A one layer birthday card for my Grandma

Hello everyone!
I hope you are well? I'm here today with my first post as September's hostess for our challenges at CAS-Colours and Sketches. This week we have some lovely soft, springlike colours for I'm not ready to let Autumn in!

So here is the super quick, one layer card I made...

I stamped the main image from Butterfly Basics in Basic Gray, then with my Stampin' Writ Markers and Blender Pens I coloured it in using the 3 challenge colours. I then stamped the sentiment in Black Memento ink, and the two rows of chevrons in Pink Pirouette.

Here's a close up of the flowers...

It's really easy to do this kind of just gradually build up the colour until you get the effect you want.

It would have been my Grandma's 97th Birthday today, and I still miss her loads. I have lots to thank her for, and some amazing memories, and I will be thinking about her today...this one's for you Grandma...Happy Birthday!

We're all looking forward to seeing your creations and how you use these colours!
