Tri-Fold 30th Birthday

Good evening!
Well I broke my pledge to be here more didn't I? :( I am sorry. I have been busy, and somewhat under the weather again...I just don't seem to have completely got over the cold I saw the New Year in with! It keeps mutating into another type of cold! Oh well, for now I feel up to crafting, so here is a quick card I made today.

It's using up some more of my random stash!

I have used another set of the numbers from Ribbonbox and simply attached all the elements to this tri-fold card blank...that simple! The card blank is one Jen gave me months ago!

Challenges

Thanks for stopping by. No more pledges...just hope to be back soon! :)

A 70th Birthday, using up some stash!

Hello!
I've had a lovely couple of days crafting away as I was lucky enough to get 3 days off this week! Here is another card for you that I've made for a customer at work's 70th birthday, and it has really inspired me to use up some stash I found whilst having a clearout!

This was a sheet of numbers that I bought at my first ever GNPE about 3 years ago and never used! It happens alot, me buying stuff and not using it! Anyway, I had it in the charity giveaway bag, then remembered I needed the 70th card so I fished it our again thinking that I would only make the one card. Well I was so pleased with the result that, up to now, I've also made an 80th and I'm halfway through a 21st, plus I have 30 and 40 in the pipeline, all different colours! I shall post them as I make them.
The nestie shape is Stampin' Up! Labels Collection, and the ribbon is some from some packaging I think. I finished with Liquid Pearls.

Challenges

I'm now off to post a Stampin' Up! card on my other blog...why not pop over for a peek?
See you over there!

Easel-y 50!

Well yet again, the world has woken to another natural disaster. I send my prayers and thoughts to everyone in Japan and all the other countries that are likely to be affected by this. I hope the nuclear disaster is averted too.

This seems somewhat frivolous now, considering the troubles in the Pacific, but here is my card for today...hope to get a couple more on later but in case I don't, get chance, here's one!
I made this for an order, but inspired by the challenge at Charisma Cardz this week...easel cards! They are one of my favourite styles of card to do at the moment because they are different and you can do so much with them!
The papers I've used are Pink Petticoat, the main image and butterflies are from Ribbon Box and the ribbon is from my stash. I finished my card with a few gems and a printed sentiment. Hope to see you all later on, if I'm not too tired from work!
