Less Is More - Guest Designer!

Good morning LIMettes!
I am super excited this morning because I have been asked to be a guest designer this week at Less Is More for this week's challenge! Now, as much as I will miss getting up at 8am and quickly creating a card in 15 minutes, I have to say that I am sure I am enjoying a lie-in as this post publishes itself!

So this week the challenge is

SCALLOPS

I have lots of things with scallops on, so I am going to show you a few cards this morning.

Here is the first...

For this one, I have used Delicate Designs embossing folder which I think gives a lovely lacy effect. The sentiment is from Vintage Verses and I the ribbon is Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Edge. The clever thing here is the scalloped circle. It is made by using the Small Heart punch. Clever eh?

So onto the next card, which is for a commission...

For the background on this one I heat embossed the flourish from the Flowering Flourishes set. The sentiment is computer generated and foiled with Jen's Foil It machine, then cut out using the Labels Collection Framelits. The scalloped border was again created using the Small Heart Punch.

The final card is also for a commission and is similar to the previous card...

I made the scallops on this card using the Adorning Accents Edglits and the embossed strip is from the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders.

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Stamps - Vintage Verses (SAB)
Inks - Daffodil Delight, Wisteria Wonder
Embossing - Delicate Designs, Adorning Accents
Dies - Adorning Accents Edglits, Labels Collection Framelits
Punch - Small Heart
Ribbon - Ruffled Edge

Fluttering By

Good evening!
I know I'm a wee bit late, but I'm enjoying the crafting in the newly organised room, so much so I'm forgetting to blog lol!

I have a card here which I the last of a large Mother's Day order. The customer received them on Tuesday and she was thrilled with  all 6 of them !

I used Summer Silhouettes and Papillon Pot Pourri for this card, and my new best friend, my Stamp-a-majig! I used really soft colours...for this one. There is only one photo of it, and I only have that because I took a pic on my phone to send to my customer, then forgot to take 'proper' photos of it!

Supplies
Cardstock - Whisper White
Stamps - Summer Silhouettes, Papillon Pot Pourri
Ink (markers) - Pool Party, Island Indigo, Old Olive
Edgelits - Adorning Accents
Ribbon - Pool Party Ruffled Edge Ribbon

Challenges
Flutterby Wednesday - Open (though this was supposed to be entered into last week's sketch but I forgot to enter it!)

Right...gotta go finish a card!
Goodnight!

An Elegant Christmas Card!

Good morning!
I had a very productive day at Jen's yesterday....we're all ready for our Stampin' Up! party next Sunday! If anyone would like to come to it from 2pm, please do let me know...the more the merrier and I have a lovely little make and take to show you....

Anyway, here is one of the cards I made yesterday...

I have used the gorgeous Snowflake Die from the last Christmas catalogue and I've cut it out in Silver Glimmer card, and may I just say, the photos so do not show in an way just how fabulously sparkly this card is! It is just so stunning!

The embossing folder is also from the same catalogue. I hope these return in this year's catalogue! I finished with some Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, stamped in Perfect Plum.

If you would like to become part of my new Stampers 6 club starting in March, please do get in touch. You can find details of the club here

Remembering Mum #1

Good evening!
I have had a lovely afternoon crafting with Jen, and here is one of the cards I have made. The theme was an idea requested by a friend of mine as she struggles to find cards to place on her parent's graves at special times of the year. So this one is for her Mum for Mother's Day...

I coloured the Flowering Flourishes stamp with my Stampin' Write Markers before stamping, giving a very subtle effect, which is just what I was looking for with this card. I mounted the panel onto Wisteria Wonder card. The sentiment is computer generated.

I finished with a few of the tiny butterflies from Embosslits Beautiful Wings.

Supplies used on this card
Cardstock - Whisper White
Inks (Markers) - Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder
Stamps - Flowering Flourishes
Ribbon - Ruffled Edge Wisteria Wonder
