Baptism Cards and Candles

Hello!
First of all, welcome to my newest followers...it's so nice to have you here! :)

Tonight I'm going to show you some cards and candles I have made for my friend's girls for their Baptism on Sunday.

I have used the Stampin' Up! Labels die and some cross dies but I can't remember where they're from.

The crosses were cut out of some cool double sided sticky sheets and rubbed with a subtle glitter.

The ribbons and gems are from my stash.

The sentiments are computer generated.

Remembering Mum #2

Good evening!
Here is another card I made yesterday at Jen's...another Remembrance card.

For this one, I used the Lacy Brocade EF ad butterflies from the Precious Butterflies Hostess stamp set.

Again, the sentiment is computer generated. Actually, I printed it in the wrong place for my first card so I made another card with it!

Supplies used on this card
Embossing Folder - Lacy Brocade
Ink (Markers) - Crumb Cake, Perfect Plum, Raspberry Ripple
Stamps - Precious Butterflies

Thanks for popping by to say hi! :)

Fireman Sam!

Good evening!
I've got a card here I have made for my Nephew's Birthday next week. Apparently he is crazy into Fireman Sam these days so I thought I would use that for his card!

I found a colouring page on Google and coloured it with Promarkers. I kept the colouring fairly 'cartoony' without too much shading etc.

The sentiment was created in WordArt and the number is from DieNamics.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Remembering Mum #1

Good evening!
I have had a lovely afternoon crafting with Jen, and here is one of the cards I have made. The theme was an idea requested by a friend of mine as she struggles to find cards to place on her parent's graves at special times of the year. So this one is for her Mum for Mother's Day...

I coloured the Flowering Flourishes stamp with my Stampin' Write Markers before stamping, giving a very subtle effect, which is just what I was looking for with this card. I mounted the panel onto Wisteria Wonder card. The sentiment is computer generated.

I finished with a few of the tiny butterflies from Embosslits Beautiful Wings.

Supplies used on this card
Cardstock - Whisper White
Inks (Markers) - Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder
Stamps - Flowering Flourishes
Ribbon - Ruffled Edge Wisteria Wonder

Less Is More - Shrunken Butterflies!

Good morning!
Wow we got alot of snow in a very short space of time yesterday! I think this is where my obsession for a lot of white space is coming from just now lol!

This morning over at Less is More, the challenge is a sketch challenge, and here is what I made...

On Thursday night, Jen came round for a little crafting, and we were playing with stamping on Shrink Plastic. I made the gorgeous tiny little butterflies but wasn't sure what to do with them...then I saw this morning's sketch and it all kind of came together really quickly!

The Sketch

close up of the butterflies

I really love these butterflies...they look so dainty! I think I will be doing this a lot in the future! One tip though, these work better if you stamp them using the markers...the pads seem to blur the image when it's shrunk.
Also, because I used water based ink, I found I couldn't use liquid glue so I have used glue dots, which you can kind of see a discolouration on the close up photo, but not in real life!

Supplies needed for this card
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Papillon Pot Pourri, Happiest Birthday Wishes
Ink (markers) - Rich Razzleberry
DP - Sycamore Street (Sale-A-Bration)
Punch - Elegant Butterfly
EF - Honeycomb

Sketch Saturday #243

Good morning Sketch Saturday fans!
Di you have lots of snow where you are last night? we had almost 6 inches! And it all looks gorgeous out there today! :)

Anyway, it's our new sketch over at Sketch Saturday so here is my card...

Isn't she cute?! I used the star she is holding as inspiration for the rest of the card and found this Back 2 Basics paper pad which gave me my colours. The embossing folder is by Crafts Too.

A closer look

I finished her with a little sparkle on her stars

Bingo!

Good evening!
Here is a card to show you that I made for a commission yesterday...

As you can probably guess, the request was for a bingo themed card! I made the bingo cards and the sentiment in Word, and used Card Candi as the bingo counters.

No challenges for this one...just thought you'd like to see :)

Ok...night!

White on White Wedding

Hello everyone!
Fed up of the snow yet? Hope not...we're due to have more tomorrow! :))

Well all this white around appears to really be inspiring me! I have another white on white card for you today :)

The card is A5 in size with a side fold. The image is from Marry Me and I stamped it with my Basic Gray Stampin' Write marker pen.

close up of the sentiment and pearls...isn't it lovely?

I really love this stamp set as it is so elegant, and the sentiments are just lovely.
