A little set of Sale-a-Bration sneak peek cards!

Good morning! Is it a good Monday morning or are you back at work and wishing you weren't? I am back at work after having this weekend off, which I spent visiting my best friend Sarah and my parents....lovely!

Before I went I had a couple of hours in my craft room and I made these using all new Sale-a-Bration sneak peek freebies! There will be more info on this fab deal later this week!

I have used two of the lovely stamp sets, a new punch and just a few complimentary colours to create this set of cards. They are 10cm x 10cm square cards...aren't they cute?

I used Banner Blast and See Ya Later stamp sets, and Island Indigo, Raspberry Ripple and Pretty In Pink Stampin' Write markers.

The little banners were punched out using the cute little banner punch.

I am entering my cards into the challenge at Less is More, using week 55 - punches or die cuts.

Do you have any plans for today? Apart from work, we may be catching up with another friend too!
Have a lovely day, whatever you're doing!

Need For Speed!

Good morning!
Here is another card I made at Jen's on Saturday...can you see a theme yet? Yup! Men! I needed some male cards so I have made quite a few!

I embossed my Night of Navy card panel with the Argyle EF, and then trimmed the edge for some shape. It was supposed to be the other way round but I didn't notice til the whole card was stuck down lol! I stamped the car in Rich Razzleberry and fussy cut it out, mounting it on Stampin' Dimensionals.

Supplies
Cardstock - More Mustard, Midnight Muse
Designer Series Paper - Brights
Stamps - Need For Speed, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink - More Mustard, Rich Razzleberry
Framelits - Bitty Banners
Embossing Folder - Argyle

If you would like to order any of the products I have used, please do contact me and I would be happy to help. Alternatively, you could join my next Stampers 6 club starting in June...see here for more information, and please feel free to ask any questions!

Ice Cream Anniversary!

Oooh wouldn't that be great?? If Anniversaries were named after yummy foods instead of paper and wood lol! Ice-Cream, Chocolate, Sugared Almonds, Marzipan....Sorry, getting carried away!

I have another entry into the Less Is More colour challenge this week...

I pierced round the edge of my card first, with my Paper Piercing Essentials pack, then drew along the line to create 'stitching'. I then added my Very Vanilla Seam Binding and a Designer Vintage Faceted Button, with some Whisper White Baker's Twine which I coloured with Pink Pirouette to match my hearts.

I have used the hearts from the lurverly Hearts A Flutter set, and I've stamped them in various pinks. I then stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments through the middle of the plain heart to look like an arrow. Perfectly placed using my Stamp-a-Majig of course! I raised this heart up for definition.

Supplies
Card Stock - Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Stamps - Hearts A Flutter, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Inks (markers) - Pink Pirouette, Pretty In Pink, Blushing Bride, More Mustard
Ribbon - Very Vanilla Seam Binding
Baker's Twine - Whisper White
Other - Designer Vintage Faceted Buttons, Paper Piercing Essentials Pack

I'd love to feed your letterbox with some yummy Stampin' Up! goodies, so if you would like to place an order, please do contact me!

Less Is More Colour Challenge

Good Morning!
I'm excited this morning because it's my first market since December...I hope it's a busy one!

But quickly, before I go, I want to share this card I have made for the Less Is More colour challenge this week...

I have used the stunning Secret Garden set (again!) and stamped it with More Mustard, Pretty In Pink and Pink Pirouette markers and used the matching Framelits to cut them out. The embossing was using the free Vine Street EF from the Sale-A-Bration promotion, and then I colour the inside of the folder using Sahara sand and ran the card through the Bigshot again.

The sentiment is Teeny Tiny Sentiments.
I am also entering this into the sketch challenge at CAS(e) This Sketch, which was on my screen when I opened my laptop this morning!

Ok I must dash! Have a lovely day! At least the sun is shining here... :)

A card inspired by another!

Good evening all :)
I have a card here that I've made for the Colour Q challenge. As soon as I saw this colour combo, and the stunning card made by Sylvia, it inspired me to CASe her card.
So here is my card...

A closer view

And here is Sylvia's card...
Blog-CQC-121a
Isn't it just stunning??

I used similar techniques to Sylvia too, including stamping and embossing my image before colouring with my Stampin' Up! markers. A little trick I discovered whilst colouring...if you don't have a watercolour blender pen, try spritzing a little water onto a tile or some acetate, and dip your coloured marker into the water before colouring. Then, as the water wears out, the colour gets deeper, so creating some shading.

Supplies used
Cardstock - Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Stamps - Elements Of Style
Markers - More Mustard, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red
Embossing Folders - Adorning Accents Folders, Perfect Polka Dots
Dies - Labels Collection Framelits, Adorning Accents Edglits
Other - Versamark Embossing Pad, Stampin' Emboss Powder; Clear
