WOW Christmas for Less Is More

Good morning LIMettes!
Well, I am now back to my early Saturday morning crafting after a fab 2 weeks being guest designer at Less Is More. I really tried to get around to everyone to comment, but there were just so many entries! I really don't know how Chrissie and Jen do it! So if I didn't get round to you, I really am sorry!

So this week the challenge is

So here is what I made...

Now, to be honest, the vellum Poinsettia was sat on my desk after I saw a card made with one a week or so ago, (and fell in love!) and I hadn't got round to making anything with it!

I simply embossed a panel of card with Pretty Print and added Liquid Pearls to the centre of the flower. I haven't added a sentiment as I felt it would take something away from the pure white crispness of the card.

Supplies
Stamp - Joyful Christmas
Embossing - Pretty Print, Iridescent Ice EP
Other - Vellum

Sketch Saturday Christmas!

Good morning Sketchy fans!

It is my turn to host the challenge this week at Sketch Saturday, and also to choose a guest designer for October. I chose the very sweet and talented Neets and you can see her card for this week's challenge here.

I am also sponsoring our challenge with some Stampin' Up goodies!

So here is my card for our challenge...

I used the lovely hostess set Warmth and Wonder for this card. I sponged in some sky using Soft Sky, then masked and stamped the trees. The snow section is 2 cut pieces of card, overlapping then highlighted with Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss powder. I mounted the panel onto a Cherry Cobbler card blank.

I finished with falling snow (white gel pen dots), a sentiment and some Pool Party Seam Binding.

If you would like to see more of my Stampin' Up! creations, please check out my other blog where you will find tonnes of inspiration and details of how to purchase these gorgeous items, and even get £25 worth of hostess products for free, without having to spend £150!

So here is my sketch for this week, which Jen has made all pretty! ;)

So get your crafting cap on and let's see what you can come up with!

Life is a matter of moments

Hello! Can you believe it's October already?!! It'll be Christmas soon! ;)

The sentiment is on a banner because I only went and smudged it didn't I! I finished with Blushing Bride Stitched Grosgrain and a few little pearls.

Stamp - Elements Of Style
Ink - Blushing Bride, Primrose Petals
Ribbon - Blushing Bride Stitched Grosgrain
