Unusual coloured snowflake, and exciting news!

Good evening all!
So if you popped by last night or earlier today, you will have seen me mention the new Spring/Summer catalogue, which launches tomorrow! You will also remember that I said I would have more news today? Well I have!

But you'll have to wait until after I show another of my Christmas cards. I was asked to make some 'different' coloured cards, and this is just one of them...

I decided that I would try Hello Honey and Rich Razzelberry...can't get much more different right?! I die cut a snowflake from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies into my top layer, and stamped my sentiment from Endless Wishes, also in Rich Razzelberry and Hello Honey.

I coloured some Silver Glimmer Paper using a Rich Razzelberry Stampin' Write Marker and popped it behind the snowflake...it's very sparkly in real life! I finished with a Basic Rhinestone.

You have until 10.55pm tonight to order from the Autumn Winter catalogue, so do get in quick if there is anything you have your eye on!

Ok so you want to hear the other awesome news right??

Well here goes...
Along with the launch of the Spring/Summer catalogue, I am also very excited to tell you about the best time in the Stampin' Up! year!

Sale-a-Bration!

What is Sale-a-Bration?? Well, for every £45 you spend with me, either through me, my online shop, or as part of Stampers 6, you get to choose a free item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure!

How incredible is that??

There is also a fabulous joining offer...
When you join up, not only do you get to create your own starter kit with £135 worth of products for only £99, but you can also choose from a free kit of your choice from the Spring/Summer catalogue, or two free Sale-a-Bration items of your choice!!

So all in all, tomorrow is a very exciting day for all you crafters out there!

If you would like any more information, please do feel free to contact me...I am very happy to help, and I am always ready to answer any questions you may have!

I shall say goodnight for now, but I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Blendabilities!!

Hello!
I'm here with my DT card for Sketch Saturday for this week...yes, I know, I'm late! But it's still Saturday at least!

So here is this week's sketch, designed by Niki...

I have been playing with Stampin' Up!'s brand new Blendabilities and I have to say that I am rather liking them!!

I have used pretty much all of them to colour this stamp from In This Together, (well I wanted to try them all!!), but I have combined them with Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pen for the colours that are not available in Blendies. (See...I even have a nickname for them!)

I used Rich Razzleberry DSP, Coastal Cabana Core'dinations, and some Ruffle Stretch Ribbon for the background. Can you see how well the ink matches the paper and ribbon? That is one of the things I love about Stampin' Up!...there is no longer any guess work to match up papers with coloured images!

So what are you going to make? We're looking forward to seeing your creations!

Keiran and I are running our local Race for Life tomorrow...it's Keiran's first time and he's looking forward to it! If you would like to sponsor us, you can do via Just Giving on the link below...

Thank you for your support! :)
Goodnight!

An economical card!

Good morning!
I spent most of last night designing the inserts for a friend's wedding, which I have to say, I am extremely happy with...I hope Laura is just as happy! I'm sure I will be blogging them eventually!

Anyway, it's time for our new challenge this week at CAS - Colours and Sketches, and this week it's the double!

Here is my card...

This is what I call a very economical card...it only uses one stamp set! And it is a lovely new one from the Spring/Summer catalogue, called Peachy Keen.

I stamped the heart once onto the card blank, then stamped again, cut it out and popped it up on Dimensionals, after stamping the sentiment across the middle. The arrows are stamped in Blushing Bride and Soft Sky.

After I had photographed the card, I decided it needed a little something else, so I added some nail gem pearls...

What do you think? With or without pearls?

Best wishes

Hello!
I was so proud of my little man last night...he got his 5m AND 10m badges for swimming! I'm chuffed to bits!

Anyway, here is today's card for you, again using Simply Sketched - I so love this set!

I just cut out the flower head this time, twice, and added some leaves from Stippled Blossoms (another set I love!)

The sentiment is from Express Yourself; another hostess set.

You could get your hands on these hostess items, or others, simply by placing your order through my online shop using this week's mystery hostess code...

MAXYUMSP

The code is valid until midnight Friday 13th September, and if the combined orders reach £150, I will email the winner of the hostess credits on Saturday morning.

There are a couple of things I would like to point out to make your online ordering experience easier...

1. If you are ordering a stamp set with wording, please ensure you have ordered the correct language...many of the sets are available in English, French and German, and the English version doesn't necessarily present itself first.

2. If you can, please order using product code numbers from the catalogue...it help minimise mistakes :)

3. The search engine doesn't currently bring up just the item you search for, so you make have to scroll through the pages...another great reason to use product codes.

4. Finally, please do make sure that my name is in the top right corner of the online shopping page, then you know you're ordering from me :)

All codes can be found in your catalogue, or by browsing the catalogue links on my sidebar.
If you would like a physical copy of the catalogue to drool over, please do contact me! They are £4.95 including postage, but I will refund the £4.95 if you place an online order of £25 or more!

Thank you for stopping by today...see you tomorrow! :)

We've had a lovely day today at the new Sealife Centre in Manchester. We did have to queue for about an hour, but it was good when we got inside. In fact, the colours used on my second card really remind me of the coral on display!

Have a good evening :)

Good morning!
Are you enjoying the bank holiday and the extra day off work? I am!
I do have a card for you that I made Saturday night to fit in with the Less Is More colour challenge this week...

If you remember from my post on Saturday, the challenge is to use two opposite colours on the colour wheel...

I really love this buttefly set, in particular this traditional looking butterfly, from the Papillon Potpourri stamps...so elegant!

Ink - Island Indigo, Bashful Blue, Rich Razzleberry
Framelits - Bitty Banners
Other - Island Indigo Satin Ribbon, Designer Buttons

Need For Speed!

Good morning!
Here is another card I made at Jen's on Saturday...can you see a theme yet? Yup! Men! I needed some male cards so I have made quite a few!

I embossed my Night of Navy card panel with the Argyle EF, and then trimmed the edge for some shape. It was supposed to be the other way round but I didn't notice til the whole card was stuck down lol! I stamped the car in Rich Razzleberry and fussy cut it out, mounting it on Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamps - Need For Speed, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink - More Mustard, Rich Razzleberry

Ok....who hid spring??? Either that or I fell asleep last night and woke up next winter!

Oh well....perfect crafting weather! ;)
I have to make the most of today as I won't get too much crafting time this week, as Keiran is off for Easter.

So it's deadline day! It is the very last day to order for this year's Sale-A-Bration promotion! I am very sad about it, I have to say :( It has been wonderful and I am so proud to have been a part of it in my first year as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

So, to bid a fond farewell, I have a little something to show you that I had sent out in my ladies' parcels earlier this month, that showcases some of the gorgeous SAB freebies!

I used Vintage Verses & Bloomin' Marvellous stamps and Sycamore Street Papers.

Each little envelope had a thank you card and a few of the stunning Vintage Faceted Buttons inside, like a package of little diamonds!

I finished with a little thank you from the Itty Bitty Banners set.
