Blendabilities!!

Hello!
I'm here with my DT card for Sketch Saturday for this week...yes, I know, I'm late! But it's still Saturday at least!

So here is this week's sketch, designed by Niki...

I have been playing with Stampin' Up!'s brand new Blendabilities and I have to say that I am rather liking them!!

I have used pretty much all of them to colour this stamp from In This Together, (well I wanted to try them all!!), but I have combined them with Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pen for the colours that are not available in Blendies. (See...I even have a nickname for them!)

I used Rich Razzleberry DSP, Coastal Cabana Core'dinations, and some Ruffle Stretch Ribbon for the background. Can you see how well the ink matches the paper and ribbon? That is one of the things I love about Stampin' Up!...there is no longer any guess work to match up papers with coloured images!

So what are you going to make? We're looking forward to seeing your creations!

Keiran and I are running our local Race for Life tomorrow...it's Keiran's first time and he's looking forward to it! If you would like to sponsor us, you can do via Just Giving on the link below...

Thank you for your support! :)
Goodnight!

Everything Eleanor

Hello all and thanks for popping by today!
We have a new challenge over at CAS-Colours and Sketches, and this week is a colour challenge...

This is such a fresh colour combination, don't you think? So I wanted to make something clean and fresh...here it is!

Do you recognise the stamp set? That's right...it's Everything Eleanor, teamed with some Coastal Cabana Ruffled Stretch Ribbon.

The medallion was stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe, and the flowers were stamped in Wisteria Wonder. I finished with a few nail art pearls. I haven't decided on a sentiment yet.

There are some gorgeous DT cards, so do pop over and see their cards too...we're looking forward to seeing your entries!

Have you seen the Weekly Deals this week?? There are some fab items on there, with fabulous discounts! Do pop on over and have a look...remember, they are only on offer for one week!

There have been some problems with the online shop this week, so if you are struggling to place an order, please give me a shout and I'll be very happy to place your order for you, still direct to your home!

I've spent a few hours over the last couple of days jet washing my back garden, so now I am starting to feel like my garden is getting to how I want it to be! I might even get time to enjoy it this summer!

In fact I have been working so hard on the garden I think Keiran felt guilty as he said 'I'll do the washing up Mummy so you can finish your tea and have a longer rest!' How cute?? And he did it too! Only 6 and he knows how to get on my good side! ;)

Have a lovely Thursday and hopefully I'll see you tomorrow!

Cute owl and a storm!

Good morning all!
Did you get a storm last night? I stood in it  for ages trying to get some pictures of the lightening...I don't think I've seen such an incredible storm before! Anyway, here are the only 2 (out of about 150!) that show the lightening...

Love this one!

Anyway, I'm sure the real reason you came to visit was to see what I have made today? Oh go on then! ;)

This cute little card makes fab use of the Owl Punch...I think this is the first card I have made with it! I added a little Ruffle Stretch Trim (retiring) to make a little tutu...cute isn't it?!

I popped the owl onto a die cut oval which I had paper pierced around to keep the card clean looking. The '3' is meant to look like a balloon...I used an owl 'foot' for the bottom of the balloon, and covered it in Crystal Effects.

If you would like to order any of these fab products, please click on my shop link over there on the right >>>>

I used the layout at Friday Sketch Challenge for my inspiration as it work perfectly!

I hope today is a good day for you...I shall be working on commissions when I get back from the gym!

A Christmas flower

How is your week going? Mine is very busy, but looking good!
Here is a card I made for my Stampers 6 this month...I'm only showing one because, as usual, I packed them all before photographing them!

I love this colour combo! I have used the Winter Frost papers and punched out the main flower with the Blossom Punch, and cut the middle out following the pattern.

The ribbon is Coastal Cabana Stretch Ruffle Trim and I finished with some Silver Glass Glitter in the centre of the flower. The sentiment is from Pretty Petites.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White, Smoky Slate
Stamp - Petite Pairs
Ink - Basic Gray
Designer Series Paper - Winter Frost
Ribbon - Coastal Cabana Ruffle Stretch Trim
Punch - Blossom Punch
Glitter - Silver Glass Glitter

If you would like to buy any of the products I have used here, or in any of my projects, please do click through to my online shop using the link on my sidebar.

I am starting a new Stampers 6 club in January, just in time for the new Sale-a-Bration promotion, where you will receive free products for every £45 spend! If you would like to know more about Stampers 6, you can read about it hereor feel free to contact me with any queries.

I really love the CAS Designer Paper challenge at Less is More this week, so I am having another go with this card. I am also entering it into the challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch...

I am off to the Stampin' Up! Convention tomorrow, and I can't wait! I'm sure there will be a lot for me to show/tell you, so please do come and read all about it!

Babies Fill Your Heart With Happy!

Hello all!
It's time for a new challenge at CAS - Colours and Sketches, and this week it is a sketch.

This a one of my 'go to' sketches when I am struggling to create a card...it's quite adaptable I think.

So here is my card...

I am desperately short of new baby cards for my stall so I may be making a few over the next few weeks. For this one I have cut my aperture out of Whisper White card with one of the hearts framelits, then embossed either side using Adorning Accents EF.

