Bon Voyage! Sketch Saturday #230 with The Stamp Fairy

Good morning Sketch Saturday fans!
Are you ready for another crafty morning? Well this week we are being sponsored by the fabulous Stamp Fairy!

We have another one of Jen's fab sketches here...
And I made this...

I made this for a lady who is going travelling around the UK and Europe in a campervan for the next 2 years...how awesome!!
Anyway, the image is from Little Claire's, coloured with Promarkers and finished with a little Glossy Accents to make windows. The map background was from good old Google images, and the ribbon was in my stash.

Challenges
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Charisma Cardz - Clean & Simple

Enjoy the sketch and enjoy the crafting! :)

Less Is More #2

Good afternoon!
I'm sat watching Ice Age with Keiran, waiting for the diving to come on the Olympics.

In the meantime, here is another card I made on Saturday at Jen's, using one of her Stampin' Up! sets.

I also used her Die-Namics zigzag border die and my SU! markers. I also added some glossy accents for dimension, but they don't really show on here.
It is another entry into the Less Is More Sketch challenge this week, and the Card Crafter's Circle - CAS challenge.
Hope everyone is enjoying the Olympics! :)

Colourful Ava!

Good evening all!
I don't want to jump the gun, or presume too much just yet, but I think my Mojo has finally returned!!
Here is a card I made tonight using my new technique, which this time I intend to stick to lol! I chose my image, then chose my papers, then coloured my image to match...the card came together far easier than usual!

Isn't she beautiful?! She is Ava from Saturated Canary and I've coloured her with Promarkers, and Faber Castell pencils for shading and depth. The papers are the Beach Babe stack, free with this month's Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine, the flowers are Prima,
the Baker's Twine from the Ribbon Girl, and ribbon is from my stash. I finished with a little Glossy Accents on the balloon and her eyes.

Thanks for stopping by, and please keep visiting to make sure my Mojo is still around!

April Showers at Crafting For All Seasons

Good afternoon!
I have scheduled this post as when it goes live I shall be helping out at a kid's craft day at our local church...I bet it'll be fun! :)

So it's time for another challenge at Crafting For All Seasons and this time the theme is

APRIL SHOWERS!

And we've already had some of those today! Not to mention the wind!!

We are sponsored by
Prize - 7 digis

The Stamping Boutique

and our very own Jani!
Jani's Kreativwelt - Digitale Stempel
Jani has just started designing and selling digi images so do pop on over and take a look!

Anyway, here's my card...

I have used Deacon Rain from Bugaboo, and coloured him with Promarkers. The papers are Pixel Scrapper and My Mind's Eye, and it's finished with a couple of dewdrops and some glossy accents on the raindrops and puddle. I distressed the edges of the papers as I didn't want to matt and layer...I wanted a clean-ish look!

I shall pop back later to enter it into some challenges...
Bye for now! :)

Christmas Challenges with Sketches - Guest DT 1st card!

Well hello blogland!!
I know it's been 4, almost 5 days since I've blogged! Never been know to have such a big break before I don't think!! I have been spending some time in Huddersfield seeing my brother, sis-in-law and nephew, who are visiting from London! It has been a hectic but very fun few days! It was so great to see them all again!

So here I am, with a card I should have posted yesterday, but never got round to, due to being away for a day longer than planned!

I was accepted as Guest DT over at Christmas Challenges With Sketches and this is my first card for them!
We are sponsored by
Inky Impressions
my card...
Lili of The Valley - Shine a Light, coloured (ages ago!) with Promarkers. I then just embossed shimmery paper and added the ribbon, glitter, Glossy Accents and Flowersoft. Oh and the doily which I chalked in pink, sprayed with Spraymount then dusted with glitter! A simple but pretty, girly card! :)
So come on over and show us your Christmas creations!

Hugs 'n Fishes

Good afternoon!
I am on the train on the way back from the best weekend ever in Edinburgh! What a lot of memories!
So I am now posting another card I made before I went away.
I have made this one using the same image as I used earlier in the week. I had coloured it in for practice and it's been sat on my desk since, so I thought I'd use it up!

Again this is using the Digidoodle image, 'Fish Kiss' and is coloured with Promarkers. I used glossy accents to make the 'glass' again and the papers are the free Kate Knight Floral Fantasy. The ribbon is from my stash and is the first time I've ever used it!

Love is in the air (or fish bowl!)

Good afternoon all!
It is time for our new challenge over at Crafting For All Seasons and this time it's
LOVE IS IN THE AIR!

We are lucky to have 3, yes 3! sponsors for this challenge!
Bugaboo
Prize - 7 Digis!

Digidoodle
Prize - $10 gift card!

Lili of The Valley
Shop
Prize - £10 voucher!

How awesome are all those prizes??!! So we REALLY want to see all your fab 'Loving' creations!

Here's mine...

I've used an image from Digidoodle and coloured it with Promarkers. I fancied trying something different so went for bright, tropical colours and blended them together...I really like how it came out! I saw it on Create & Craft a few weeks ago and thought it looked effective, and decided to bite the bullet! I then flooded the main 'glass' bit of the bowl with Glossy Accents to give it the 'glass' look. The papers are my new freebies from Wild Rose Studios and the sentiment is a Polkadoodles magazine freebie. Love my freebies!

Cuppy Cakes!

