I have used a gorgeous Pollycraft image for my card, and coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are Back 2 Basics II and the embossing folder is by Crafts Too. I finished with a little glitter on the cloud and stars. Oh and the sentiment is from Lili of The Valley.

Christmas In June!

Good afternoon!

Well it seems ages since I crafted in the afternoon, but I got that chance yesterday while Keiran watched a dvd! And here is what I made...

Yup...a Christmas card! Well the title did give it away lol!

This is Aurelia Joy from Pollycraft...isn't she pretty? I have coloured her with Promarkers. The papers are some random strips I had in my DP box...sorry, no idea what they are. I inked the edges of them with Seafoam Versacolour to make them stand out a little, as I didn't want to cut a whole new sheet of matching background card! I then added lots of glitter and gems. Oh and the sentiment is a free Polka Doodles one from a mag last Christmas. 

Oh one last thing...when I had put the card together and picked it up to admire it and take a photo, I had stuck it all on the wrong way so it was a backwards card! I had originally made the card to the actual layout of the sketch but I had to turn the image so the card could be opened lol! Of course, now the papers are all sideways but what can you do! I was going to cut the card in half and re-mount the entire front panel onto a new card blank, but I decided it didn't look too bad...

I did get some good news this morning though. Keiran got an offer of placement at the school I wanted him to get into! So that's one thing less to worry about! :)

I actually made this card for my friend to give to her God Daughter. The image is Luna Rocks from Pollycraft, and she is coloured with Promarkers. I then used paper from Pixel Scrapper and ribbon and a mini cd from my stash.

Magical Birthday

Good afternoon!

Yippee it's Friday! Though not as exciting as last Friday as I was on a train to Edinburgh this time last week...oh well...a crafting weekend ahead of me! Oh nope...forgot..I'm helping Jen with decorating the craft studio on Sunday! Ok...crafting before and after work tomorrow then! 

Anyway, here is a card I've made today for a couple of challenges, one of which is Sketch Saturday #194...it's my last chance to enter before I become a Saturday Girl tomorrow! Sort of bittersweet as I love entering their challenges but I am soooo excited to be one of the Saturdays! Yay! :D

I have used the very cute and pretty Pollycraft Fairy and coloured her with Promarkers. I used a cream hammered card base and Pink Petticoat papers. I added a little glitter to her wings and Glossy Accents to her eyes. The sentiment is LoTV and the flowers are Prima. The pearls and ribbon are from my stash.

Good morning all!

Well today's the day...I'm off to Edinburgh to meet up with some really good friends and have a girlie weekend...just hope the weather lets us all get there!

It's our friend Chelsey's birthday soon so I'm taking her card with me, and here it is...

Now in her 'chill out' time, Chels loves learning to play guitar so this card is totally her! 

The Pollycraft image is coloured with Promarkers, the background has been created by stamping various elements from a Making Memories stamp set, as are the stars. The sentiment was stamped using a Studio G alphabet stamp set, series 4. All the stamping was done using Encore silver ink. Oh and the mini cd are some I got a little while ago, just for card making! £1 for 5 off Ebay! :)

Chilled out for Pollycraft!

Good morning!

Well just for a change, I had a colouring night last night, and decided to colour an image for this week's Pollycraft - Chill Out challenge, as I haven't entered for ages! I don't really know why I haven't either...

I have coloured her with Promarkers and added some glitter and snow. I also used my new white pen Jen gave me for my Birthday to add snow falling....I love the effect, thanks Jen! :)

The DP is from the free (from Quick Cards) Kate Night Christmas Collection paperstack and the black is from the black scraps folder. The sentiment, snowflake and ribbon are from my stash.

Good Morning!

I have been sat here making a card with dye on my hair this morning lol! I really wanted to enter the sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week, and so I decided to do it this morning. Unfortunately, the collection is closed! :( I thought it would close tomorrow or later today but no, it already is! Oh well...here is the card anyway....

I have used another gorgeous Pollycraft image from the Swings 'n Slides collection, and coloured with Promarkers. the papers are Back to Basics, and the ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions. The flowers are Prima.

