Well what a day yesterday with no Blogger! It was a bit of a pain and I didn't know what to do with myself LOL! Anyway, normal service seems to have been resumed, for now, so here is my entry into the Less Is More-Embossing One Layer challenge.
Now I have to say that I'm not all that happy with it so I will be back with another try...I think this is gonna be one of those weeks where I never get it quite right!
The stamp is Dimensions - Butterfly Scroll and I used my Stazon ink and WOW Violet pearl embossing powder for the butterfly. I then used Versamark and Cosmic Shimmer - Blue Raspberry Aurora, Pink Violet Blaze and Green Sparkle embossing powders. The sentiment it a LOTV one stamped in Versamark and embossed with the same WOW powder.
I just want to take this opportunity to invite you all to join a new challenge blog starting on Wednesday called Crafting For All Seasons. Please come over, start following us and have fun with us! I'm sure you'll recognise some of the design team too! ;)
Hope you like and see you again soon!

Hi Lizy
ReplyDeleteI was a 'faffer' this week!
Maybe it's because it needs to be off the page slightly, to ground it, do you know what I mean.
i think its really pretty, Lizy, you couldn't make a bad card ever!
thank you!

It's a great design Lizy, I think that the sentiment should tone with something within the image... it looks a little isolated there!
ReplyDeleteThere are a couple of places where the ink has just missed a little, but you girls are SO quick in getting your cards posted, it's astonishing!
I love that butterfly stamp!
Thanks so much Lizy!

ReplyDeleteHi Lizy...this is a lovely card! I would have possible made the sentiment a little darker...but that might just be the way it photograghs. I live the butterfly image and colours though....just my kinda thing.
