Marry Me...In Spain!

Here is another commissioned wedding card that has been winging it's way to very sunny Barcelona for a couple who got married on Saturday...I think it is now safe to post a picture!

I have used my favourite wedding stamp set, Marry Me...I wish it hadn't retired! I also used some of the retired Designer Series paper too and the Elegant Lines EF...Why do good things have to go?!

I did use some current products too though! Adorning Accents Border EF and the sentiment is cut using one of the Framelits from the Apothecary Accents collection.

As usual, I made a personalised box for the card too...it's a nice finishing touch :)

I'm off to visit an old school friend and my parents today and tomorrow, but I may be able to post a little something for you still. The sun is back out so hopefully it will hang around again! :)

A couple of Thank You's

 Hello!
I know...2 posts in one day! And not only that, 2 cards in one post!
I have to be super quick as the first card I have made fits into a challenge that ends in 10 mins!

This is made using the sentiment from Oh, Hello and the Framelit from Chalk Talk. The Designer Paper is This 'n That and I finished with some Linen Thread and a couple of Essentials Hardware Clips.

Phew! Now that's done, I'll relax a little and tell you about my second card...

Supplies for both cards
Stamps - Oh, Hello, Mosaic Madness, Express Yourself (Hostess)
Ink - Tangerine Tango, Calypso Coral, Summer Starfruit, Rich Razzleberry, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe
Framelits/Punch - Chalk Talk, Mosaic Punch

Other - Linen Thread, Stamp-a-Majig, Essentials Hardware Clips

We've had a lovely day today at the new Sealife Centre in Manchester. We did have to queue for about an hour, but it was good when we got inside. In fact, the colours used on my second card really remind me of the coral on display!

Have a good evening :)

A Wedding Card off to Germany!

As you will know, if you are a regular reader of my waffle, I have had quite a lot of cards on order recently, in particular wedding cards. In fact I was working on one last night too and here it is...

Sadly, apart from the Labels Collection Framelits I used for the main panel and the Adorning Accents Edgelit I used, the rest of the Stampin' Up! products I have used are now retired. I really wish I had got more of this Designer Series Paper. It just goes to show, if you like something, stock up on it cos when it's gone, it's gone!

This card will be heading off to Germany today...I get orders from all over the place! :)

A Modern Wedding Card

Good morning!
Wow we had a lot of rain last night! Did you? We started off camping in the back garden, but it didn't last long! We came inside at the first sign of lightening!

So I am here with a card that I made to enter into the DT call at Stampin' Celebration, and here is the inspiration photo...

And here is the card I made...

Yes, this IS a tent fold DL card! I have a lot of A3 cardstock so I can make pretty much any size card blank I like!

The main panel is stamped using one of the heart stamps from Hearts a Flutter, stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe, using my Stamp-a -majig for perfect placement. The flower was created using the small heart punch, and the top panel is the new Co-ordinations card, also in Crisp Cantaloupe, embossed using one of the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders and gently sanded to lift the colour off the hearts.

The sentiment is from Sweet Essentials and I punched it out using just the ends of the Elegant Label Punch. I finished with some of the gorgeous new Ruffle Stretch Trim and a few seed beads from my stash.

Supplies
Cardstock - Co-ordinations
Stamps - Hearts a Flutter, Sweet Essentials
Ink - Crisp Cantaloupe
Punches - Small Heart, Elegant Label
Embossing - Adorning Accents EF
Ribbon - Ruffle Stretch Trim

Less is More - Shoes??

Good morning LIMettes!
Yes, normal service has been resumed...I am here bright and early! We had a brilliant weekend in Cambridge though...alot of fun and girly giggles!

So this week, Chrissie and Jen have set us an inspiration challenges using this photo...

And by the way...I LOVE these shoes!!

As I couldn't find any shoe stamps in a hurry, I decided to take the tall heels, black and ivory, and the real elegance from this picture to make a very tall, elegant card...

I have used the stunning Modern Medley papers, some Basic Black Taffeta ribbon, a Very Vintage Designer Button and a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, punched with the Elegant Label. I finished with some tiny pearls from my stash.

I popped up the top layer for some definition.

Feel Better Soon

Good afternoon! (or is it evening now?)
I know...a very late post for me. As you may remember me saying yesterday, I had a bad stomach upset....well, it has taken a while to shake it, and even now I'm not convinced it's gone as I keep getting cramps. So I didn't craft anything yesterday, hence no blog post this morning.