Ok here is the last one for now....I wanted to save this and post it in the morning so I could enter it into the Magical Mondays challenge but I'll miss the Pollycraft challenge if I do that so I'm posting now!

For a change, I've used a Pollycraft 'Swings 'n Slides' image. Again, this one has been coloured for some time, with Promarkers, but I freshened it up a little today as my skills have developed somewhat since the original colouring. The papers are just scraps from Jen's drawer and the sentiment is computer printed. The cute little fish, Ric-Rac and pearls are also from Jen...it's so nice to be 'shopping' her stash...it feels like proper shopping without the expense! ;)

Welcome, Little Star

Well hello again!

I seem to really be on a roll these last couple of days! Here is another commission card for a new baby girl.

The image, for those who don't recognise it lol, is Pollycraft and is coloured with Promarkers. I have embossed the background with a Sizzix folder (I think) and border bunched the edge using a Martha Stewart punch. The strip of paper is Back 2 Basics II. I have added a little glitter to the stars and the cloud.

A Little Football

Good afternoon all!

I have two cards for you today. The first is for a friend's Son's birthday. 

The image is Footballer Jack from Pollycraft and is coloured with Promarkers. The papers are all Nitwit - Candle Cakes Solids and Candle Cakes Too. The sentiment is printed and I finished with a handmade Football Card Candi! Oh and the ribbon is of a lovely golden chocolate rabbit I got (and ate!) some time ago.

Patchwork Rocking Horse

Good evening!

I have had a very busy week, as you've probably noticed by the lack of blogging I've done, but now it's time to relax as I go on holiday to Wales tomorrow! :) I have been busy tonight making 3 sample cards for Ooh La La's Create & Craft show later in the month, using their new Christmas CD......and may I say, the images I got were FAB! Can't wait for the new cd! :)

Anyway, here is my card for today......

I have made a mechanical slider card, the instructions for which I got from Quick Cards Issue 91 and the papers are Sweet Wishes free with Papercraft Essentials. The image is Pollycraft, coloured with Promarkers. The slider works by gently pulling the tab on the right of the card.

This is from Pollycraft and coloured with Promarkers. I have used Coredinations card and embossed it with Swiss Dots folder. The flowers, dew drops and gems are from the stash. Oh and I have 'felt-pieced' the umbrella to go with this week's Pollycraft Challenge.

A Bright New Home!

Good morning all!

Well I haven't had much craft-time this week due to fun things happening! Mum and Dad visiting twice, going for a play date with my son at his friend's house tomorrow morning. Oh and PASSING MY DRIVING THEORY TEST! :D Yes I know I'm shouting but I feel like shouting it lol! Imagine what I'll be like when I pass my practical test!!

Anyway, here is a little card I have made for my friend who's house warming party I am going to this weekend....in Holland! :D I just hope she doesn't peek on here before I go....... :-S

This very cute little house is a Pollycraft image, coloured with (my new) Promarkers.....yes I have almost the full set now! I just need Maroon as somehow I missed it off my list when I got them all discounted at Letraset this weekend! The papers are Paper Cellar - Easter/Spring and it's the first time I've used them! I do love all the colours though and I thought they are perfect for a fresh start in a new house! :)

Hello again!

Well I really seem to be on a bit of a roll the latter end of this week! I decided to check out some new blogs for challenges and it seems to have re-invented my mojo, for a while anyway!

So here is a little creation I made This afternoon and just finished now.

The image is (again) Pollycraft......another that was already coloured (with Promarkers) in my stash! The papers are Dovecraft Back 2 Basics, the ribbon from the stash, and the flowers were made from scraps of paper using Marianne Designables and some seed beads.

Good afternoon!

Yay I've made another card! I'm trying not to let my mojo slip too far......it has been quite elusive lately! I am also attempting to use up all the stamps and digis I have printed and/or coloured! I have so many and there are so many more I want.......sorry, no, NEED! ;) I'm sure everyone feels the same lol! Anyway, here is one I have managed to use up......

This cute little Tomboy is from Pollycraft and she's coloured with Promarkers. I have used a Wild Rose Studio flowery backgound paper and First Editions green swirly and pink striped papers. Finished with Card Candi and a Papermania sentiment. The ribbon was just a small scrap I had.