Good evening everyone!
Ok I felt like doing a little colouring this afternoon, in between doing my Biggest Loser workout and picking Keiran up from nursery. Oh and it was a great workout today btw....it's a really great game for X-Box Kinect if you're looking to get fit. I have only been doing it for a week and I haven't stopped aching yet! (in a good way!)

Anyway, as I was saying...colouring. So I've been visiting Dunelm Mill and checking out this season's very bright kitchen colours and so they inspired the colours for this card...

The stamp is a Lili of The Valley one, 'Mix It & Make It'...how cute?? Anyway, I coloured it with Promarkers and then I cut off the bottom of the image and mounted it onto some blue Gingham paper from my stash to make it look like a table cloth. I saw it on Lesley's blog and thought it looked fab, so I thought I'd give it a go too! I rather quite like it! I then made a background paper with a mini cupcake stamp and added the Birthday Recipe and the bunting, made using a Molly Blooms stamp free from Simply Homemade a while ago. I finished with some plain glitter on the flour and some glossy accents on the egg.

Challenges
Oops I seemed to have waffled rather a lot tonight, sorry! Hope you like the card anyway! :)

Footie Bear

Evening again!
Here is another card for this evening, using (one of!) my favourite Lili of The Valley stamps

Coloured with Promarkers (obviously lol!) and the papers are just scraps. The card blank is some A4 blue card from the stash too, folded into A5. The right hand border is Card Candi (great way to use it up...I have so much!) and the football is hand drawn and finished with Glossy Accents, the attached with Bakers Twine. The sentiment is 'A Little Pot' from the PC.

Challenges

Thanks for looking! :)
Oh and the splodge is on my lens, not the card lol!

CFAS Challenge #16 - Part 1

Good afternoon!
Well I feel like I haven't stopped at all for the last 2 or 3 weeks! But now that Christmas is almost upon us, things will slowly start to calm down, thankfully!
Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at Crafting For All Seasons and this time it's
CHRISTMAS CARDS
How easy is that?!!
So as we are very generously sponsored by
 Meljen's Designs
and The Stamping Boutique

here is the first of my 2 DT cards, this one from Meljen's Designs

I coloured my image with Promarkers, and added lots of Glossy accents to the bell and berries. The papers and ribbon are random pieces from my stash and the sentiment is a Lili of The Valley one, stamped in Encore gold ink. I also added a little glitter to the edge of the image mount and the berries.

Please check my next post for my other card :)

My first Kenny K card!

Good evening all!
I have made this card today for a friend's daughter, and I have thoroughly enjoyed making it! I was only asked for it last night so it was a bit of a rush order, but still...I'm very happy with it! It is my first card using a Kenny K image. I have always loved the images but just never got round to buying or using any. Now, I can tell you, that that is definitely going to change!

I apologise for the photo.......I still haven't got a new one and so still can't see the pictures on the lcd screen properly and I hadn't realised there was a smudge on the lens.......hence the blur in the middle of the photos. I can't re-take the photos as the card has been delivered to it's sender!
I coloured it with Promarkers and highlighted with glitter and glossy accents. The music sheet is a Google image printed onto vellum and the music notes are also Google images, flooded with glossy accents. As you can see, 'Boogie Down' is mounted onto a cd. The sentiment is Black Chancery.
I hope you like this card as much as I do! :)

Thanks for looking everyone! :)

100th Birthday!

Good evening!
I would like to share this card I made this morning but didn't have time to blog it until now. I was asked to make this for my friend's adoptive Nan's 100th Birthday.

The papers are from Sweet Owl paper stack, the numbers are just printed from my pc and cut out by hand, then covered with Glossy Accents and sprinkled with glitter. The frame is Marianne and the butterfly is Joy. It is a very simple but very stylish card, I think and I hope the recipient loves it! :)

Thanks for looking everyone! :)

BINGO! Crafting for all Seasons challenge #8

Good afternoon all!
Well what a lot of great entries into our last challenge, Tags! It has been really tough choosing our top 3!
Anyway, onto this week's challenge.......BINGO!
The idea is to choose a line to incorporate into your card. I have made 2 cards for this challenge, the first is from our sponsor, The Stamping Boutique.

The image is 'Noah's Ark' and as soon as I saw it I knew how I was going to colour it! I used Promarkers for this.I made a circular card, added 2 embossed circles for the background and a lilac gingham ribbon. I also made the sea out of tissue paper. I finished with the button flowers and some glossy and sparkly bits on the rainbow and windows.

The second card I've made is using one of the gorgeous FREE digis from Sliekjestamps

This little man has been coloured using Promarkers, and is mounted onto snowflake embossed card. I added some cotton wool for snow, Martha Stewart snowflakes, buttons and some ribbon. I really urge you to go over to Sliekjestamps and have a look at her blog and remember, all the digis are FREE!! :)
I am entering these cards into the following challenges........
Hope you like these cards and hopefully I'll get chance to do some more crafting this week! :)

Merry Christmas everyone!
Hehe nothing like making a Christmas card to put you in the festive mood, even in July! And 2 posts in one day!

This lovely image is one of the new Christmas images from Pollycraft and is coloured with Promarkers (what else?!) I've embellished with Flowersoft, star gems, glitter, ribbon and Glossy Accents. Oh and a couple of handmade pressies, some old backing papers and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards. I have designed this to look like a living room......hope that comes across!
