Anniversary Wishes

Here is another anniversary card I made this morning for a customer order.

This is a very simple card I have made by printing the sentiment directly onto the 6x6 card blank, adding the Marianne offset circle frame and butterfly, and some pale blue gems. I first left it without the butterfly...

...but I felt something was missing.

I am entering this into the following challenges today:
Flutterby Wednesday's - Open
Charisma Cardz - Weddings/Anniversaries
Less Is More - OLC Sentiment Focus

I'm really hoping this qualifies for the LIM challenge...I'm a little concerned it won't be seen as 'One Layer', but lots of other cards have paper embellishments etc so I'm hoping it will pass muster!

Anyway, I love the card and that's all that matters! :D

Jack's 3rd Birthday

Here is the other card I made, for my friend's little boy Jack for his 3rd Birthday today. Keiran had a whale of a time at his party, and we all got a great tan!

The image is LOTV Balloon Bunny  which I coloured in with Promarkers. The papers are from Holland and the buttons are white ones from Dunelm Mill, again coloured with Promarkers. I threaded some twine through them, and the little bits I cut off the ends I stuck to the right of the bottom of the image. The sentiment was printed in font, A Little Pot and I wrote the 3 on the balloon with a black fineliner.
I have entered this card into this week's challenge at Sketch Saturday.
Ta for looking, and hopefully there will be more tomorrow! :)

Golden Wedding

Hello again all!
I am back from a lovely children's party and a fun afternoon with my lovely son, and now I have time to post the couple of other cards I made this morning before the party.
Here is the first, made for someone for their friends' Golden Wedding Anniversary.

It is made on the same lines as my Ruby anniversary card, just with gold mirror card, flowers and foiling. The only difficulty I had was no gold heart charm, so I did my favourite trick and painted it gold with my gold Promarker!
I am entering it into Charisma Cardz challenge-Weddings/Anniversaries
Thanks for looking,

Inspirational sentiment

Hey blogger and LIMettes! ;)
I love that we have a name over at Less is More! I have had a couple of hectic day sos I've been unable to blog but I'm back! Here is my 'first' entry into LIM Sentiment Focus Challenge

This is a tough challenge for me but I gave it a go! I will try a couple more over the week, I'm sure! The sentiment is printed in Adorable and the backround is a Google image. I spent a while trying to place them together to look right before I was happy with it. I printed it straight onto thick white super smooth card and finished with 3 gems.

Hope it's CAS enough...

Let's Play Dress Up!

Hello all,
I have had such a busy day again today...lunch with Gemma, window shopping, then home to do some more of the front garden, planted some kindly donated plants, Dyson-ed the house, cleaned the bathroom and done two washloads! Only just had time to make one card!
So here is my contribution to the world of cardmaking and blogging for today...

This lovely image is a digi from Pixie Dust Studio and I have coloured her in with Promarkers (Antique Pink, Salmon Pink, Cocktail Pink, Dusky Rose, Mustard, Pastel Yellow, Vanilla, Cocoa, Caramel, Soft Peach, Satin, Ivory, Blender) I cut her out with the largest Eyelet Circles Nestie. The papers are just from my scrap box, the pink embossed with a random folder I have. I finished with the flower strip from Martha Stewart, rubbed with chalk, pearls, glitter and feathers.

I am entering this into 2 challenges...
Passion for Promarkers - Pink & Yellow
Ladybug Crafts - Sketch

Ta for looking and ta-ta for now!

Easter cross stich card

Ok here is another card for today. I have actually made this for an order...hope she doesn't come checking out my blog...I just wanted to enter it into Ooh La La's challenge this week, which is Happy Easter.

This is one of my rare cross stitch cards I make, usually for the same person who orders them for her nearest and dearest. This one is for her beautiful Granddaughter. The pattern was from the latest issue of Cross Stitch Card Shop and was much simpler to stitch that some others I've done! I wanted to display it slightly differently for a change so I put it through my Joy machine with a Nestie and then cut a larger pink card mount. *Tip* paint the edges of the Aida fabric with clear nail varnish to prevent it fraying. I stuck the fabric to the card with Pinflair bookbinding glue.

I think this is a pretty card and I'm sure it will be well received.
