Here is my third attempt at Less is More's Sentiment Focus
Now it's not that I didn't like my other submissions but I was dead set on trying a few different techniques that I had seen while commenting on other entries. So here is one I have done using the spray technique. I created the sentiment in Word using the text box tutorial on the LIM blog. After printing it directly onto a 6x6 card blank I then put it into an old(ish) ;) shoebox and with some careful manouvering and lifting, I sprayed purple Cosmic Shimmer once onto the bottom right of the card. I only wish the couple of splodges on the right of the card hadn't happened.... I finished with 3 litle gems to highlight the 3 lilac words.

Lizy, I still haven't ventured into the spritzing of mist...I have plenty of it, just haven't used it! Love what you've done with it!
ReplyDeleteLizy, I've never yet managed to spritz anything without leaving a few random blobs. I think it's part of the overall effect. However, spritzing alone doesn't seem quite enough for this card, maybe if you had spritzed over a mask or template a little subtle interest would have been added. This version seems a little lack lustre and needs just a little more to capture the imagination.
