Golden Feel Goods

Hello peeps!
I have something a little different for you today...a commissioned Stampin' Framed I made a couple of weeks ago.

This is made using the ever stunning Swallowtail stamp and one of the verses from Feel Goods...there are some lovely verses in this set!

I was asked to make this for a Golden Wedding Anniversary, with the theme of red and gold. The Swallowtail is stamped in Real Red and the sentiment is heat embossed in Gold Stampin' Emboss. I got perfect placement of my sentiment using my Stamp-a-ma-juig...I don't know what I'd do without it!

Here is what I used...
Keiran has his school photos today and he was left at school with strict instructions not to remove his jumper before his photo is taken...given how warm it is I fully expect him to and for him to have a Mohican in his pictures!

Golden Poppies

Hello everyone!
As you may (or may not) know, I have a lot of commissioned projects that I am working on, which is really keeping me busy! I have got one of them to show you today. I have, as always, asked permission to show it so all's good :)

The brief for this one was to use the 2 photos, poppies and it was for a Golden Anniversary. I did struggle for a while, I think because I was trying to come up with something using red poppies. Then I realised that I needed to forget red, which is when I came up with stamping them in gold Encore, which I think really works, don't you?

I printed the photos in sepia which worked better than colour, then added the 'Mr & Mrs', which is gold embossed onto Vellum cardstock. The Crochet Trim and Gold Sequin Trim are perfectly placed to ground the poppies.