Then, using my Stamp-a-Majig for perfect placement, I stamped the sentiment from Cuddles and Kisses into the aperture, directly onto my Strawberry Slush card blank. I finished with some of the lush Ruffle Stretch Trim before popping the panel up on Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by and I really look forward to seeing how you use my sketch! :)

Strawberry Slush Birthday for my Mum!

Hello!
First things first, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to my newest follower, Sid. I hope you enjoy my blog!

Did you all have a nice weekend? I was working for most of it, but I still managed to make this card, which is for my Mum's birthday tomorrow. (Don't worry, she doesn't look at my blog!)

I have used my new stamp set, Apothecary Art, which is one of the 25% off sets, now only £18.71 for a two pack stamp set! You can buy it here.

I stamped the image in Smoky Slate then coloured the flowers and leaves with Primrose Petals and Old Olive. I stamped a second image panel and raised it up on the base image. The paper is Strawberry Slush from the In Colour 2013/15 DSP stack. I finished with Strawberry Slush Ruffle Stretch Ribbon and a little bit of bling.

Today is your last chance to get your discounted stamps so don't miss out! You can order yours here

I hope the predicted storm doesn't cause any damage where you are. Stay safe. Even better, stay in and craft!

Some Bright Blossoms!

Good morning all (again!)
So have you seen the very exciting news?? If you haven't, click here and read all about the 25% off 25 stamps promotion!

I have something to show you using one of the stamps that is on offer, and it is also the swap I created for my crafting reward day in Frodsham on Sunday.

I have used the Bright Blossoms stamp set and all this year's In Colours for this card. The embossed frame is created using the Designer Frames embossing folders and the ribbon is Crisp Cantaloupe Ruffle Stretch Ribbon. I finished with the sentiment from the hostess set Express Yourself and some Crystal Effects on the flowers.

Here are all 14 of my swaps, and I got some stunning swaps back! It was a brilliant day crafting with fellow Pinkies Demos and I learnt lots of things, got loads of ideas, and made 3 fantastic projects which I will show you this week.

If you would like to order any of the special 25% off stamps sets, you can do so by clicking on my shop now button on my sidebar, or feel free to contact me and I will place your order for you! You only have 1 week to grab a bargain!!
Bye for now! :)

A card for a very special lady!

Good morning!
I have a really feminine, girlie Birthday card for you today. This was a commission for a lady at church who turned 100 on Sunday...yes, 100! And let me tell you, she really does not look a day over 80! She still walks well, without a walking stick, barely has any wrinkles and doesn't even need glasses! One very incredible lady!!

Anyway, about the card...

I have used a bit of the gorgeous, but retired, Twitterpated DSP and teamed it with some of the lovely new ribbons, and the Stippled Blossoms stamp.

The sentiment was created in Word, using the Stampin' Up! RGB codes to get just the right colour (if you would like the codes, please contact me).

Supplies
Stamp - Stippled Blossoms
Ink - Primrose Petals, Pretty In Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Pistachio Pudding, Baja Breeze, Island Indigo, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette
Ribbon - Blushing Bride Stitched Grossgrain, Pistachio Pudding Ruffled Stretch Ribbon
Other - Designer Builder Brads

If you would like to get some of the lovely products shown here, or in any of my other posts, please do contact me and I will be delighted to order them for you.

I think this card would have been perfect for my Grandma for her birthday too. It would have been her 95th birthday today and I'm sure she'd have loved a card like this. Sadly, she passed away 2 and half years ago, but she is still missed.
Happy birthday Grandma xxx

A Modern Wedding Card

Good morning!
Wow we had a lot of rain last night! Did you? We started off camping in the back garden, but it didn't last long! We came inside at the first sign of lightening!

So I am here with a card that I made to enter into the DT call at Stampin' Celebration, and here is the inspiration photo...

And here is the card I made...

Yes, this IS a tent fold DL card! I have a lot of A3 cardstock so I can make pretty much any size card blank I like!

The main panel is stamped using one of the heart stamps from Hearts a Flutter, stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe, using my Stamp-a -majig for perfect placement. The flower was created using the small heart punch, and the top panel is the new Co-ordinations card, also in Crisp Cantaloupe, embossed using one of the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders and gently sanded to lift the colour off the hearts.

The sentiment is from Sweet Essentials and I punched it out using just the ends of the Elegant Label Punch. I finished with some of the gorgeous new Ruffle Stretch Trim and a few seed beads from my stash.

Supplies
Cardstock - Co-ordinations
Stamps - Hearts a Flutter, Sweet Essentials
Ink - Crisp Cantaloupe
Punches - Small Heart, Elegant Label
Embossing - Adorning Accents EF
Ribbon - Ruffle Stretch Trim

If you would like to order any of the other fabulous new products, and have the opportunity to earn some of the gorgeous hostess items, please do contact me and I will be very happy to place your order for you.

Please click on the catalogue link on my sidebar to browse the yummy new catalogue, or for £4.95 inc. p&p I can send you your very own copy to drool over and write your wishlist in!
