Ooh La La - Baby!

Good morning! 

I'm here with my card for our next challenge at Ooh La La which this fortnight is

BABY

This card has been made with a sample from the soon to be released Everyday CD-ROM! Isn't it super cute!! I printed the image 3 times and decoupages it, then just added a chalked, embossed background panel and a ribbon!

Less Is More - One Layer Flourish

Good morning LIMettes!

Yay I'm back on a Saturday morning! 

And this week at Less Is More the challenge is to make a 

ONE LAYER card using a FLOURISH

Like Mandi, I use flourishes quite alot, but also as the die cut! And this is one layer! So I still used a die cut! ;)

I used the Fanciful Flourish and used the negative cut out of it to chalk through. I then added leaf veins with a pencil, some lightly chalked butterflies, gems and a sentiment! :)

Red, White & Blue 3

Hello again!

Two posts in one day lol!

Well this is my last entry into Less Is More's Red, White and Blue challenge.

Very simply, I used the remains of the Daisies I used in my first LIM card this week as masks and chalked them. 

Ok...off to watch Bones!

18th Birthday Kitty!

Good evening!

Here is a card I made for an 18th Birthday for a girl who LOVES cats!

Image is Just Some Lines, and I coloured it with Promarkers. I then added a little glitter to the centres of the flowers. The DP is Pink Petticoat Just Daisies and I coloured a few of the flowers with PM's, and glittered the centres of the others. The rest is from my stash.

Red, White and Blue two!

Good afternoon!

I hope everyone had a fab weekend, and that those of you in the UK that held, or attended Jubilee parties had a great time! I went to Jen's and we had a Jubilee painting party and a bbq! It was lots of fun! :)

So I am here with another card for the Less Is More Red, White and Blue challenge...

 This is a little card I made, using a couple of new techniques...The aperture is a frame, made using the instructions in this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. It's not perfect but I like the effect! The flower is created by punching out 8 hearts, folding them in half and sticking them onto a tiny circle. I saw this on someone's blog earlier in the week....I'm sorry but I don't know where! In hindsight, I would have been better using paper than card as the flower doesn't 'sit' quite right...

I've made this to thank my neighbours for looking after Coco, our cat , and keeping my garden alive whilst we were in Wales :)

Ok, unfortunately, I have to go to work now! Oh well....Holidays don't last forever! ;)

Less IS More - Red, White & Blue

Good evening LIMettes!!

How are we all?

Ok, first of all, an explanation for being MIA in last week's challenge! I woke with totally NO mojo last Saturday, and then went on my holiday to Wales on the Monday so I never had chance to make a shaped card. And the reason I am so late this week is the same reason really...no mojo! But it came back today, hopefully for more than a little visit lol!

So here is a card I have come up with this evening...

The flower die is Sizzix Stampin Up! and the embossed edge is Sizzix Stampin Up! Edgelits. The middle of the flower is just a scrap of ruffled red ribbon I had lying around. I finished with 3 gems from my stash.

I have some ideas for more red, white and blue cards, so check back later this week! :)
