Well I think I found my mojo under a piece of scrap Pink Petticoat paper this morning! Thank goodness! I have made 3 cards so far today, but I'm just going to post this one for now, and do the others later when I've been to Weight Watchers.
I decided, after the lovely, constructive comments I got about my first wedding card, (from the Less is More Pastels Challenge) that I would try it again. I have used a different image but from the same Cute Squares set from LOTV.
I think this is more suited to the image...what do you think? Thanks for all the comments before, and I hope you will do me the honour again! :)
Thanks for looking...I'll be back later!

ReplyDeleteThese are cute squares Lizy, I saw them for the first time at the craft show in Farnborough with Mandi. I actually think that the image and the sentiment look as though they have had a bit of an argument... they are about as far from each other as they could possibly be.
The ribbon complements the image well, which I would have placed not so close to the edge of the card and a little higher, so as to give more impact.
I'm so glad that you are striving for excellence!
See you next time!

Love it, such a cute image too, well done :O)
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely precious image! I love it! Have you tried stamping just the image directly on the card base? It's so pretty, it could stand all alone and be perfect!
ReplyDeleteHi Lizy
ReplyDeleteI think Id have been inclined to make the sentiment into a little tag
thats a super square, they are so beautifully drawn and coloured
sorry to be picky...your entry is much appreciated
See you again

These LOTV images are gorgeous (as is your card)
ReplyDeleteVERY cute wedding card, i agree about the sentiment, you don't want the bride and groom falling out on their big day lol:-)
ReplyDeleteHehe thanks everyone! It seems that I am struggling to get this one just right! I really do appreciate all the comments...I'm trying to find a way to make this card work...maybe I need to forget CAS and try something a bit more flowery...watch this space...I will get there in the end! I really want to try it as a single layer card, but I don't have the stamp...only the cute square. I may have to remedy that!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
