Pampered Pets!

Good afternoon all! 

I have had such a busy day today! I had a bunch of errands to run this morning, then I popped in to see how Jen's kitchen is getting on...you don't want to know lol! And then, after chatting to Jen, I decided to have a craft room sort out and clear out! I have got rid of a lot of bits that I've been hanging onto for some time, with no real intention of ever using them lol! So blog candy, blog hops and charity shops beware!

Anyway, here is a card I made the other night and forgot to post!

It is all made using freebie Pampered Pets goodies from a magazine ages ago! I jazzes it up with some Spellbinders dies and 2 handmade flowers, made from 'blind' fabric!

Right I better get to the train station to pick up the first of my guests for this weekend! I have 5 people staying with me from Rochdale, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Madrid and Holland! Butterfly Wedding

Good Morning!

Ok I know, another butterfly lol!

This is a commissioned wedding card and the brief was blue and butterflies. So this is using a Craft Robo file I bought from Crafts U Print (the link is at the top of my page) and a Spellbinders die along the bottom.

I also used a fancy corner punch and finished with gems. 

Tip - I couldn't find exactly the right colour shimmery card so I printed blue onto white shimmery card by insert a shape into a Word document and colour filling it!

Pick a Square #4

Ok here is yet another entry into LIM - pick a square challenge. 

Quite simply, I layered 2 Prima flowers, topped with a flower from Holland and mounted into the bottom corner with a swirl from a Nesties set. I finished with a sentiment from my trusty Papermania set. My aim is to try and make a card using each of the featured squares......3 down, 2 to go! ;)

Second Butterfly

Good evening LIMettes!
I am feeling much more refreshed today, thanks for your wishes :)  I think it will be a couple of weeks before I am 100%, but I'm getting there! :)

Anyway, over the last week I was reminded that I had £5 worth of free downloads on Crafts U Print from when they had their upgrade. So I went for a wander over there and found some wonderful Craft Robo files, one of which has provided the focal point for this card......

These really are fantastic files and anyone who has a Craft Robo, or any other electrical die cutting machine should go take a look at them! Anyway, this is a 2 layer butterfly, the bottom is solid and cut from purple pearlescent card, and the top 'lace effect' layer is cut from lilac pearlescent paper. I then curled each layer to give definition and attached them together to the card. I only stuck them in the middle so when the card is moved, the top wings 'flutter'......it's very effective!
The border is a Spellbinders (I think) and the sentiment was computer generated and then I glittered the first letters with Butterfly Trails. Finished with a few gems to link everything together and I'm quite pleased with the result! :D
