New Stitched Framelits!!

Good afternoon to you!
How are you? Did any of my UK followers get snow on Wednesday? We didn't in Bolton, which is a shame because I love snow!

Oh well, moving on! Now that Halloween and Bonfire night are over I feel like I can really start my Christmas crafting, and to help I had a new delivery on Monday! You may have seen these being shown here and there....

If you haven't, let me explain. Stampin' Up! have released some brand new Framelits called Stitched Shapes and they are fantastic!! I couldn't wait to get in my craft room and have a play, so do you want to see?? Ok here you go....

Ok so as usual, I have to see just how coordinating these new Framelits are with the Layering Square Framelits and wow! They fit perfectly!

I decided to dig out one of my forgotten stamp sets for this card. It's easy to get excited by new stuff but we mustn't forget our good old favourites too! The Poinsettia from Reason For The Season is heat embossed with the brand new Copper Stampin' Emboss and then I stamped over the top with the matching 'filler' stamps. The only thing is that that I forgot the ink wouldn't dry on the copper, so when I started to cut the flower out it all smudged! I thought it was a goner, but I got a baby wipe and gently wiped the ink off and it spread over the whole flower leaving it looking like this...love it! I filled the centre with Gold Stampin' Glitter. Isn't it all so shiny and pretty??

I hope to have more play time with my new Framelits soon so of course I will share what I make!

If you would like to see more of the Framelits, check out this little video, or you can go direct to my shop to order them!

Thanks for popping by today and see you soon!

Sparkly star!

Good morning!
Did you survive the trick or treaters last night? Did you have enough goodies to give out? I was out last night and Keiran was at cubs so we kind of gave Halloween a miss this year!

I realise that I haven't shared any of my makes from the Autumn/Winter catalogue recently, so now that Halloween is over and we can look forward to Christmas (after bonfire night of course!), here is one of the Christmas cards I made this weekend...

I used the Softly Falling embossing folder for the white panels, then the Starlight Thinlits to die cut the star out of Silver Glimmer paper.

The sentiment is from the co-ordinating Star Of Light stamp set and is stamped in Night Of Navy to match the card blank. The stamps and dies are available as a bundle for 10% off so why not get them together and save!

I used a very simple sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch to put my card together...I hope you like it :)

Happy All Saints Day!

You can order any of the items I used today by either contacting me, or clicking on my shop link over there on the right >>> Thank you!

Pinkies Autumn/Winter Sneak Peek!

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop!
We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue.
Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

I am soooo excited about the upcoming Autumn/Winter catalogue! It isn't available to order from until 1st September, but as a Demo I am very lucky to be able to get a sneak peek of the products!

There are so many gorgeous stamps sets, bundles, kits, DSP, accessories and gift packaging that I found it very difficult to decide what to order this time! However, I did decide and plumped for one bundle, some DSP and some sequins and ribbon...here is a little sneak peek...

I used a brand new bundle comprising Star of Light Photopolymer stamps and Starlight Thinlits Dies. Aren't they gorgeous??

As well as using the stamps and Thinlits, I used some of our stunning Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper for the star on the card and added a Soft Sky Sequin from the Fancy Frost Sequins. The tealight uses Fancy Frost Speciality Paper, which is as thick as cardstock actually, and a Sweet Sugarplum Sequin and matching Glitter Ribbon.

I do love how all these items work so well together...I can see me making lots with this bundle!

So now it's over to Kim's blog to see what she has created!

Thanks for visiting and I hope these projects have got you excited for the release of the new catalogue on 1st September! And if you can't wait until then to see what else is in this new release, and even better, get your hands on the goodies before anyone else, why not join my team? You can then order your brand new products in your starter kit for only £99!!

I look forward to hearing from you soon and I'll be back with more very soon!

Christmas...really??

Hehe hi everyone!
Ok so I know Christmas is but a distant memory, but as we all know, it will 'creep up' on us again this year, ('cos 12 months isn't enough notice of course!), so I thought you might like to have a little bit of early inspiration, if you want to get all organised, like me. (NOT!)

Now I know that there is a yummy new Spring/Summer catalogue, with lots if scrummy new stamps and punches and Framelits and ribbons and....BUT, have you seen the gorgeous stamps and punch/Framelit bundles that are being carried over?? Well, before long you may not be able to get your hands on them! And that would be a shame right? So today's card is using one of those sets, and one of my favourites too if I'm honest!

This awesome set is Snow Place stamp set, and Snow Friends Framelits, available as a bundle at 15% off! There are a LOT of stamps and framelits with this set so very well worth the money! And the stamps are Photopolymer too! :)

I stamped the cute snow boy and snow lady, their cute accessories and arms and then cut them all with the matching Framelits. So easy! I stamped the base of the card with the snowflakes then tore a couple of pieces of card to create the snow drifts, which I popped up on Dimensionals so I could sit the snow people and the Festival of Trees 'into' the snow. The sentiment was stamped using my Stampin' Write Markers and I finished by cutting out Keiran's name with the Little Letters Thinlits and sponging them with ink.