I am pleased to say that I do have something to show you now though, that I made this afternoon :) I wonder if I surreptitiously made this for me?! ;)

I have used a couple of lovely stamp sets and a sentiment set for my card. I first of all cut the aperture in the top card layer using a Framelit from the Ovals Collection. I then stamped the oval from Oh, Hello in place on the base card using Lucky Limeade.

My lovely little 'kissed' bird was inked up with Tempting Turquoise, then 'kissed' with the same oval stamp as in the aperture before fussy cutting him out. The sentiment is from Express Yourself and cut out using Bitty Banners Framelits. Isn't that ribbon stunning? That is the new Calyso Coral Chevron Ribbon. I have it in all the colours and it really is lush! I think I shall be using it an awful lot!

Supplies
Stamps - Morning Meadow, Express Yourself (both Hostess), Oh, Hello
Ink - Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade
Framelits - Bitty Banners, Ovals Collection
Ribbon - Calypso Coral Chevron

A Backyard Basics Sympathy Card

 Good morning all :)
I hope you are well? As I typed this last night, I had a really upset tummy, and bad tummy ache...I hope it's gone by the time this posts this morning :/

So this is a quick post of a card made using the lovely Backyard Basics stamp and framelits bundle.

I used the Woodgrain WF for the backgoround panel and the sentiment is from Morning Meadow Hostess Set.

I finished with a few pearls from my stash.

That's all from me today. Thanks for calling :)

A Manly Thank You

Good morning.
Well, the rain yesterday was very welcome! I actually had a night off watering the garden!

Here is another Thank You card, but this time it has a rather male feel to it.

I have used the Six Sided Sampler stamps and matching punch for my card, and somewhat manly colours, without being dowdy.

Supplies
Cardstock - Crumb Cake
Stamps - Six Sided Sampler, Express Yourself
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Summer Starfruit
Punch - Hexagon

A Handmade Flower, or Two! (using Mosaic Punch)

Hello!
How are you today?
I have finally got round to entering this week's challenge at Less Is More! The theme is

HANDMADE FLOWERS

I LOVE flowers and using them in one way or another on my cards so I thought I would have a go at something I have been meaning to try...

From the minute I saw the Mosaic punch I just knew it would make fab flowers. And I was right!

I stamped and punch 5 'petals' from the Mosaic Bundle, using Calypso Coral cardstock and Basic Black Ink, and arranged them as above. The centre is another handmade flower using the brilliant Simply Pressed Clay. I have a selection of white clay flowers and buttons just ready to colour using my Stampin' Write Markers...I can match them to any project this way!

The scoring was created using my Simply Scored tool and the paper piercing used the Paper Piercing Essentials pack. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners set, cut out using the Bitty Banners Framelits.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White, Calypso Coral
Stamps - Itty Bitty Banners, Mosaic Madness
Ink - Basic Black
Punches/Dies - Bitty Banners Framelits, Mosaic Punch
Tools - Simply Scored, Paper Piercing Essentials Pack
Other - Simply Pressed Clay, Simply Pressed Silicone Moulds, Pearls from stash
Ribbon - Basic Black Taffeta

Thanks so much for your continued support...it means a lot that you all regularly pop by and leave me a comment, even when I don't always get time to comment back! I am trying to get better at it!

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Happy Anniversary

Goooood morning!!
I have had the most wonderful weekend away in Cambridge with my very good friends...we always have a brilliant time! I am totally shattered now though lol!

So here is a card I made for my friend to give to her husband for their anniversary last week.

I will admit that most of the products used are sadly retired, apart from the Labels Collection Framelits and the Ovals Framelits and the Adorning Accents EF, but I wanted to share the card anyway.

If you would like to order any of the current products I have used, or any of the other fabulous new products, please do contact me and I will be very happy to place your order for you.

Please click on the catalogue link on my sidebar to browse the yummy new catalogue, or for £4.95 inc. p&p I can send you your very own copy to drool over and write your wishlist in!

I am off to work now, but hopefully I will be back tomorrow with something made from the current products!

Marry me!

Hello!
Here is another one of the commission cards I've been working on...

This is almost entirely made from retired SU! products....I bet you have some that need using up too? The only current item is the Apothecary Accent Framelit I used to cut the sentiment!

A short and sweet post from me today...I hope to be somewhat back to normal next week!
