It's Friday!!

Well we've all made it through to Friday! Yay!
Today I have one more card using the Beautiful You stamp set. I was clearing up my desk yesterday and found this image laying there, already coloured, so this is how I used it...

I've kept my card simple but added a little texture with the Softly Falling EF, (looks a bit like rain, I thought!), and I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out my image.

I may see you over the weekend, but in case I don't I hope you have a good one and I hope to see you next week!

(PS. don't forget to choose your free Sale-A-Bration items, then go place your £45+ orders to redeem them!)

A late one!

Hello again! Ok, this is a quick 'bonus' post for today!
I just noticed that I'm actually not too late to join in with the challenge at Less Is More this week, for their Balloons challenge! So here is my entry...

I have made a very simple card using the Balloon Celebration stamp set and matching punch.

I used gold Encore to add a touch of occasion to the balloons.

Think I better head to bed now!
Night all!

One Wild Ride!!

Hello!
Today I'm sharing a card I made ages ago, using One Wild Ride. I'm not the best at making male cards, but I'm very happy with this one!

I decided to make a z-fold card with a 'twist'...

...it opens the opposite way to usual! The reason for this?

So the bike looks like it's travelling! I had a lot of fun making this. Lots of neutral colours but quite an effective card I think. What do you think?

This is a great set for all sorts of occasions, and I reckon it would be great for those bike chicks too!

If you would like to order this set, please just click through to my shop using the link on the right >>>>

Also, don't forget that it's Sale-A-Bration through til the end of March, so for every £45 you spend you get to choose a FREE product from the SAB brochure!!

Please feel free to contact me for more information.

Have a lovely day!

Simply Simple Stars

Hello everyone! Are you ready for a new challenge? Today over at CAS - Colours and Sketches we have a lovely fresh colour combo for you!

I felt these colours deserved a true clean style, so here it is...

This is one of the simplest cards I've made for a while! Quite simply, I stamped 3 stars using the three challenge colours and cut them out. Then I used my Stamp-a-Majig to perfect place my sentiment and mounted the panel onto Calypso Coral, then a Pool Party card blank.

I'm entering my card into the Clean & Simple challenge this week.

More love in a card!

Good morning!
Ohhh don't you just love lazy Sunday mornings? I don't have them very often, but this morning I don't have to get up until 9am so I shall still be in bed when this post is scheduled to publish!

So yesterday we had the Pinkies Sale-a-Bration blog hop, (if you missed it, you can see my contribution here and follow the hop from there), and today I thought I would follow on from that by using a couple of other items I also got free from the SAB brochure.

This gorgeous Hessian heart and cute, tiny little peg are left over from the banner I made using the free kit I got from SAB. I added a heart which I die cut from the brushed gold card and some of the brand new Gold Bakers Twine.

The sentiment is stamped with Gold Encore onto my Real Red strip of Core'Dinations card stock, which I embossed using one of the Needlepoint Border EFs. The little 'cross stitches' remind me of kisses so I thought they'd be perfect for this card! I sanded over them to show the white core and also round the edges of the strip. All of this was mounted onto a Naturals White card blank.

As this card has quite a lot of texture, I am entering it into the challenge at The Card Concept, and my card style is Clean and Layered (I think!)
I have used the sketch at Less Is More this week to help design my card...

And I am also entering it into the following challenges...

You did it!

Hello!
It's new sketch time at Sketch Saturday, so here it is!

And my card, using all Stampin' Up! products...

I used a Midnight Muse card blank, embossed with Stylish Stripes.

The stars are from Simply Stars and the trophy image is from Tag It. I used the soon to be available Gold Washi Tape on a piece of card for the banner. I used Gold Encore and Midnight Muse inks.

What do you think you will make?

So here is a little card I've made quickly before I go to work and visit my friend Jackie in Rochdale later......

Pink and White Congratulations

Morning all!
Well it's lovely to have my little man back home....though the break was nice! Anyway here is a card I put together before he got home yesterday.

After discovering my 'kitty card' didn't qualify for the LIM - Monochrome challenge, I thought I should have another go! The image and sentiment are from an Inkadinkado wedding set thatone of the LIMettes (Helen I think) used last week and I fell in love with it so I just had to buy it! I stamped both in Peony Versacolour and triple embossed the image with clear embossing powder. I mounted the embossed image onto some pink p[aper from my stash and onto the card blank. I finished with a tiny 'nail pearl'.

I hope this redeems me! LOL

Lola Rose (Pink Petticoat)

This is the fab Lola Rose digistamp from Pink Petticoat and I originally bought it for a friend's baby shower. The background card is embossed with a Sizzix emossing folder from Baby Set 2. Finished with a shop bought greeting and a couple of little gems.
