stamps and when I looked at 8am on Saturday to see what the challenge was, it stumped me a bit! Then the weekend crept away from me and I almost thought I wouldn't get chance to enter this week! However, here is my card...I hope it classes as 'music'...

It was my friend Jackie's birthday on Friday, but I'm seeing her this week so I thought this would be perfect for her as she loves dancing! The image is from My Craft Studio Simply Silhouettes and I just added the text and gems.
Hope you like it!
Off to post my second card today, for Freshly Made Sketches.

Let It Snow!

Good morning!
Ok well this is a quick one again before I head off to work!
How apt too that this week's challenge over at Less Is More is
as I woke this morning to a lovely white wonderland! Albeit a very thin coat.......still looks pretty!
Anyway, here's my card......
Really hard to photograph though! I basically created a strip of snowflekes using my Kars stamps and heat embossed in silver.
Right....off for now! :)

Snowman!

Well this morning Keiran is 'sort of better, after a lot of medicine taking and sleeping....just hoping the fever is on the way out now......
So here is the last of the cards I brought to London for my family...... this is another card I made for Callum, this time from Keiran.

Again, Lili of The Valley, Promarkers and Pink Petticoat. I find these 3 things the easiest things to use to put a card together pretty quickly, as I had to on Sunday night! The 'snowballs' are from my stash.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Bear Cracker

Hey everyone!
Well I am exhausted today as I spent all night up with Keiran after he was sick and developed a high temperature this time yesterday. And just when he seemed to be brightening up, he got a high temp again today :(  So our 'Christmas Day' yesterday wasn't as good as I'd hoped for.
Anyway, he is cuddled up with me now so I am taking 5 mins to blog another card.
This is the card I made for my lovely Nephew Callum......

Lili of TheValley image, Promarkers,Pink Petticoat papers and purple Mirri card. Finished with purple and gold glitter. I have actually personalised this card before I gave it, but I didn't enter it here as it wouldn't go with the sketch!
Challenges......
Thanks for looking....I hope to have a better night's sleep tonight lol!

Good morning!
Well the market didn't go as well as I had hoped yesterday but it wasn't too bad. I now only have a few commissions left to make after today, plus my family cards, some blog hop cards and DT cards....then I can relax in time for Christmas LOL!
This is another one of the commission cards I made last week......

Computer printed sentiment, glittery matting card (not that it shows on the photos), Memory Box corner die and pearl from the stash. A simple but very pretty card, I think! :)

Less Is More - Green

Happy Saturday everyone!
Only 3 weeks 'til Christmas!!
I have a market to go to today so this will be quick, then I shall have to go and pick Kim up!
This morning our Lady and Diva LIM have set this colour challenge......
GREEN
SO I have used a borrowed stamp from Kim!

I stamped it using SU Old Olive and matted onto some scrap paper. Finished with a ribbon and 4 tiny gems. I decided to go slightly off centre for interest :)

Bingo! 90th Birthday!

Good evening!
Well I have had a very hectic day today......work this morning, shopping with my Dutch friend Simone this afternoon before she headed off back to Holland, an hour to get a 'star' costume for Keiran's Nativity play, and then putting the finishing touches to a large card commission I had!
16 cards in all!!
Anyway, back to the point of this post! This is a 90th birthday card I was asked to make for a bingo lover!

I got the fab sentiment from Diane (thank you!) and the bingo card from Google images. The rest is from my slowly decreasing stash! ;)
*Challenges *

Hope you like......of to bed to get a good night's sleep for my last market before Christmas tomorrow!

On your Christening

Hey all!
Well wow! What an awsome gig last night! Bryan Adams totally ROCKED!!
Anyway, back down to earth with a bump and time to get my commissions finished! But before I do, here is a little card I made for my friend's little girl's Christening.
It is a Lili of The Vally image very subtly coloured with Promarkers, cut out, (as I had a mark on the outer of it!) , and stuck to the front of a Nestie embossed card blank. I then printed a sentiment and finished with a silver cross and my new Memory Box corner die. I really like the simplicity and the White on White of this card! :)
