It's Sweater Weather!

Hello all!
Wow it's a frosty morning here in Bolton! First of the year...it looks really pretty!

Anyway, I promised to show you the other altered notebook I made on Saturday, so here it is...

For this one I went a bit more 'male' and grungy, using distressing, Twine, Burlap Trim and some Sweater Weather DSP (and today is certainly a sweater weather day!).

The lettering was again stamped using Morning Post, but this time I punched it out using the Hexagon Punch. I finished with a Simply Pressed Clay button. The Burlap Trim is also a bookmark that lifts up and round into the book.

Supplies
Designer Paper - Sweater Weather
Cardstock - Soft Sky
Stamp - Morning Post
Ink - Chocolate Chip
Ribbon - Burlap Trim, Linen Thread
Other - Simply Pressed Clay
Tools - Distressing Tool, Spritzer Tool

Challenges

Again, this sold yesterday at church...I am now on the hunt for more notebooks, as I only bought 3! Doh!

  3. ;Hey Lizy - first of all, what a great inspiration this is - perfect for this time of year to start making Holiday gifts! I like that it is a masculine theme too - they are ALWAYS the hardest to make gifts for. I really like the button, grunge and burlap together and the letters punched with the hexagon punch are especially creative. Thank you for playing “Anything Goes” at our house!
