A bright baby card

Hello!
I had an order for a new baby card before Christmas, but the baby was only born last week! So here is the card I made...a bit different colour wise for a change...

I used a super cute stamp from Lili Of The Valley and after stamping onto watercolour paper with Stazon, I used my Stampin' Write markers and Aqua Painters to colour it in.

The sentiment was computer generated and die cut using one of the Labels Framelits.

Are you working today? I have the day off, and I shall be mostly crafting!
I hope yours is a good one!

James the Christmas bear

Good morning Sketchers!
Happy new year! I hope it hasn't been spoiled with the awful storms and that you and all your loved ones are safe and well.

Ok so it is time for a new sketch at Sketch Saturday, and we have also had a bit of a makeover too, courtesy of Jen...pop on over to our new look blog to see for yourself!

So here is this week's sketch...

And here is my take on it...

I know that I should be done for Christmas by now, but we all know that as card makers we never really stop making them right? Anyway, this is the lovely James Bear from LoTV and I have coloured him using Stampin' Write Markers from Stampin' Up!, and blended them using the Watercolour Pens, also from SU!

The Seam Binding is Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' Up! and the rest of the items are just bits from my stash.

What will you create? I look forward to seeing them!

Sketch Saturday #277

Good morning all!
It's time for another sketch at Sketch Saturday, so here is my card...

I have used a LoTV image that I found, already coloured, among my stash as I was having a clear out. I thought these papers from the Sweater Weather Stampin Up Papers were a perfect match!

Here is our sketch for this week...

Look forward to seeing your fabby creations!

Sketch Saturday #273

Good morning!
Yup it's Saturday so it must be time for a new challenge at Sketch Saturday! Here is my offering today...

The sweet image is one of my favourite LoTV stamps, coloured with Promarkers.

The paper is from my stash, the flower border is a Martha Stewart punch and the scalloped circle is a Spellbinders I think.

Here is this week's sketch...

We're looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Have fun Sketchers!

Sketch Saturday #265

Hello Sketchers!!
How was your week? I have had a mad busy one with one thing and another! In fact, it is really late as I type this so I will be brief!

We have a new sketch and I had intended to use a sponsor digi image for this card, but sadly my printer has died, and I am waiting for a new one, so I have had to use a rubber stamp.

I have coloured my lovely LOTV image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, and used dome random papers and bits of ribbon from my stash.

So here is our sketch for inspiration this week...

Let's see what you can do with it! :)
Right, I'm off! Busy day today!
Bye for now!

Anyway, here is my card for our new challenge at Sketch Saturday...

I have used one of the new LoTV images and coloured him with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I coloured the background in with chalk to give a more vintagy feel.

The fab papers are Stampin' Up! as is the sentiment, which was punched out using the Word Window, also from SU! If you would like to see more cards using Stampin' Up! products, please pop and visit me on my new blog!

A Fairy Happy Birthday!

Good morning!
I have a card using another Lili of The valley image that I had already coloured in my stash...I am slowly getting through these!

I used PM's to colour the image and added some very pale blue glitter for a touch of sparkle.

The papers are Floral Fantasy from Kate Knight...freebies from a mag ages ago! The sentiment is Willow Designs stamped in Stampin' Up! Island Indigo and punched out using SU Modern Label. The ribbon is from my stash and comes with the flowers inside it!

Challenges

Right...more cards to make!
Hope you're having a fab Tuesday! :)

Happy Birthday Dad!

Hi everyone!
As promised, I'm here with my card that I made for my Dad's Birthday yesterday...

This is another one of my pre-stamped Lili of The Valley images that I am trying to use up! Of course, it is coloured with PM's and FM's!

The papers are some random ones from my stash called For Him by Papermania. The sentiments are a combo of a freebie from a mag and Stampin' Up!

Challenges

Right, as the sun is shining, I'm taking Keirna out on his bike and taking our guest dog for his walk!
Bye for now!

Grandad's Birthday Card!

Hello all!
I hope you've had a good Valentine's Day! I have! I have been out celebrating my Dad's birthday today, so I thought I would share the card Keiran (aged 4) made for him :)

The image is from LoTV and I let Keiran use my Promarkers for the first time...under strict supervision of course! I think he did a pretty good job, don't you?

He chose these 2 embossing folders from Stampin' Up!, and he chose the colours of card and buttons. All I did was cut the card and glue everything down for him! He did all the Bigshot work though!

Challenges

Right, time for a cuppa!
See you tomorrow with the card I made for my Dad!

To My Valentine

Hello again!
Now don't get excited about the title of this post...it's not my Valentine! I made this for my best friend Sarah's boyfriend!

The gorgeous LoTV image is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, and the paper is Pink Petticoat.

The sentiment is computer generated and the gems are from my stash.

This is the inside of the card...it's a verse my friend provided for the card.

Challenges

Ok....that's probably the most I've ever entered in one go lol!
Goodnight!
