A happy card!

Hi everyone! And a special welcome to my newest follower, Wendy...it's lovely to have you here! :)

Wasn't it a lovely day yesterday? I even managed to build my new greenhouse and Keiran's ant world...I think that might be staying in my greenhouse. Can you imagine escaped ants all over the house??!

Anyway, I was inspired by the lovely weather to make this cheerful thank you card for a lady who placed an order with me this weekend....

I have used the Happy Watercolor stamp set for the sentiment and Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper.

I created the edge using the Adorning Accents Edgelits and then embossed using the matching embossing folder. I didn't run it through my Bigshot though. To get the triple embossing I lined up the edge in the folder then used my scoring tool to emboss the lines...they would squish in the Bigshot if I did more than one!

I should also say that this card was also inspired by the lovely Linda, who made a card and I just needed to CASE it! It's a terrific way to use my large stash of DSP! Here is Linda's gorgeous card...

I am being dragged to check on Keiran's ant world so I'm off now...see you soon!

  2. Gorgeous card Lizy. What a great way to use your DSP. Might have to use this idea. I've been having a lovely catch up and I loved those cards you made using the LIM sketch. I hope Kieran loved that fabby card you made for his birthday last week. I'm sure he was well chuffed. That was the day I had my check up at the hospital. The surgeon was very pleased with my progress and doesn't need to see me again. I thought I'd be doing lots of crafting while I'm off work but I'm so lazy I've just been knitting and crocheting. On the plus side I've been very inspired catching up with your blog and also Jen's and Vicky's.

    I'm waffling here!!
