Good afternoon!
Today it's time for our new challenge at CAS-Colours and Sketches, and it's Louise's turn to host this month. For her first challenge she has gone all green!
I didn't think I would enjoy using just green (it's not my favourite colour to be honest!) but actually, I found it rather easy to do! As it was only one colour, I just got all my green accessories out, with the inks and paper and played! I rather like my effort...what do you think...
I started by stamping just the widely spaced parts of the sprinkle balloon from Celebrate Today in Pear Pizzazz, then added some retired Washi Tape, some Pear Pizzaz Chevron Ribbon and a strip of Garden Green spotty DSP that I punched first with the Hearts Border Punch.
I then added some Linen Thread and a butterfly stamped from Kinda Eclectic and punched with the Bitty Butterfly Punch. I finished with a large Basics Pearl.
I deliberately left in sentiment free as I think this little card would be suitable for lots of occasions. Oh I should say that this card is really little at only 7.5cm x 10cm...super cute!
We're looking forward to seeing your creations!
Super card Lizy and I love that embellishment cluster.
ReplyDeleteLizy the card is beautiful lovely colour variety x
ReplyDeleteThis is terrific, Lizy! I really like that you made the stamping look like confetti sprinkles. The combo of washi tape, ribbon, linen thread, and that pretty butterfly with the pearl is a lovely focal point.

Well, I'd never guess that you weren't keen on green 'cos this card is awesome. I also like the idea of getting out all your green stuff and just playing, the result, in your case, is beautiful! Thanks for rocking this colour challenge
