A cheery Thank You!

Good morning!
Today I'm sharing my DT card for CAS-Colours and Sketches with you. We have a yummy, bright colour combo for you all today...

I really love how cheerful these colours are, don't you? Here is how I used them...

I started by stamping the Gorgeous Grunge 'splatter' in Versamark, then heat embossed it with Wild Wasabi Stampin' Emboss powder (retired). I then added a piece of Daffodil Delight Seam Binding and some Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine in a random fashion.

The flower is from the Flower Patch set, and I punched it with the Pansy Punch. I finished with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments punched with the Word Window, and a Wild Wasabi Candy Dot.

I used the sketch at Retro Sketches for inspiration...

So go get your crafty on and see what you can come up with. We're looking forward to seeing your creations this week!

  1. You can't beat a bit of grunge! The spatter sets off the ribbon and flower so well. I like the randomness of your twine too, suits the grungy CAS feel. Fab card

  2. Love that sketchy flower stamp and I'm a bit of a gorgeous grunge addict myself. Beautiful card Lizy.

  3. The randomness of the twine goes so nicely with the splatter. Super job combining the colors with the sketch!

  4. I love the simplicity of your card, sooooooo cute!

Thank you so much for visiting. Please leave a comment so I know you've been...all comments are read and appreciated! Lizy x