Altogether a cute card, don't you think? Oh and it's a 7in x 7in card...I like to give big cards!

I hope you like this card...it was one of my favourites this year!

If you would like to see something made using some of the new Spring/Summer goodies, do pop back tomorrow evening :)

A little skater girl!

Hey everyone!
Did you have a nice Christmas? I had a lovely quiet one with Keiran and my parents, playing board games and eating lots!

Of course, I was asked to make a few Christmas cards again this year, so I'm going to share those and the ones I made for my family over the next couple of days. Here's the first one, using a colouring image I found on Pinterest.

I coloured the little girl with my very neglected Promarkers, but everything else I used is from Stampin' Up! The sentiment is from Holly Jolly Greetings and the name is from Little Letters Framelits.

For texture I embossed the background with the Softly Falling EF...I love it!

Thanks for popping by and I'll be back with another card soon :)

Stampin' Up Reason For The Season Tutorial - making it easy!!

Good evening!
I hope this post finds you all well?
I have been busy crafting for my upcoming stall at the Worsley URFC Christmas fair recently, and I wanted to show you one of my new makes tonight.

PLUS, how to line up the Reason For The Season stamps and punch bundle for quick and easy Poinsettias!

First of all, here is the finished project....Oh yes, this involves some clever upcycling too...

This gorgeous tealight/candle holder is made from an empty tuna tin and 22 wooden clothes pegs! I simply glued strips of Gold Glimmer Paper to each peg and clipped them to the can, then wrapped it all with some Natural Cotton Ribbon and Linen Thread. I then added the Gold Cording Trim and the stunning Poinsettia, complete with an Iced Rhinestone, coloured with a gold Sharpie.

Here's how it looks when lit...

Isn't it beautifully sparkly?!

So, I promised to show how to line up the stamps and die to make this all so much easier right? Ok, just check out my little video below...

I think you'll agree that it really is a doddle right? I sometimes think that Stampin' Up! design products deliberately for us Demos to work out easier ways of using them! ;)

So would you like to have a go at making one of these? Well here is a list to all the Stampin' Up! products I used. Please just click on them to order direct from my online shop, or click on the link to the right >>>>>

And don't forget, if you use this month's hostess code you will receive a free gift from me in December!

Reason for the Season

Hello everyone!
I had my craft class last Friday and as Christmas is coming (?!!) we had a little play with one of my new stamp set and punch bundles from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue, Reason For The Season...

This first card we made was using the punch Festive Flower (part of the bundle) and then we stamped the veins on the leaves and petals afterwards, using the stamps from Reason For The Season. It's much easier this way as trying to line all three stamps up before punching is almost impossible! The stamps are photopolymer too so that makes it super easy!
*EDIT* For an even easier way to stamp onto these petals, check out my tutorial here.

I used one of the dies and some Gold Glimmer Paper from the Holly Jolly Greetings bundle for 'merry', and teamed it with one of the stamps from the set. Oh and under the gorgeous Poinsettia I swirled a little of the gorgeous Gold Cording Trim...doesn't it finish the card nicely?

If you would like to order from either the Autumn/Winter catalogue, or the Annual Catalogue, you can either contact me direct, or click on the links over on the right :)

Have a lovely day and hope to catch you soon!

Peace and Love

Hi everyone!
It's Thursday so here is my DT card for CAS-Colours and Sketches this week. I created this sketch with the intention of creating a lovely sunny scene with flowers, but somehow I ended up playing with one of my new stamp sets from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue!

I have flipped the sketch so that the stars looked like falling stars...not too sure if it works but I'm struggling to craft right now as life has gone a bit wrong again, but let's not talk about that!

I stamped everything from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set in Silver Encore ink except for the '&love' which was stamped in Soft Sky. I then mounted the stamped panel onto Soft Sky card before popping up on Dimensionals onto a Whisper White card blank made using the new thicker WW!! You should seriously try it...it's so much better for card bases!

I look forward to popping over to your blogs to see your creations!

Very Bright and Beautiful Stars!

Hi all! Wow it's a cold one out there today isn't it? I hope you don't have any disruption due to the weather.

Now I know that there are some stunning new products now available in the Spring/Summer catalogue, but did you know that quite a few of the items from the Autumn/Winter catalogue have carried over too?? I have used one of these sets today...

This is the gorgeous Bright and Beautiful stamp set and I stamped it and heat embossed it in Wild Wasabi powder onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock. This is one of those unusual coloured cards I was asked to make!

The sentiment was coloured using my Stampin' Write Markers before stamping onto my card.

There are quite a few Autumn/Winter stamp sets and punches/Framelits still available, so if you thought you had missed out, the good news is you didn't!

I have more decorating to do today...glossing...oh joy!
Have a lovely day!

Free Blendabilities anyone??

Hi everyone!
We have had a little break over the Christmas period, but CAS-Colours and Sketches is back for the new year, and we're starting with this fab sketch!

