Stamping Scrapping Central - Red, White and Blue
2 Cute Rubber Stamps - Red, White and Blue

Thanks for looking and don't forget to enter our challenge at Crafting for all Seasons!

To the moon!

Hello!
Here is my 4th DT card for Crafting For All Seasons, where our theme this week is Red, White & Blue. We had loads of fab entries into our Summer challenge last week, thank you to you all for making it very difficult to choose our top 3 again!

Yeah I know, there are lots of photos lol! It's because I am trying to show that the rocket is attached with an acetate strip so it sort of 'flies' on the card! We are sponsored, this fortnight, by 2 Cute Stamps and this little fella is called 'To The Moon'. 2 Cute Stamps have very kindly offered 2 rubber or 3 digi stamps to the winner!

I coloured my image with Promarkers and cut him out. I attached a strip of folded acetate to the back of the image using tape. I embossed the blue panel and added glitter and stars to highlight it (who says boys don't like glitter?!) I matted the coloured panels onto silver Mirri and added my little rocket man and the moon, which is a Google image. I finished by adding glossy accents to the window and the masks.

Hope you like it!
I am entering this into the following challenges......
Stamping Scrapping Central - Red, White and Blue
Cards For Men - Stars
Craft Your Passion - Use Red
2 Cute Rubber Stamps - Red, White and Blue

Can't wait to see what you all come up with this week! :)

See, Hear, Speak no age!

Hello!
Here I am with a 3rd entry into this week's Less Is More Sketch challenge......

I thought of this idea yesterday at work as I was thinking of 3 things that would work well together! The image is from Google, the card blank is Pink Petticoat Woodgrain Stone and I simply cut 3 apertures into the top layer of card, mounted it onto some rusty coloured card from the stash and added the cut out monkeys! The text is done using some little wooden letter stamps I have and inside it says 'no age!'

I hope the card has enough 'white space'! I know it's not actually white but it is kind of blank! Oh well...I like the card!

Wedding Card

Hello again!
Here is a card I quickly made before work this morning for my stall on Saturday. It was a real quickie because I had already designed this card as a birthday card so I knew exactly what I was doing with it! :)

If you can't already tell, I'm loving this sketch from Less Is More this week! It is simply an embossed panel on a silver panel with 3 wedding charms attached, and an Inkadinado sentiment in silver Encore ink.

See you soon! :)

Oooh and by the way, I won with my little wizard card over at Here Come The Boys! Yay!! :))

Candi flowers

Good morning all!
Well here is a second entry into Less Is More - Sketch challenge

I was looking for a charm for another card I was making (which I will put on here when I've finished it) when I realised how much Card Candi I have! So I decided this might be a great way to use some of it up! I haven't added a sentiment as yet because I wanted to get an Encore Gold ink pad before I do!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone......I'm off to work!

Less Is More-Sketch

Good morning LIMettes!
Well I'm not as early as planned with my entry into the Less Is More-Sketch challenge this week, due to waking up late after the awsome Bon Jovi gig last night!! But I am here now :)

I layered some blue and white card from my stash to create the panel, then stuck the 3 flowers on with silicone glue and added my Papermania sentiment! Now the clever bit is that these flowers were on a hair 'scrunchie' I picked up for 75p from a jewellery shop that was closing down a while ago. There were 8 of these flowers on it and I thought they would be useful one day... :) The hardest bit about this card was getting the flowers off in one piece!

Thanks to Diva LIM Mandi and Lady LIM Chrissie for giving us an 'easier' challenge this week! ;)
I shall probably be back later in the week with more......

Pollycraft DT call entry!

Hi again!
So here is my second card. I have made this one as my entry into Pollycraft's DT call...I would love to be on their team cos I so love their images......they are just fab! :D

So this is the other freebie they gave to use for the DT call. How cute?? I was going to use the first card I made today but changed my mind after I made this one. The little birdie is coloured with Promarkers and then cut out. I put a DP on my card blank, then cut out the scalloped aperture with the largest Nestie. I attached my little Bluebird's branch between the card blank and the paper and added flowers and some little bits of circular card that came out of a previous Eyelet Nestie cutting! I finished with a paper insert and a Papermania greeting.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges......
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Scrapbook Sisters - Anything Goes
Rainbow Ladies - Use a Digi

Ok best get off to Old Trafford for the gig! See you all tomorrow, I'm sure!

Final Monogram attempt!

Hey all!
I have been somewhat busy this week so haven't had much crafting time, but this morning I have managed to make a final entry into LIM Monogram challenge. This has not been the easiest of challenges for me, due to the fact that a Monogram on a card personalises it and I sell mine on a market so I have to make cards that will appeal to a wide audience! However, Jen and I are into wedding stationery so I decided to design one for our collection......

Quite simply, the text is computer generated in Scriptina, then I used a Spellbinders die to cut the text out, and threaded lilac ribbon through, then wrapped it around the card. I finished with 3 tiny lilac gems. I think this will make a lovely wedding invitation!
Hope you like and I should be early with this Saturday's entry as I'm not working til the evening!
Bye for now!

2nd Monogram attempt

Hey all you wonderful LIMettes!
Well this morning I have made another Monogram card for this week's Less Is More challenge.

I have used my Marianne Designables folder and created the text in Word, then glittered it.

Hope you like it! :)

Pretty Pollycraft!

