Hello again! I'm quickly posting this before I head to bed...been a long day travelling back from an awsome James Blunt gig in Cambridge!
This is a card that has really taken me out of my comfort zone...Fairies! For some reason, up until now I have been terrified of colouring fairies in! Well I am very pleased with how this one has turned out! The stamp is Freedom from LOTV. Once coloured in with the Promarkers, and after glittering the fairy and butterfly wings with Butterfly Trails, I cut around the wings of the butterfly so as to make it look like it is flying. I used Nestabilities Labels 10 to cut out the image, and mounted it onto a green background. I then matted the image onto paper from a free Kate Knight paper stack from Papercraft Inspirations, after again cutting around the wings of the butterfly. I finished it with some pink organza ribbon, some pink gems and a charm from my stash.
A little tip...I put a small blob of silicone glue under each of the raised wings to prevent them from being pushed back down onto the card when popped into the envelope.
Promarkers
Dress:Antique Pink, Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink
Wings: Soft Peach, Blush, Ivory
Skin: Blush, Satin
Butterfly & Shoes: Antique Pink, Baby Pink
Leaves: Apple Green, Meadow Green
I have entered this card into this week's Passion for Promarkers challenge.
Thanks for popping by and see you tomorrow! :)