Now I got ahead of myself and made my card before Christmas, so I'm afraid it's another Christmas card! I do love this stamp, Bearing Gifts, but this was the only time I used it!

I stamped it in Memento Black and coloured it with Blendabilities and Stampin' Write markers. I really enjoyed colouring this in...it had been a while since I coloured anything but it was very relaxing.

That little banner of DSP is from All Is Calm...I totally loved this paper!

Here's a tip for you...why don't you get your Blendabilities for free? Yup you heard! You can choose any one of the sets for free as part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion! What a great way to start/add to your collection! For more details, click on the brochure over there on the right >>>

I think today's sketch is a nice one to get us under
way in the new year, don't you? We're looking forward to seeing your creations! :)

Unusual coloured snowflake, and exciting news!

Good evening all!
So if you popped by last night or earlier today, you will have seen me mention the new Spring/Summer catalogue, which launches tomorrow! You will also remember that I said I would have more news today? Well I have!

But you'll have to wait until after I show another of my Christmas cards. I was asked to make some 'different' coloured cards, and this is just one of them...

I decided that I would try Hello Honey and Rich Razzelberry...can't get much more different right?! I die cut a snowflake from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies into my top layer, and stamped my sentiment from Endless Wishes, also in Rich Razzelberry and Hello Honey.

I coloured some Silver Glimmer Paper using a Rich Razzelberry Stampin' Write Marker and popped it behind the snowflake...it's very sparkly in real life! I finished with a Basic Rhinestone.

You have until 10.55pm tonight to order from the Autumn Winter catalogue, so do get in quick if there is anything you have your eye on!

Ok so you want to hear the other awesome news right??

Bright and Beautiful stars

Good evening everyone!
A late post from me, but I have another Christmas card to show you...yes I know, Christmas is gone, in fact I took my decorations down tonight, but I really do love this stamp set and I wanted to share...I hope you don't mind?

I used the stunning Bright and Beautiful stamps, stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in Gold and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Emboss Powders.

I used Gold Sequin Trim and Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding to 'hang' the decoration on the card.

These stamps are still available on my online shop until Tuesday...so grab them now while you can!

Yesterday I mentioned that there would be some exciting things happening with Stampin' Up! soon....well one of them is the brand new Spring/Summer catalogue which will be available to order from on.......

TUESDAY 6th JANUARY!!

How exciting is that?! So it really is the last chance to get your Autumn/Winter items.

I'll be back tomorrow with more news ;)

It's not too late to Get Your Santa On!

Hello everyone, and a VERY happy, healthy and crafty 2015 to you!

I have been missing for a while as life has been so ridiculously busy! I have managed to fit a little crafting in, but to be honest, I have been concentrating on enjoying Christmas and new year with my nearest and dearest, as I'm sure you all have too!

But, things are settling down a bit now, so hopefully, I will have more time to get back to blogging!

Today I am going to show you the card I made for Keiran for Christmas...all kids should have Santa on their cards right??

Well of course, Keiran loves Santa, and he still very much believes in him, so he loved this card! I used the Get Your Santa On stamp set and stamped him twice, once onto my card panel and once onto another piece of Whisper White card. I coloured the second with my Blendies and fussy cut him out.

I also created my own backgrounds by using some of the smaller stamps from the set and stamping them repeatedly over the panels.

Before I popped him over the first image using Dimensionals, I carefully placed the letters from Little Letters Thinlits under Santa and ran it through the Bigshot. I really like the effect of using the negative lettering, don't you?

Now I know that Christmas is over, but if you don't have this set, it's not too late to pick it up...it is still available in my online shop, along with all the other fabulous Autumn/Winter products, until 5th January...don't miss out!

Over the next few days there will be lots of exciting things happening with Stampin' Up! I can't wait!! Stay tuned for more info!

My card for my man :)

Hello everyone!
1 more sleep!!! Are you excited? I actually am this year...I have a feeling Christmas might be pretty good, and a lot of that is thanks to my wonderful man, Mike.

So I thought I would share the card I made for him with you...

I decided to use a heart shape as a bauble, and I really love the new Sweetheart shapes we have....they remind me of the hearts I used to draw as a child!

So I punched the heart from Silver Glimmer paper, and popped it up on Dimensionals into the middle of a stamped heart from the Groovy Love stamp set. I added some Baker's Twine to make it look like the bauble was hanging, and added a small heart from the Itty Bitty Accents punch set, and finished with a Silver Mini Brad.

I really like how clean the card looks, though for a while I was worried it look a bit Valentine-y! So I added the sentiment from an old set, and personalised it using the Little Letters Thinlits.

The colours I've used fit into the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary this week, so I shall be linking it up to their challenge.

CCMC334

So I hope you don't have too much to do today, and can get chance to relax with your family. I'm off for a walk into town to enjoy a coffee with Keiran, and watch all the last minute shoppers rushing around! Have a lovely day!
