Stippled Birthday Blossoms

Good morning!
Today it is colour challenge day at CAS - Colours and Sketches, and Jacqueline has some lovely autumnal colours for you...

I did a bit of 'random stamping' for my card (it's a technical term, honest!)

I used the Mossy Meadow to randomly stamp the leaves from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set.

I stamped the '2 step stamp' flowers first in Crisp Cantaloupe, then used the darker Calypso Coral for the highlighted areas, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect placement. The light flower was created by stamping each stamp again before re-inking. I do love these flowers...they are so effective with very little effort! The sentiment is from Remembering Your Birthday and is stamped in Calypso Coral.

As this post goes live, I shall be at the airport waiting for my flight to Brussels for the Stampin' Up! convention...the highlight of my Stampin' Up! year! Keep an eye out over the weekend for pictures of my swaps and a very special birthday card!

Stippled Birthday

Good morning!
Another quick post from me this morning. Remember the Stampin' Framed I made for Keiran's Nanna and Grandad? Well it is also Nanna's birthday on the same day as their anniversary so here is the card I made her...

Again, I used Stippled Blossoms and the leaves from Secret Garden.

I used a sentiment from hostess set Express Yourself and finished with some Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.

Right...must dash...visiting my best friend from school today!
Have a good one!

Stippled Blossoms bringing sunshine

Hi, hi, hi everyone!
I hope your weekend is going well? I have so far spent it working, crafting, getting Keiran through a tricky level of Skylanders and catching up on 3 episodes of Nashville! And work tomorrow!

For now though, let me show you one of the things I made last night...

This is a frame I have made for Keiran's Nanna and Grandad for their wedding anniversary on Tuesday. They are two very cheerful and fun people and they help me so much with looking after Keirna so I can work both on my job and my Stampin' Up business, so this sentiment is perfect for them! They have recently had their living room decorated so I took inspiration from this for the frame.

I used Feel Goods and Stippled Blossoms, teamed with the leaves from Secret Garden and Summer Silhouettes which were stamped in Sahara Sand. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red and heat embossed it in clear Stampin' Emboss powder. I finished with Real Red Candy Dots.

Here is a picture of their living room to show you where the inspiration came from.

That wallpaper is practically Stippled Blossoms isn't it?

Here is what I used to create this frame

Frugal Friday #3

Hi everyone!

*if you are looking for this week's posts, please scroll down*

Thank you to the three of you who entered my second Frugal Friday challenge...you are all my top 3!
Huge congrats on using your stash ladies, I hope you'll play again this week! :)

So onto this week's card, and the picture of my scraps...

I think I'm getting more, not less!

Did you spot the bits I used? I punched out the sentiment (hiding under a strip of pink card) using the Decorative Label punch, then added the strips of Afternoon Picnic DSP and the fussy cut Stippled Blossoms flower.

I scored either side of each of the strips of DSP to give them a raised look. I CASEs my card from Kate's entry into my first challenge...I really like the way to use the DSP...thanks for the inspiration Kate!

These scraps are left from my Sketch Saturday card this week...do pop back tomorrow to see it.

Sketch Saturday #310 DT card

Hi all!
Today I have my card for this week's sketch at Sketch Saturday.
First, the sketch...

And now my card...

I used Stippled Blossoms and Feel Goods for my card, stamped in Crushed Curry and Wild Wasabi.

Here are close ups of the fabulous flowers from this brilliant 2 step set. These flowers are so easy to stamp using a Stamp-a-Majig. Simply stamp the main flower, then the detail over the top...beautiful!
And here is the whole card...

Do you recognise the same Designer Series Paper as I used in yesterday's card? In case you missed it, I used Afternoon Picnic DSP, this time I distressed the edges with my distressing tool.
This card is a lot less CAS and a lot more fussy than I have been used to lately, but I think I really like it! So much so, I may just make it into a Stampin' Framed!

If you would like details of the products I used today, please see yesterday's post.

If you would like to place an order for any of the current products I have used here, please feel free to contact me, or alternatively you can order direct from my online shop (the link is over in my sidebar>>>)

I am going to be enjoying an awesome day in Telford today at our Regional St5ampin' Up! training...I may even get a sneaky peek of the new catalogue!

More thanks!

Good morning!
Here are a couple more Thank You cards to send with some orders I have going out this week...

I had a couple of the Stippled Blossoms flowers left from a workshop I did a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to get them used up!

This first flower is actually the second stamping of the stamps, after I had stamped the flower I needed, creating a softer colour.

Here is the first stamping...

Can you see the difference in the colours? And that was just from one inking!

I went for paper piercing on this second one.
Which do you prefer?

If you would like to purchase any of the products I have used here, please do visit my online store where you can also be entered into this month's Mystery Hostess club for your chance to win this month's hostess freebies!

Alternatively, please feel free to contact me with your order, or any queries you may have.

Challenges

I'm off to church, then work...hope your day is more crafting than working! ;)

Best wishes

Hello!
I was so proud of my little man last night...he got his 5m AND 10m badges for swimming! I'm chuffed to bits!

Anyway, here is today's card for you, again using Simply Sketched - I so love this set!

I just cut out the flower head this time, twice, and added some leaves from Stippled Blossoms (another set I love!)

The sentiment is from Express Yourself; another hostess set.

You could get your hands on these hostess items, or others, simply by placing your order through my online shop using this week's mystery hostess code...

MAXYUMSP

The code is valid until midnight Friday 13th September, and if the combined orders reach £150, I will email the winner of the hostess credits on Saturday morning.

There are a couple of things I would like to point out to make your online ordering experience easier...

1. If you are ordering a stamp set with wording, please ensure you have ordered the correct language...many of the sets are available in English, French and German, and the English version doesn't necessarily present itself first.

2. If you can, please order using product code numbers from the catalogue...it help minimise mistakes :)

3. The search engine doesn't currently bring up just the item you search for, so you make have to scroll through the pages...another great reason to use product codes.

4. Finally, please do make sure that my name is in the top right corner of the online shopping page, then you know you're ordering from me :)

All codes can be found in your catalogue, or by browsing the catalogue links on my sidebar.
If you would like a physical copy of the catalogue to drool over, please do contact me! They are £4.95 including postage, but I will refund the £4.95 if you place an online order of £25 or more!

Challenges
Thank you for stopping by today...see you tomorrow! :)