And here is my last card for today......not bad......I've made 5! :)

This one is another Pollycraft Digi - So Tall. They really are the cutest digis and a bargain at only 99p each! :D She is coloured with Promarkers, cut out and mounted using Nesties, and the card has been put together using the sketch from The Sweet Stop, where you have to make a circular card this week. I don't have any dies big enough to make shaped cards but I do have a craft compass so I used that to cut a 6x6 card into a circle. The backing paper is from my stash and the strip of DP is from the free Pink Petticoat paper stack in this week's Quick Cards. I used a Martha Stewart border punch to trim it. I added some seam binding from Ribbon Girl and finished with a bow, a sentiment from Papermania some Wild Orchid flowers and some faux stitching. Oh and I added glitter to the flowers and the centre of the sunflower.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges;
Pollycraft - Ribbon & Flowers

Night everyone!

It's Magical!

I have just spent a couple of hours in my craft room since Keiran went to bed making a couple of cards for challenges that finish tonight, but that I really wanted to enter! Here is the first one;

The image is from Pollycraft Enchant and Explore collection......soo darned cute! I fell in love with Pollycraft digi's when I spotted a pirate one that was perfect for some Birthday invitations...I had to have all 3 sets of the Swings 'n Slides LOL! I have coloured him with Promarkers and layered the card up following the sketch at Sketch Saturday, using papers from my stash and bits of ribbon. The silver star is the reject from a card I made earlier today but got glue all over it, and the sentiment is LOTV. I finished with Glossy Accents and glitter :)

I'm also entering it into the following challenges;
Here Come The Boys- Myth & Magic
Craft Your Passion - It's Magical

TFL :)

My Daddy's Father's Day Card!

Here is my card I've made for my Dad for his special day......

The stamp is LOTV Dad's The Word, coloured with Promarkers and the background is a new embossing folder I picked up in Bury yesterday. The button is from my stash and the baker's twine is from Ribbon Girl.
Hope my Dad likes it! :)

I'm entering it into the following challenges -
Ooh La La - Special Man/Father's Day
LOTV - Bring on the Music (If I Had A Hammer)
Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central - Embossing

Birthday Fishes!

Hey again!
Here is the card I have made for Jen for her Birthday on Wednesday......don't worry......she's seen it!

I forgot to take the photo's before I wrote in it! Anyway, anyone who knows Jen knows that she is an avid scuba diver, so I decided to make a card based around that theme! The idea is that the scene inside the card is being viewed through the goggles of the diver, hence the frame of the goggles being inside the card. The coral reef is a freebie from Meljen Designs and coloured with Promarkers, and the goggles and fish are from Google images. I covered the fish with Glossy Accents and sprinkled with a little Butterfly Trails glitter for some underwater sparkle! The lettering was cut out using my Craft Robo and coloured with the old Promarkers too!

Jen liked it.....hope you do too! I am entering it into A Spoonfull of Sugar's Splish Splash challenge.

Monogram Less Is More - Finally!

Hellloooo LIMettes!
I trust everyone is well? Well I have had a very busy, and wonderful time with a lovely guy I met a couple of weeks ago in Cambridge, and he came to visit this weekend! So with his visit, and work, this is the first chance I've had to make my entry into the LIM challenge for the week, which is Monogram

Now I will admit, when I found out the challenge this week, I was a little daunted! I had absolutely no ideas! Until I went to visit a friend in Bury who regularly orders cards from me, and she asked me to make a wedding acceptance card, based around the invitation. Now, I haven't seen the invitation, but she did describe it to me, and this is how she described it, so I made it and just added the K & A cut with Sizzix Monogram and flooded them with Glossy Accents. I have no idea how close it is to the design she wanted, but we'll soon see! Oh the stars are silver Mirri by the way.

Hope you like it......not sure how many more Monogram cards I can come up with now......not the most open challenge ever lol! Mandi and Chrissie have really got me this week!

Oooh good news too.......I have been asked to be on another design team! I am honoured! :)
See you all later in the week (I hope!)

One Layer In The Frame Baby Announcement card

Hey all!
After making the new baby card the other day I had a thought that if I simplified it, they would make great birth announcement cards, so this is what I came up with......

The image is from Pink Petticoat and coloured with Promarkers. The frame is doodled with a fineliner. Simples! :) The card size is A6 Landscape with a top fold.
I am entering this into LIM - OLC In the Frame challenge, trying to redeem myself for the previous entry! ;) You were right Mandi & Chrissie, I shouldn't have entered it really......It didn't look that bad at first!
Hope you like this one! :)

June......must be time for Wimbledon!

Hello everyone!
Here is my card for our third challenge over at Crafting For All Seasons. The challenge this fortnight is Summer and our sponsor is The Greeting Farm. I have used Tennis Anya, as I think there is nothing more 'British Summer' than Wimbledon! (or rain lol!)

I have coloured her with Promarkers and made 3 Strawberries, from Google images and Glossy Accents. I used lace to signify the tennis net, the backing paper to symbolise the tennis court, and picnic blankets, and the strawberries because it wouldn't be Wimbledon without them lol!

We had some wonderful entries again for Father's Day, thank you all, and thank you to everyone who entered to win our Blog Candys! The winner of mine is..............................................................................................

#3 Heidi!

Congratulations Heidi! Please email me with your details and I will get your voucher sent to you :)

We look forward to seeing all your wonderful, bright, summery creations and I look forward to visiting your blogs!
Bye for now,

New Baby

Hey all!
Well what a lovely day so far......I have won top 3 at I Love Promarkers! :) What with top 5 at Passion for Promarkers last week I seem to have got my colouring to a half decent standard! :D

So with further ado, here is my entry for this week's I Love Promarkers challenge which is Black, White and one other colour.

I have made this for my friend's sister's new baby girl. The image is from Pink Petticoat, coloured with Cocktail Pink, Baby Pink, Antique Pink & Almond Promarkers and embellished with lace and pearls from my stash. The paper is from the free Sweet Wishes paperstack from Papercraft Essentials. I finished with a faux stitched edge using fineliner.

Ta for looking and see you later!
