Get Well Soon...the Power of a Flower!

Hello all! I'm back after a relaxing time with my Mum and Dad, and visiting my best buddy Sarah and her new baby Rhona! On the way back from Huddersfield, I had an idea for a 'flower' card, using a flower created from 'bits' of ribbon. I am entering it into a couple of challenges that I think it suits... Less Is More (Pastels), The Crafty Pad (Ribbons) and Simply Create (Power of flowers). So here is this very simple, but effective card...

I used just some spare ribbon I had lying around (I actually think it's the bit of ribbon you get in the shoulders of clothes! A 'Kimble'?) and a pink pearl from Dunelm Mill. The sentiment is one from a Papermania greetings pack.  I hope you like my card...I may try and get another one done tonight, if my little man goes to bed reasonably early!
