Everything Eleanor box frame

Hi everyone!
Well after the last little box frame I made using retired DSP, I decided I should give it a go with current DSP, so here is a pretty one I made using a 12in x 12in sheet from the Neutrals DSP paper stack.

I really love the delicate pattern on this paper don't you? I added a piece of white card to the background to hide the stripes that are on the other side of this double sided paper, and onto that I stamped the swirl from Everything Eleanor. This was one of may favourite sets so I'm really sad to see that it's retiring. If you want this set, you'll have to be quick!

The flower is stamped in one of the gorgeous new 2016/2018 In Colours, Sweet Sugarplum. I love this new colour!

A little tip that I realised in my eagerness to make this....stamp onto your back piece before you fit it into the frame or you may struggle to fit your block into the aperture! I almost fell fowl but got round it luckily!

I'm going to be taking delivery of some customer orders tomorrow, so if you placed an order, I'll be in touch as soon as I do! Oh and there might be a little something in there for me too! ;) I'll share when I get chance!

Have a lovely evening!

Awesomely Artistic Box Frame

Good morning!
So today I want to show you a little shadow box frame I made last week. I used a single 12in x12in piece of Perfectly Artistic DSP for this, and when I had made the frame I decided it looked 'beachy' so that was kind of where I took it...

I used the kind of heart shaped splodgy stamp from Awesomely Artistic, stamped in one of the brand new In Colors for this year, and shaped a length of Linen Thread into a kind of heart then added one of the little Clothespins to hold it in shape.

I finished this with three tiny little hearts in the bottom right corner, but I have a problem...I can't remember which stamp set it came from! Can you figure it out?? I have searched my sets and just can't find it so your help would be seriously appreciated!

I plan to complete the frame with a shell or too from my next visit to the beach...what do you think?

I know I made this using some retired DSP from Sale-a-Bration, but I just wanted to have a play and see how the box frame would turn out...I'm very pleased with it and plan to make some more using current DSP :)

Have a lovely day and if you would like to order any Stampin' Up! goodies please do click on my shop over there on the right >>>>>

Bye for now!

I {heart} my parents!

Good morning everyone!
Today I'm showing you a little present I made for my Mum and Dad for their Wedding Anniversary last week.

This is quite a large cardboard heart that I wrapped with Burlap Ribbon and secured using hot glue.

I then added the sentiment from Feel Goods which I heat embossed with my own mix of Stampin' Emboss Powders. I used Early Espresso and Gold to create a slightly graduated look to it....very effective don't you think?

I added various flowers from Petal Potpourri and Petite Petals, some die cut leaves from Flower Frenzy Bigz Die, and some butterflies from Butterfly Basics. I finished with Basics Pearls and some gold pearls from my stash.

They loved this gift, which I made in colours to match their decor...I hope to see it hung in pride of place next time I visit!

Have a lovely day and I hope the wind has calmed down near you!

Creative Blog Hop - a Pink Wreath

Good morning! I hope you are all well? I feel like I've been away for ages, but I haven't...I have actually been crafting, I just haven't got round to blogging, so I am sorry about that!

I have been nominated to take part in the Creative Blog Hop by the lovely Em, so here is my make...

I used some retired Pink Pirouette ribbon to wrap a polystyrene circle and glued it in place with hot glue. I made roses with the Spiral Flower Originals Die, making the small one by cutting the bottom off once I had rolled it, and hot glueing it to a punched circle of card.

The sentiment is from Feel Goods and was heat embossed with Pool Party Stampin' Emboss. The leaves are from Flower Frenzy Bigz Die as are the bases of the larger flowers. I finished with a few punched Bitty Butterflies and some pearls.

I really enjoyed making this project, so much so that I made another hanger for my parents for their anniversary, which I will show you tomorrow.

So to keep the blog hop going, I have nominated the lovely Susie and Neets who will post their projects next Monday, 30th March.

Have a lovely Monday!

Pinkies Spring/Summer blog hop!

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

There are so many wonderful new products available in the brand new catalogue that I found it really difficult to choose what to use for this blog hop! As you will know if you visit me here often, I like to create home decor items, and I am also in the process of 'refreshing' my home, (in fact, I have gloss all over my hands as I type this!), so I decided to craft myself something to brighten up my newly painted hallway...

I decided to use the gorgeous Butterfly Basics Bundle to fill some frames I bought ages ago! I simply die cut the 2 filigree butterflies and glued them to the front of the glass in the 2 smaller frames. (I took the back mounts out to leave them see through).

On the larger one I stamp the flowers and sentiment directly onto the glass in Versamark, then heat embossed with Smoky Slate Embossing Powder. I then added a little colour to the flowers with my Blendabilities....not very clear here I'm afraid. I finished with some of the tiny butterflies stamped in Rose Red (stamped off first).

Here is a picture of them on my wall...

As you can see, the frames are actually white and work really well with the stamp set! I really love how these came out...I can see me making more similar things as my home gets updated!

What are your favourite things from the new catalogue? Why not make something and share so I can come and see what you made?

I hope you enjoyed my project and now it's time for you to visit Sarah's blog to see her wonderful creation!

Enjoy the rest of the blog hop and I hope to see you again soon!

Pinkie Blog Hop for the New Annual Catalogue 2014/15

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping.

Did you enjoy seeing Eveline's project? Isn't it lovely?

I have decided to use some gorgeous new ribbon and flowers to make something a little different for you!
I cut the heart shapes using the Hearts Collection Framelits and embossed the middle one with Beautiful Baroque Embossing Folder. I then sponged it using Mossy Meadow ink. The outer is wrapped with the stunning new Stitched Satin Ribbon in Hello Honey.

I have used the gorgeous new Flower Frenzy Bigz die and the Beautiful Bunch stamp and Fun Flower Punch combo.
The main flower was stamped in Hello Honey, onto Hello Honey cardstock, the leaves are Mossy Meadow and the purple elements are Blackberry Bliss. All these are some of our brand new In Colours. Aren't they gorgeous?

I really enjoyed making this project...it's a while since I did a home decor item...may have to have a play in lots of other colours! :)

I hope you're enjoying the blog hop, and to continue, please click on the badge below, to take you to Sandie's blog, where you will see her beautiful project!

Enjoy your weekend!

A little home decor

Hey everyone!
I have seen lots of pretty handmade home decor items around the net lately, so I decided to make something myself. I recently got the Spiral Flower Die so I thought I would make some rolled roses and see what happened....here is the result...

I must admit, I have used non SU! card for the roses as I was 'playing', but after this first attempt I think I will have a go with some of the gorgeous card we have!

I made a heart frame by die cutting the two largest dies from the Hearts Collection Framelits, then I glued the flowers onto it along with some leaves which I punched from Core'dinations cardstock using the Bird Punch. I then attached a loop of Crochet Trim to hang it with.

I really enjoyed making this...it was something different and I think I mat make some for my stall for later this year! One brilliant thing with the Spiral Flower die is that you can cut lots of flowers at once, cutting down the time to make this...I managed to cut 8 at once!
