Lots of Bundles in a card in a box!

Good morning!
Did you have a good weekend?
Did you watch the football?? I did...I thought we played better than we have done for a long time...shame the result didn't reflect it!

Ah well...back to something we all love...crafting! Here is a card that was a commission for a couple who got married this weekend...

I was given a brief of bunting, spots and stripes, and informal...I think I covered it!

I used the Banner Greetings stamps from this year's Sale-a-bration for the bunting.

I then used a few bundles to create the flowers and the sentiments. Flower Shop, Petite Petals, Secret Garden and Label Love. These bundles are all 15% cheaper when you buy the stamps and punch/framelits together, but do hurry as some of them retire as a bundle on 30th June. (You will still be able to buy some of them individually, just not as a cheaper bundle).

I really enjoyed making this card...in fact, I love making Box Cards lots, I just don't have the time to make them with everything else!

I have Keiran's Sports day today, so I shall be dashing there after work today!

I shall be back tomorrow, so if you like what I posted today, why not become a follower by clicking on one of the links in the sidebar on the right >>>
I'd love it if you did! :)

Eye Catching IKAT

Hi everyone!
We have a brand new sketch challenge at CAS-Colours and Sketches this week and a little bit of freebie news from me!

First of all, here is our sketch...

Now when I designed this sketch I had a fairly good idea what I would do with it, then I got a delivery this week and changed my mind! So here is what I did...

Can you see a new stamp there? Well it's one of the fabulous new Photopolymer Stamps, Eye Catching IKAT, that you can get free! (more on that in a moment) I used Tangerine Tango, Soft Sky and Pear Pizazz markers to give a stripy effect. The leaves are simply one of the stamps, stamped 3 times then cut out.

The sentiment is from Banner Greetings, which is also a free set as it's one of the Hostess sets you could choose from if you spend £150 on one order! To get the striped effect I simply coloured the stamp using my Stampin' Write Markers, first Soft Sky, then Pear Pizazz, then Tangering Tango...fab effect don't you think? I finished with a Candy Dot.

I used the colour combo from Colour Throwdown for my inspiration this week

Now how do you get this fab set for free? Well you can choose one of three exclusive sets for free with every £60 you spend, simples! (there were 4 sets but one is already sold out!)

Now when I started out crafting I always used Photopolymer, then a lot of digi, then Stampin' Up!'s fantastic rubber stamps, so it is lovely to now have Photopolymer as part of the Stampin' Up! product offering, and I have a feeling they are going to be very popular!

If you would like to order any of the products I have used today, please do click on the link to my online shop over on the right >>>> or contact me for a personal touch and more information.

I had a busy and productive day yesterday...I finished painting the garden fence (well almost...ran out of paint!), mowed the front lawn, pulled some weeds and dead-headed the tulips...more work to still be done but I am getting there!

I have a bonus day off today as school is closed for voting, but it is supposed to be wet and rainy so I think indoor activities will be on the cards...crafting anyone?! ;)

Have a wonderful Thursday and see you tomorrow for Frugal Friday!

A Pretty Six Sided Sampler

Hello!
Today I have a pretty little card that I am entering into 2 challenges...
CCMC299

So here is my card

I have used a somewhat neglected stamp set, Six Sided Sampler, but I don't think I have used it in such a girly way before!

I added a flower using the Boho Blossoms Punch and I inked each layer with Gumball Green and Melon Mambo before adding a Candy Dot. The leaves are from the Bird Builder punch and I also inked those. The sentiment is from the hostess set Banner Greetings.

I really like the way this card turned out...funny how one stamp set can look so different each time you use it!

Enjoy your Easter Monday...extra day off!

A sketchy birthday!

Good morning Sketchers!
It's the 5th Saturday of the month which means this week at Sketch Saturday we have a little treat for you...you can choose any of the past sketches from #215!! So pretty much free rein to create anything you like!

I have chosen Sketch #223 for my card

I decided it was time to use some of the stunning designer papers that Stampin' Up! have to offer...I seem to hoard them! The ones I have used are the Bermuda Bay polka dots from Brights DSP stack, and the pink is from Quatrefancy. This is a colour combo I am rather loving at the moment!

The stamps are Flowering Flourishes, Papillon Potpourri and the free hostess Banner Greetings. I wanted a simple image so that it stood out against the bright colours...I think it worked! And we mustn't forget the polka dot embossing in the background.
